So happy to see you, especially in good health and glowing! (minus the cold). You've been missed. The baby knits are adorable. And I love the hand-me-down, heirloom cross stitch artwork. Natasha, may your remaining weeks progress easily. Looking forward to your next episode.
Really love the family hat set, and the two baby gifts you made with that variegated yarn... They are so pretty!! 💕 Wishing you all the best as you work on your most important WIP 😉 💜 Love hearing about the vlogs and interview with Stephen, he's so right, any art form is done with passion and was long as it evokes an emotion, it's a success 😊 oh your beautiful colorwork sweater is a dream!!
I am so relieved to see you both again. I have been trying to find out and was so happy to see your podcast. Natasha looks beautiful. I love your vintage sweater. It is so refreshing to see it and that you kept it. My granddaughter who is 25 wears a lot of her mothers clothes from when her mother was in college. It is sometimes nice to keep things. You never know who might love them. The baby clothes are so sweet.
Glad to hear you are well! Thank you for all the inspiration, great projects. Stay safe and healthy, see you soon again 🌟🌟 To Natasha all the good vibes for the last few weeks before delivery. 🍀
I have been following you since you podcasted about the Arne & Carlos knitting cruise and I LOVE that you are now sharing more mother and daughter time especially as you are expecting baby #1! Congratulations!
Petra is so cute in this one. Her excitement is almost giddiness when the subject of the due date comes up. Looking forward to seeing baby modeling all those cute knits!
Good luck and best wishes on the birth of your baby. My son was born on December 22 but he turns 41 this year…..what!!!! Our Christmas baby…. Best wishes to Grandmother too. I now have 3 grandsons and enjoyed knitting and crocheting blankets and toys for them. 💕
Hi Ladies, I highly reccommend the 1898 Hat (free on Rav) for baby. I do the crown in garter also, so it's a bit warmer. The double layer brim helps keep the wind out. My daughter was born 1st week of January, so I also made a lot of newborn winter knits. Another good one is the Presto Chango sweater, also free on Rav, because you can make extra front panels to switch out. And you mentioned chicken paprika - Kůře na paprice sounds like a great idea. I know what I'm making for dinner! All the best to you.
I took knitting with me in the hospital. I knitted a yellow cardigan for my niece while in labor (36 hours) We call it the while waiting sweater. What is cool is when my daughter was in the sizes of the sweater gifted, it was returned so my daughter could wear it.
Such a good catch up ladies. Happy advent knitting. Petra, your second sweater is stunning and the first classic. Can’t wait to see the gnomes all knit up and decorating your home. Stay well and lots of luck if we don’t see you before the big day.
It was so nice to tune you two in always enjoy your Podcasts. It was nice to hear you enjoyed the NE Knitters retreat I was amazed when you walked through the door. I hope you will come again! Jane
It's SO wonderful to have you two back. I was worried, and relieved there was nothing to worry about. I always enjoy all you two share. Happy Holidays , Advent Knitting and ANTICIPATION!
Thank you so much for this wonderful episode! I'm so glad that you're all doing well. For me this felt a bit like meeting good friends after you didn't see them for quite a while. 😊 And I thoroughly enjoyed all those cute little baby knits you both made. Lake Como is about a 4hour drive away from here. After watching this I'm thinking maybe we could go there for a little vacation next year with the kids... Thank you and best wishes from Germany, Andrea
It is so nice to watch the two of you again. I suspect these episodes will be fewer and further apart when the baby arrives. I do hope you’ll keep touching bases with us. Love your episodes.
I love the checked hatt! And, everything else. Bring the baby's knits on the day that you ltake her/him home. Have a great holiday season. Glad to see you're both doing well. 🌟
Wowwww so nice too see you both! Natasha is looking wonderful !! All of your kniting are so cute!! Thank you for sharing all of that whit us!! Looking forward too see you next time!! Take care!!🥰
Missed you very much. I kept checking RUclips for you. Love how excited you both are for the baby. I’m jealous all the baby knitting you two are doing. Made a sweater for my grandson and my daughter does not put it on him, so I knit for myself.
