My non-vegan husband said this was by far his favorite dish ever!! Absolutely amazing ❤️
Wow incredible Michelle delighted to hear! 😄👍🙌
Gents, made this curry bowl last night! this is most definately a keeper! For me tempeh has been difficult to use because it is so bland. the abundance of flavor in this dish takes the blandness of tempeh and makes it most palable! Recipe was easy to follow and fairly quick to prepare. thanks for the videos and the great recipes! keep them coming!
Wow Farren that's brilliant to hear! 😄👍🙌
Love tempeh!!!!! You guys always make me smile. Love the positivity that you put out into the world!
Ah sending you 💚😄!
Epic spoon catch at the beginning
Yummy yummy in my tummy!

Yummy meal. Where did you find Tempeh in Ireland please? It is so hard to find vegan options in Ireland :(
I just made this recipe and had it for lunch...and oooh my!!!! it was so delicious! I couldn't believe I made this at home by myself haha! thank you guys, i loved the freshness of the mangos on top!!
This looks like it is going to work well. I have every one of the ingredients except lemongrass. I will look for it tomorrow. I am excited about a mango curry flavor. You guys have the same pots and pans as me. I knew you two had a great sense of style. Great video.
Brilliant!!! Hope you enjoyed!!! 😄👍🙌
Looks delish, cant wait to cook this recipe on Sunday evening!
Wooo go Angela!! Hope it went well for you! 😄👍🙌

You guys are great! Can't wait to make this tonight 😁
Sat on my train back from work and I'm thinking about running to the supermarket to go make this NOW!
YES!! On the ball Callum! 😄👍🙌
Gentlemen~by gawd you've outdone yourselves!! Not only was I drooling throughout but (being one who can "taste" the food being prepared as I watch a video or read a cookbook ) I was overcome with the umami~ness, the mango~ey goodness, the fresh coriander "punch" and the picant~ey hit of heat from the pepper. Such a beautiful assault on the senses! This is a keeper by gawd! Now if I can just find unflavoured tempah. Love tofu, but would like to try it as made here.
Keep tempting us. That's an order from an old(ish) Canadian cook of over 50 years who learns something new about cooking every day!! Thank you.

I'm definitely going to try this! I'm pretty sure I'll keep the noodles and curry separate though since I don't like when they break down and get soggy.

SOOOOO Glad you did this guys. I've tried cooking Tampeh a few times but not sure if I'm getting it right. Just one thing Snow Peas are called Mangetout here and are not the same as Sugersnap peas. But you could use both.
Absolutely 😄👍
That looks amazing!

Damn that looks good. Have you guys ever made your own tempeh?
Yo dudes, Been watching for a bit now, Have a basic Oster blender at home but looking to upgrade to FULL POWER!!!
Noticed you guys used to have a blendtec, is that a Vitamix now?
I've seen reviews of both that scare me! Any input?
We prefer the vitamix at the mo 😄👍
Lads, do you make your own tempeh or are you getting it from a farmers' market? Literally cannot find it for love nor money up North...
We sell it in our shop Méabh but try online! 😄👍🙌
Looks great guys! I have most of the ingredients on hand, but I'll go shopping to get the rest. FYI, sugar snap peas and snow peas are two different types of peas. 😉P.S. I shared you (and this recipe) on Vegan Aminos! ✌
Ah thanks a mill Beth youre brill! 😄👍🙌
I checked the recipe link and still have some questions... 1. How many servings is this? 2. What kind of chili did you use? (I’m not too familiar with all the varieties so I’d like to know which one to get) 3. How much noodles did you use?
Wow yum!!!!!!
WOOOO!!!!!! 😄👍🙌
Yum!!
😄👍🙌
Love it! Please do more low fat and gluten-fre recipes :)
Glad you enjoyed! 😄👍🙌
Uh, YUMMO!!
Looks solid!
Thanks! 😄👍🙌💚
Wow looks amazing
alternative to oat milk and what is tempe xx
alternative to oat meal, you can use pretty much anything else, like coconut milk.Tempeh is fermented soy beans, traditionally compressed with banana leaves

