’Pimp My 50’ 4 Stroke Edition Performance Enhanced Motorized Hyper Bike

  • In this segment we ’Pimp Out’ a generic 4 stroke 50cc motorized bike through performance upgrades. This video covers a walk around, a ride along, build notes, and building process.
*** This bike will not be stressed!!! I am saving that for the next juxtapose video...this is just an introduction, or a teaser if you will!!
    BARELY HALF-WAS USED
*** UPDATE: (04/30/20)- So I have received some feedback about the Fat Belly exhaust. Many are curious as to why I didn't just use a straight pipe. So, my examination is.... I debated it. It would have been more simple AND I would get more power from a straight pipe--no argument there. That is true. 4 strokes need to just push away exhaust, not recycle it. Typical expansion chamber exhausts on 4 strokes have a flute style exit chamber. My goal was not performance...my goal was making it sound and look bad ass. Will the Fat Belly hurt the motor? No. Will the Fat Belly give the MOST performance? No. Though it will not give the most, it is still much better than the stock muffler and does give it a rich sound. I am fully aware of the differences between the pipes. Once again, I wanted to ’Pimp’ the bike, not make it as fast as possible. That can be proven by the size of the rear sprocket, the exhaust, and the pocket bike transfer case. If you want performance, then use a straight pipe...i am in no way suggesting the Fat Belly is better. I hope this clears up some of the air. Thanks for your time.

Plus the less restrictive the muffler the leaner the engine will run, which is bad. So if your going to put another muffler on without as much back pressure, you have to re jet or get a new jet for the carburetor.

Honestly even on the 2 stroke engine, that expansion chamber is worthless. The stinger is bigger than the header, so it's just a noise maker honestly.

Joe Gac : Yep, like I have said, I only used it because I liked the look and sound a lot more than the straight pipe. Could I get more power from a straight pipe? Yes. Do I need an expansion chamber? No. My goal was to make the bike look and sound sweet. But, yes, you are correct! Thanks for watching and the input... it makes the community stronger

@@SouthernCustomCC you can't get more power from a straight pipe unless you get new jets to make the engine run richer, straight pipe offers more airflow, but the engine will still be fed the same amount of gas through the stock jet, you need to add more air flow and fuel "a richer mix" to make an engine preform better. This is why super charged and turbo charged cars need aftermarket injectors.

Looks very good. I have an Electra Lux 3i built in 2018. It is very difficult to get an older model in Germany. I then chose Electra because the company was founded in 1994, which is also the year I was born. I have now completely rebuilt it with 26 Abraham Linkage Monark, disc brakes, white wall tires, vintage lamp and wooden tank with pin-up girl. Thanks to the rust, it has now become a real Rat Cruiser. I'm still missing a taillight and an ammunition box as a minibar. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to get a new one for the ammunition box because I don't want the one from World War II to lose its value.
I'm not sure yet if I'll install a motor. In Germany you need a class AM driving license for 50cc vehicles up to 45 km/h. But I probably won't be allowed to get a driver's license due to my mental disability and it will also be difficult for me to get approval for the Rat Cruiser in Germany. How far can you actually go with one tank full?

I have just discovered some very interesting 4-stroke engines. One is Zongshen NH130 (90 usd in a local store) and is 130cc and 10 Kg heavy. Another one is AEROBS 154F at 87cc and 9 Kg. Another one is LIFAN 152F at 79cc or 93cc or 97cc or 105cc (8-9 Kg heavy and 100$-150$). After you remove the speed governor, change the carb + the exhaust and polish the ports those 2.5-3 HP will become much more than that. I will post some videos soon.
These engines can be found in your local stores cheaply in water pumps ! So instead of searching them on Amazon or Ebay you better search locally for 2.5 HP or 3 HP water pumps and recognize the engine from the photos and specs. Or search for "154f engine" or "152f engine" without the brand name because many companies make them, they are Honda clones.

