Hi Petra and Natasha! I enjoy seeing your variety of beautiful knits and that you talk about your thoughts. Glad you have to rip at some point too 😉. Petra, you are so right: do a bit of something you love every day….it is so joyful to knit, sing or draw for some time, whatever you love doing for inspiration. Have a great summer time! ☀️

Great To see you both again! Natasha. I love your octopus!! Different colors for the tentacles was genius! Petra. Good to see you knitting again and making progress after the fire. So chaotic for you! Mateo is adorable!
Thank you both for your time and entertainment! ❤

I was so happy to see you back. I watched your three episodes, I’m so sorry for the rough road you’ve been on. Natasha I have to believe it’s absolutely wonderful to be able to spend the summer with Mateo. He does not look like a baby anymore. Also I love your top that you knitted the color is beautiful and it’s gorgeous on you. Petra we don’t always know what someone is going through until we been in their shoes. But I do believe you were there for your friend when her house burned. I remember when our barn burned and all the animals we lost. The whole neighborhood came to help in one way or another. Even though we lost so much we felt truly blessed and loved by so many. Petra you are right use the beautiful items enjoy them while you can. I tell everyone I make a quilt for to use it. And if they no longer want it don’t put it in a thrift store give it back to me. There was so much love, time and money put into it to take there. I’ll give it to someone who will use it. I so love your podcast. Thank you.

I enjoy your podcast so much. I marveled when you both started knitting while talking about the chicken and you were absolutely in synch. So sweet. I’m knitting my 4th chicken as I watch this too.

Oh bless, I cannot believe how fast Mateo is growing. What a treat to see him and what a treat to see you both again. It has been a lovely catch up. I have just knit the emotional support chicken and it is really sweet. My daughter said she would love one so it will be a surprise for her. Have a good relaxing time and see you soon ❤

Thank you Petra and Natasha for another wonderful episode! I actually stopped watching the Olympics to check out your podcast. Per normal, you are prolific, accomplished knitters. Natasha, I’m truly impressed by your animals (so many little pieces!). Petra, you absolutely need an emotional support chicken (or two or three). And what a treat to see sweet Mateo. Thank you for sharing him with us….okay, back to the Olympics🥰🧶🏆

I made 9 Emotional Support Chickens - it is addictive! One of them now lives in the office of the Mayo Clinic team that took care of me during a hospitalization in April, and one is in a firehouse in Illinois. Everyone loves them.

I just found your channel and I love watching you both. I watched the episode you showed your Christmas mittens also and it got me so inspired because I just started my Christmas gift knitting, which I always start in July also. I have a small RUclips channel and I have been recording an episode about my Christmas plans and you showed up on my feed and I’m so happy. I just subscribed and I’m looking forward to watching more of your videos. You are such a great team 💖😍

Hi Petra and Natasha, Another lovely episode. It’s wonderful that you’re both enjoying knitting and crocheting again. Linen jumpers are so nice to wear as they soften and although I’ve not knit a lot with plant fibre yarn I’ve never found it hard on my hands. I tend to stick to either long or 3/4 sleeved sweaters as being in Scotland and working in a big air conditioned building they get far more wear this way. My current favourite is Humboldt from Amirisu magazine that I knit from Quince and Co Sparrow back in 2021.

Schorle is a German word for a drink , either wine or juice mixed with sparkling water. Thanks for bringing to top to my attention, it’s beautiful and now definitely on my to knit list.

If you knit an applied Icord edge as you go would you do it on every row or the same pickup rate? My only issue is that I am loving contrast colors for the edge/rib lately, especially when I need an option for extending my yarn. You can even add a couple of rounds of a strip of the contrast to get more length, a combination of stripes, blocks of color, I mean honestly there is no limit. 💙
