Good job bro!! So our Hummers are high voltage already and we can find a high voltage amplifier. The conversions are easy and we don’t lose efficiency at all! I’m on the lookout for these amplifiers and somebody that can install them so we can avoid the 12 V system altogether.

man i've been chasing these issues for weeks now. 2017 g63. Coolant hose to turbo blew off, engine overheated to 260, melted numerous gaskets, damaged water pump, oil filter housing, what a mess. Thanks for the video.

Hey VM, I got the same issue on my 2017. Man, it's a tight fit from what I see. How did you get to it? Did you remove the two hoses first (That were not connected to the Aux pump), then slide the grommet off in order to get to the screw points on the hose clamps in order to remove the Aux pump out? I will probably replace the two hoses. It's the Aux pump that is causing the leaks, but while I'm down there I will attempt to replace the hoses if not too difficult. It seems whatever you had as issues on your AMG, I am having as well. But I still love my G63. Thanks for all that you do. 😊

During the Service A maintenance, the Mercedes mechanic told me that there is a little leakage of oil at the oil filter housing from my 2013 GL 63. I already bought the plunger for the M157 engine (part no. A 278 180 04 38 for 10$). Because of the minimum leakage and my minimum use of the car I will do nothing at the moment. Any idea how many hours it cost to replace?

how do you manually open the valve? Also when did Mercedes start using valve control on their exhaust? I have a 2012 and I dont know if I have one.

Hi. Can you tell me where exactly the oil was leaking from? I have this problem in a Mercedes CLS 63 AMG with the same engine, from what I noticed the oil is probably leaking from the round cap and it can be replaced without dismantling the whole thing. I think the entire base of the oil filter is good and the problem is only in this round cap

Maybe you could help: I got missfire on cyl 5, replaced the injector 2 times - nothing. The injector works for a few rotates when engine is idling and then shuts off. Got weird value at o2 sensor upstream of cat 6.62 something like that and does not go down. Changed the o2 sensor and still have the same values. Saw some oil in the connector, cleaned it and also nothing changed. So I'am thinking what could it be.