What have you done with the crankcase breather pipe. You cannot close the crankcase off as the engine has to expel air in the downward stroke of the piston. I fed the breather pipe into the NT aircleaner tube.
My Bike has the T Belt reduction 6~1 and 44T rear sprocket. My friend has the pocket bike chain reduction 3~1 and is over geared with the 48T.
Not sure if the 2stroke exhaust will increase performance, it does sound good and is more sree flowing than the standard one.

Remove that pocketbike transmission and get a Grubee Belt Drive Transmission you will see a BIG improvement then you can drop your rear sprocket down into the 50 Tooth Area since you want torq because the Grubee Belt Drive System Come With Two Gears That lets you swap out one for speed and one for torq.
also if you want the bike to look nice remove that tensionr/idle pully their is no need for one usng the correct amount of links and halfs links to get it together then roll the chain backwards on the sprocket is better then having them idle pullys on.
oh and swap the cluth from a three pad to a dual pad with stronger springs youll have better, faster, stronger take offs

4 stroke is lower maintenance and more reliable overall. If you get the 4 stroke, make sure you get one with the belt transfer case and NOT the one with the silver chain pocket bike transfer case. Spend the extra $ to get one with that case. Also, consider a bigger, rear sprocket for more low end torque to get you up hills. Overall, you call. Happy building

I still use the generic clutches because the 52 has helped tremendously. Also, try not to rev your engine. Only engage the throttle when you want to go.maybe you already do that but if you don't, it will make the clutch last longer. Hope it works!

Nice build. Staton, Inc. sells a heavy duty clutch kit for these motors. Also the 2 stroke pipe looks out of place, but great job on the build.

Thanks! I'll take a look at the clutch because I have tried three different types of clothes and they are all hit and miss. There really needs to be a more reliable one. Hopefully this on will git the bill! The is again!

Did the transmission break yet? I had one and it just break out of no where and i replace it with one just like it and the same thing happen again so i went with a Bikeberry transmission it would not fit in but i grinded away some of the fly weight cover and remove the bolt and it did great and it still alive today but you will lose some of the top speed but it can be easily gain back with a smaller sprocket. And just a little heads up when it came to returning things Bikeberry do not really take things back which made me wish i had bought my things on Amazon.

Hey, boss! Thanks for watching. The hangers are 13” and 7/8” diameter. You may need handlebar shims depending on what the size of your neck is. As far as the pipe goes, I know it's not optimal, but I did it for the look and sound...no regrets. Happy building 😎👍

  • @DavidKing-wk1ws

Would have thought the straight pipe would have been more beneficial? As well as an ecotrans fuel injection setup, with an oil cooler and mabe a modified watercooled head from a 2 stroke set up if you can find one that can fit. I have seen the water cooled heads advertised to work for 4 stroke on allie express but everytime i try to find out more information every seller says 2 stroke only. Would probably half to get one of those jacket heads from another engine or get a completely different engine that does water cooling then go with the fi and oil cooling. Mabe a turbo charger? If you can find one for a gy6 im sure it could be modified :)

You went in the wrong direction. A 7/8 inch straight pipe combined with drilling out the fuel jet to 0.026 inches and a high flow air filter is the answer. The claim with this method is 25% more torque. A 48 tooth back sprocket would be ideal.

OK EVERYONE... New at this and looking to build one. I done everything from welding, electrical to factory maintain. So I am very mechanical. I know nothing about the do's and don't to building one. Some say 2 stroke and some 4 stroke. I like the 4 stroke myself as I do not have to mix fuel. Can one get power and speed (up to 50 mph) in a 4 stroke? Very limited budget so I will have to build this over the winter but want it done by spring. I live 5 miles from town and have one vehicle (a 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee) in good condition. Look for an emergence ride to town so it has to be reliable, for fun, and exercise. Peddles for exercise and motor for fun. I can find a bike on Fb Marketplace or Craigslist to use as the frame. Can a 4 stroke be converted to propane? Just a thought.... Best complete reliable kit. I am looking through LOTS of RUclips's on 4 stroke but there is not very many.... Best tires as we have lots of goatheads out here that can go through a tire. yhey are like sand spears but are bigger and sharper.