Is lemongrass suppose to be hard to chop? I used it recently, and it was tough.
It can be quite tough 😄👍
would this be suitable for home freezing? how easy is it to get tempeh in a supermarket?
Sure thing Cathy and check out your local health food shop 😄👍
Yummmmm
😄🙌👍
QUESTION: This looks delicious and I want to make it but I cannot understand the spice you add after the turmeric. I stopped the video five times and played it back but I cannot understand it. Help! And thanks!
Thank you!
Cheryl Houghton there is a link to the written recipe in the notes. They usually don’t do that, so take advantage!
Massive 😍
Where did you eat this in Wroclaw ?
Yo dudes! Where did u get those copper pans???
Andrew Cook I don't know where they bought them but check Bed Bath and Beyond or Ebay or even Groupon.👍
Bitchin' cookware
I like them, too.
I sell ones that look like these at work! Search Scanpan Maitre D collection 😋
Vintage market in Dublin 😄👍👍
That Mango is HUGE! Land of the lost Mango?
Hahahahaha its pretty epic! 😄👍🙌
a little bit of crushed peanuts at the end would make it perfect
Nice one Marek! 😄👍🙌
How many does this serve?
hello lads, what's the reason for rinsing the noodles? ta x
Wash away residual starch 😄👍
What's the difference between tempeh and tofu? I think the mushrooms would work better cut in big slices. OMG of course temeri
Huus67209 Huus67209 tofu is processed soy and tempeh is made from whole soy beans that have been fermented
Tofu is a bit less expensive and tempeh is a tastier but more expensive variant IMO
Todd Parker Thank you for explaining.
Both are fermented.
No, no, no! Snow peas and Sugar Snaps are different! Snow peas are quite flat, with tiny 'peas' inside. Sugar snaps look like puffed up snow peas, with thicker skin and often bigger peas inside, and are sweeter than snow peas. That said, they can be interchangeable. But they're not the same thing ;)
yes they are completely different. Snow Peas are called "Mangetout" here in Ireland. Suer snaps are like you said fatter
Hahah cheers! 😄👍
Hi Happy Pears! I love you guys and your recipes and have been watching for a while now. I so enjoy listening to you both but find the background music you have added to be kinda distracting. I'm a fan of the ingredients, the instructions, and your lovely Irish accents (ditch the background music) (a message from the peanut gallery.) :)
Hahahaha cheers Paulina! 😄👍🙌
Is there a way to cook/fry tempeh without the oil? 🤭🧐 :))))
bake? air fry?
You could substitute the oil for water actually! You just need to pay a bit more attention to it since water evaporates quite quickly and you don't want to burn your tempeh.
Yeah, just use water :)
thing is, water will make it a bit soggy (it'll fall apart a bit too) and it won't brown. i think the texture would suffer because you want the bit of crisp surface to contrast with the other ingredients. while that texture is good if it's what you want, the different textures is part of the appeal.
A little vegetable broth or in a non stick pan. They don't usually need any oil.
Fat is not bad.
😄👍
Could people please stop using the adjective "Thai" for anything that according to their eurocentric view is 'exotic'? You wouldn't be pleased to hear Ciorba being called a "French" soup in a non-European cook show just because French cuisine happens to be the most well known in that continent, would you?
So instead they should call the dish "Irish noodle bowl with Thai style noodles in a spicy sauce inspired by Thai food made with a fruit hailing from Southeast Asia and Central and South America"?
malink My point it there is literally nothing Thai about this dish. Noodles can be found all over Asia and beyond and the sauce is as much Thai as it is Russian or Cameroonian. It sure is a delightful piece of creative cooking but I'd appreciate if we could leave nations and the inaccurate usage of their connotations out of it.
it's just that new thing where everyone is trying to put "eurocentric" or "cultural appropriation" everywhere they can..
Zaline Right!? Aparently taking inspiration from a culture is no longer a sign of endearment.
Sure thing! 😄👍
You fellas are adorable and adorabler !
Woo Justin!!! 😄👍🙌