Glad to see you both back and you're looking well Natasha. I recommend the baby hat Beloved by tincan knits, it's a great pattern and free. I knitted it for my grandson xx
It was great to hear from you and see all you are making. Always good to have several washable blankets, so you can reach for a clean one when you need it. Occasionally laundry might take a back seat...with a little one.
I really enjoyed this episode.🥰Natasja, good luck with your pregnancy and also so exciting for you with your new life as a mom soon. ❤❤❤I remembered my own pregnancy and my mom and me knitting for my twins. They have just become 18 years old in the beginning of november. 😉I love to see your podcasts - you are so sweet together and so nice things, you are knitting, If I do not catch to see your episode before the new member of the family arrives, I wish you Natasja the very best. ❤Also your mom Petra. I live in Denmark. You mentioned by the way "Søsterne Grene" (danish). I have also bought yarn here - nice yarn!
I’m so happy for you! Yay baby! I remember I had all the plans for how old my daughter would be when she would wear a knitted object. Then she came early at only 4.5 pounds. So it took her much longer to fit!
So enjoy watching you both am usually in Edinburgh but in Thailand on holiday glad all well can’t wait to hear baby news so delightful I have four grandchildren and knower the treasures they are 17 11 7and 3next week
Lovely to see you both again! Yes, I frogged the West knit along, I just didn’t care for it. The gnome knit along is using 5 colors this year, 20g each of fingering. I had to stash dive. I have lived in Colorado 30 years, originally from Midwest. Definitely we are a fun place to visit if you get a chance in future. I haven’t been to Boston but would love too! Best wishes and congrats on new baby!
So great that you are back 😃 with all these cute baby knits 🥰 at the moment I am knitting the painting honeycombs blanket from Stephen West as a baby blanket for my friends baby 🧡 I live about 3 and a half hour drive from the lake of Como, but in Austria. Many greetings! 🤗
Nice seeing you and your knits. Wrap you Christmas tree in an old sheet to carry out - reduces needles from falling everywhere and is a bit easier to manage. Best wishes to you and your baby!!
Aww I’m sooooo excited for you guys! (And i secretly hope you show the baby on the podcast 😊). Looking so forward to seeing you two back in December. Love love love your podcast!
❤ so happy to see a new video from you ladies ❤ I must admit I’ve been checking my subscriptions daily for a while so I was so excited to see a new video and i was so happy to see you both again. My baby was born on the 22nd December - he’s 30 this year. Also I have a little collection of Wysocki jigsaws that my kids bought me for gifts - I love them. I’m in Australia so summer knitting at the moment. Just starting to get some warm days, winter has dragged on a bit this year. Xx
So good to see you both! It was nice that my project bag travelled to Italy! Wish I was with it! Hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving. Petra, your friend’s blanket is a corner to corner crocheted blanket. It is such a nice pattern and hers is so pretty. Hope to see you before the baby arrives. It’s totally understandable if that’s not possible, but I will be looking forward to the baby’s arrival.
"You can live vicariously through my Gnome"... hahahaha! You two are so funny without even trying! It's really nice to see and hear both of you after a long stretch. I always enjoy your content, stories, FO's, WIP's, Ooopsies, and life in general. Best wishes to you both and to your family... And very special wishes for the safe and healthy arrival of Baby Ink!!! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
I wonder if the yellowed cross stitch is actually a representation to the wonderful years that you have had since 1989. You’ve experienced and aged just as the fabric has aged and felt the sun.❤
So enjoyed seeing you again. Congratulations on the new baby. Too funny my daughter in law is due in January. They have to induce and that will happen on the 22nd of December. We don't know if boy or girl. They have one of each. Glad to see all the projects. Take care and hopefully it will be soon.
Happy Thanksgiving! I finally finished my Birch sweater. It took me 11 months & lots of putting it aside. Fisherman's rib with fingering weight yarn was a slough
Happy Thanksgiving! I enjoyed this episode tremendously. The Wysocki cross stitch brought back so many memories for me! I was truly besotted with his art work (still am) and did several cross stitch patterns of his art work and puzzles as well. Petra's Twists & Turns is very nice - the colors work really well, I think. This was my first Stephen West MKAL, and yes, I hated clue one, wasn't fond of the second half of clue two, but at the end, I really like how mine turned out. I chose not to do the extra embellishment as I didn't like the look of it. Excited for Natasha and the baby's arrival! Here's to a wonderful holiday season for you all!
