I love the idea of a short tidbits podcast and the ideas you shared about favourite tools etc are perfect. I would also love to hear you talk about things like favourite cast on/off techniques for particular projects; when you do and don't use short rows; etc. You could showcase a particular project and talk us through personal changes you made or a a technique you enjoyed - without giving the pattern secrets away of course. You already do this in your regular podcasts, but the shorter one would give the opportunity to showcase tips and techniques more fully. You both have developed amazing skills over the past few years and we are always up for learning something new or different. I know you already have helped me a lot. Thank you for your amazing shared contribitions to our community xx

Love both of your sweaters Ray. I'm sure your dad will love his. Also, loved the tubes you cranked. Kevin, you have a real gift. I have a sweater's quantity of Fire Pit. Now, I can't wait to knit it up. It's gorgeous! Yes, yes and more yes to mini episodes.

Congratulations on finishing your father's sweater. It looks wonderful. Such a neat design. Look forward to seeing a photo of him wearing it.
The Old Fashion and the shawl are fantastic!
Always great to hear about all your projects and see the yarns you have dyed.
Excited to see both of your Shawn's Gambiers.
Best wishes for the Trunk show and July!

    Hi guys!!!
Yay!!! I have something to watch while I try to keep from melting!!
Predicted high anywhere btwn 114-122°F!!!! (Central California).
    I'll knit & watch you!!
I WAS gonna start a new project for LHIFTB, ordered a book for the pattern, but........ They sent me the wrong book!! 😭 One I already have. 😢. ('Argyle yarn shop" is AWESOME, they answered email in minutes & immediately shipped the correct one!!!)
Not to mention, it's already been a crappy month (& not because my bday is later this month .... It's mentioned in a project post).
I'm SOOOOOO happy you finished your dad's sweater Ray!!!! You'll have to show a picture of him in the next podcast.
Kevin, it's odd that you mentioned "knit fatigue" when knitting with heavier yarn/larger needles, I thought it was just me... Fingering, I can knit for hours, heavier, even an aran, my hands hurt.
I do a teeny bit of dyeing, "brilliant blue" is my nemesis, I think it's a Jacquard dye.
    Have an amazing fortnight!!!

Kudos to you for finishing your father's sweater, Ray. I wonder if you would have found working on your father's sweater more challenging if it had been top down in the round. Given the volume of the fabric, it could have become more unwieldy. Glad you enjoyed the bags. I didn't mention that I've been sewing for 60 years. I made myself a knitting bag and a large interchangeable knitting case with slots for the interchangeable needles, pockets for cords, and other notions out of waxed canvas, with outdoor fabric for the linings and small notions bags. That is also nice for sitting upright when you're working.

Great idea on the roll for displaying your yarn! I placed an order a few days ago and now I see colors that I really want to try. Ray, your dad’s sweater is so gorgeous. You should feel very proud of yourself. Kevin, I love the color combos for your Salish Caps. I purchased the pattern. I can’t wait to see the finished crocheted cardigans😊

Great epidsode! I'll miss Ivan and wanda and winkle LOL. I'm winding yarn for the Shaun's Gambier for my son. Your projects will help spur me along. Love the colors you both chose. I'm using Berroco Vintage Chunky in Douglas Fir as the main color, with mushroom and chana dal as the contrast. He has 3 littles, and this will be his s'mores cooking jacket this fall!!

Both of your color choices for Shaun's Gambier are 🔥🔥! As you were showing them I kept changing my mind about which I love more. So excited to see them as FOs!
And speaking of 🔥, I want so many of those sock tube colors…gotta start saving up for your eventual Skein trunk show!
I’m definitely here for more content from you guys. I look forward to being enabled by hearing about your favorites!
