As someone that's owned a Viper coupe, convertible, and Targa (RT10). I can say they've all got their pros and cons. The coupes are more beautiful, but nothing beats cruising toppless.

@@6.2_zeus my bad, I misread genv as genv convertible. Aka the Medusa.

You can get a hardtop for the roadster that looks pretty cool (but different than the coup) and a duck-tail spoiler -- looks great too!

they upgraded suspension to be a better street car and more neutral from over-steer

I didn't want to say about the paint not matching but I'm gonna a say you completely painted a CF hood not leaving any accents!!!!!

I don't have any other CF parts on the car, so it didn't make sense to me to leave any exposed carbon.

55k is a solid deal on a gen 4 especially in the current market. I have a 2010 coupe and I used to have an 08 vert, paid more for both. If it has a clean title/history I'd probably pull the trigger sight unseen. Definitely check the tire date codes though, plenty of garage queen vipers rolling around on 10+ year old tires.

Sounds too cheap to me ... better have it checked out.

I am between a 2005 Viper and a 2015 Corvette. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I would say Viper all day. Chances are they are never going to make another one again. Corvettes are still in production. Get the 2005 Viper and enjoy it

As a current Viper tire kicker, Viper ... hopefully you pulled the trigger already.