Just loved your podcast. Love how you banter, forget words and drink wine. It's like your in my living room. Natasha, just beware, you're stuffy nose won't leave until the baby is born.
It was a great pleasure to see you together again. I love your spontaneity, no need to be organized, no pressure for next episode. Happy Thanks Giving, take good care of yourselves and of each other.
Great to meet you in Maine at the retreat! Love all your knits! Petra that sweater is gorgeous. Best wishes on your baby! The best Xmas present of all.
Petra, your Twists and Turns is almost exactly the same as mine - my purple is a little deeper than yours, but otherwise we could be twins. I agree that the MKAL’s are about the process - I had quite the love/hate journey with this shawl. I was mad enough after the braided first clue that I had to set it down for a few days, and I was really sitting on the fence with the last clue, but I couldn’t think of something I’d rather have done and I needed the extra depth. I added tassels to lots of parts of mine, and I finally really love it, but he really did almost lose me with that first clue. The rest of it was very enjoyable, though.
@@knitink1044 well that just prompted me to finally take pics with the tassels! My Ravelry handle is Jodyknitpurl (original, I know). I don’t add a lot to my projects page, but have tried hard to keep updated on this one.
Great to see you both again. Love seeing all the knits. Just a tip about pronunciation of the plaid toque (as a Canadian) It’s pronounced as “tooque rather than “toeque ” (which is more of a marijuana term lol 😂)
As a retired postpartum nurse I loved all the hand knit and crochet blankets that the parents brought in for the newborns. Yes take your knitting just in case!
OMG! I made a sweater in the 1980's using yarn in that exact baby blue color. It was all-over lace and took me forever to knit. It must have been a popular color at the time. Hope you two have a wonderful Thanksgiving. So glad to catch up with you.
Great episode. I'm so impressed that Petra still has a sweater you made from the 80's. I made my kids some and I don't know where they are. I love watching your baby things. Colleen's blanket is a Corner to Corner blanket. It's a specific stitch. they turn out beautifully. I love all of your makes! Hope to see you soon.
A very happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. How wonderful to see you again, and know you’re both well. I love all the baby knits & crochets. Like you, Petra, my Stephen West MKAL has been a joy to knit. It’s my very first SW MKAL and I’m so impressed with his genius. Hope the coming days/weeks are easy and joyful as you prepare for the birth.
So glad to see you both. Mama to be looks lovely and grandma to be too. Nice to see you in your new apartment. Cambridge is fun. Don't forget to visit Minds Eye. She has a beautiful selection of yarn. I grew up in Acadia so I'm a huge fan of coastal Maine. Freeport has a great yarn store too. Mother of Purl.
Happy Thanksgiving! I was so happy to see you both had time to do another podcast. Loving all the baby knits in addition to your other projects - those duck boots are soooo cute! Natasha, I'm so happy for you that your pregnancy is going well. 💛 The crocheted gifted blanket is the "corner to corner" pattern.
Nice to see you back. I don't have small children or expect grandchildren any time soon, but I got inspired by baby knits nonetheless. If I may give one piece of advice - from one December mom to perhaps a future one; make sure to wrap any future birthday presents on NON-Christmas paper. It means a lot to the child, to separate birthdays and Christmas at least to mine, who is not a fan of being a December child (and now she is almost 22😆)
It made me so happy to see your podcast today! I loved hearing about all your projects. And Petra, your Jennifer Steingass Midcoast sweater is beautiful!
Oh wow, what a great Thanksgiving present! Just back from a trip to see the family and spend time with them and now a chance to catch up with you both. What a treat!
Nice to see your podcast today. Live in Ma but love Maine also. Check Chronicles of Yarnia podcast. Kathleen just knit a baby bonnet and may write up the pattern. Maybe she will send it to you !
So great to see you both and your wonderful baby energy. I loved seeing the vintage pictures for the nursery, such special time for you both 🙂
So happy to see you, especially in good health and glowing! (minus the cold). You've been missed. The baby knits are adorable. And I love the hand-me-down, heirloom cross stitch artwork. Natasha, may your remaining weeks progress easily. Looking forward to your next episode.

The vintage sweater is amazing! I wish I had been knitting back then. How exciting knitting for baby, too!!!
You two are adorable! Loving the cute knits and all the excitement. It's such a special time and soon you'll meet baby! I'm so happy for you all! Xo

Nice to see you both again. A Finnish friend said “sisu” means “strength and determination”.
Oh lovely.
HappyHolidays! Thank you and congratulations on the baby💜

Glad you stopped into the Yarn Sellar in York Maine for your buttons. That’s where I work!
A lovely store!
So happy that you are both well! I was anxious that something had happened that caused the hiatus.
I’m so happy for you! Yay baby! I remember I had all the plans for how old my daughter would be when she would wear a knitted object. Then she came early at only 4.5 pounds. So it took her much longer to fit!

Yes, you’re right, the patina of life!
Your crocheted baby blanket is a corner to corner. Beautiful colors!! SO happy to see you both, I was getting worried!
I wore a sweater to Rhinebeck this year which was a Vogue Magazine pattern that I made in the early '80"s.
Lovely.
So lovely to see you both!!
What a pleasant Thanksgiving surprise to see you!! I love all the baby knits! I’m doing some of my own for grands. ❤
You two are so beautiful to watch! So looking forward to meeting your baby / grand baby! 🐑❤️🐑❤️🐑
It’s corner to corner I think love Donna from England xx
Yes you’re right! It is.
Happy Thanksgiving to my two favorite knitters!! ♡
So enjoyed seeing you again. Congratulations on the new baby. Too funny my daughter in law is due in January. They have to induce and that will happen on the 22nd of December. We don't know if boy or girl. They have one of each. Glad to see all the projects. Take care and hopefully it will be soon.
Congrats on your grand baby, will be thinking of you on the 22nd.
Happy Thanksgiving! I finally finished my Birch sweater. It took me 11 months & lots of putting it aside. Fisherman's rib with fingering weight yarn was a slough
Its called corner to corner and its crochet from one corner to the other like a diamond shape
welcome back, I've missed yall!
Happy Thanksgiving! I enjoyed this episode tremendously. The Wysocki cross stitch brought back so many memories for me! Thank you for your note, so glad that you enjoyed the mkal.
I only went searching for you last night, was getting worried. So glad to see you.
Happy to see you both again. Touque is pronounced like two-k :)
What a treat! Love your sweater Petra! I’m very excited for you Natasha.
The plaid hat is so cute!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Great to meet you in Maine at the retreat! Love all your knits! Petra that sweater is gorgeous. Best wishes on your baby! The best Xmas present of all.
Lovely to meet you too.
I am still on clue 3! It's been in time out until Christmas gifts are done.
Adding tassels that’s a great idea. We would love to see a photo, are you on ravelry?
@@knitink1044 well that just prompted me to finally take pics with the tassels! My Ravelry handle is Jodyknitpurl (original, I know).
I don’t add a lot to my projects page, but have tried hard to keep updated on this one.
I squeal when I see a new podcast from you two! So nice to see you again. So many cute baby things ❤️
Missed you two
That was so good! Great to see you both again. Exciting times
Great to see you both again. Love seeing all the knits. Just a tip about pronunciation of the plaid toque (as a Canadian) It’s pronounced as “tooque rather than “toeque ” (which is more of a marijuana term lol 😂)
Do a tie with an icord. For the baby kimono
the crochet baby blanket is done in a stitch called corner to corner. So great to see you both back again.
I love watching Knit 365, he makes amazing things.
Nice to see you both again. 35 weeks, yay.

On the cover of a magazine…🎵🎵🎵..got me singing now, Petra. Love your vintage sweater!
Lovely, got us singing now too.
Your stranded colour work sweater is just beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Greetings from Scotland to you all.... so glad to see you both doing well.
Greetings back to you in Scotland.

It means a lot to the child, to separate birthdays and Christmas at least to mine, who is not a fan of being a December child (and now she is almost 22😆)
Yes we will make sure to separate birthdays and Christmas. Thank you.
the baby blanket is done in corner to corner.
