Just to add to the matter, i calculated a average Human ATHLETE can throw a 500 Gram (1.1 Pounds) Stone with a speed of around 25 m/s which translates to 82 Ft/s. The kinetic energy (the hit energy, so basically what would hit the bear). Would result in : 10 Joules, thats like i said for a really abnormally heavy 1.1 Pound stone, imagine what would happen with a human if you got ever thrown a stone on you or what would happen with a wall if you would throw a rock at it with this weight and this speed, there would be a gaping hole. Now a 9mm Calibre just weights 5 Grams (0.01 Pounds). That 9mm Tip has a kinetic impact energy of 362 Joules. So its 36 x more impactful than the 1.1 Pound stone. And to make matters worse all energy is released at ONE LITTLE TINY point. The Stone hits a large area because its big itself, the projectile crams 36x more "damage" into a tiny hole ripping apart everything in its way. A 338 Lapua has 4690 Joules in comparison. So in other words 362 Joules is more than enough to disable a bear just by hitting any part of the skull because it either breaks bones which leads to shellshock, or travels right along and hits other hurting stuff around its way or in worst case deflects and completely passes out the bear because all of that Energy we were talking about goes into the skull because it had nowhere else to got. It would basically mash its brain from shock, its the aequivalent of hitting a human head with a shovel just that that bear would not get hit by a shovel but by a 5 KG huge splitting Hatchet traveling 105 MP/H which is the aequivalent of 362 jules from the bullet.

Wouldn't a headshot do better since they don't go running off and saving you the tracking? Or maybe to do with the legality of execution?
I am not a hunter but here are some thoughts. (1) I am not sure that an arrow can penetrate a bear's skull. It will likely cause only serious injury and much trouble for both the animal and the hunter. (2) I think that hunters consider the lungs/heart shot as a means of "humane" killing, whatever this may mean (most likely that animal's agony does not last long). (3) A headshot with a bullet is perfectly fine for instant killing but they may want to keep the head intact (e.g. as a trophy). It would be interesting to hear what the hunters have to say about this.
arrows are made from materials that are less likely to deform plus their elongated shape keeps the arrow in a relatively straight line even after it penetrates its target. Bullets on the other hand while much more powerful deform tumble and deviate from their path once they hit anything more solid than air. In other words the arrows are a little bit like that 140 lb cousin who pinches her nose and jumps into the pool in a perfecly vertical line which reduces the spash plus she will dive quite a few feet down Bullets on the other hand are like your average 300lb uncle who shouts cannonball then proceeds to turn your bbq into a waterpark because his behind dumps the majority of its energy the second he hits the water surface

I'm not not an expert by any means since this is my 1st year archery hunting, but firearms is less stressful in the sense that it's more sure shot placement. Even 30 or 40 yards requires skill with a bow but a firearm is much more likely to put the projectile within a couple inches of point of aim within 100 yards with basic sighting and practice. A bullet also does much more damage vs an arrow that even a slightly misplaced shot is likely to kill fairly quickly vs an arrow

Such smart people, they can even kill a bear, really impressive!!! So strong and smart! In 2050 people will look back at this and will remember that at the same time people were working on sustainable energy sources and space science to actually safe our planet (including animals) and humanity. If somehow the vast majority of people could receive a proper education early in life in order to develop a healthy understanding of us and our planet…
Smart is choosing meat that is organically sourced from the most sustainable, renewable, environmentally friendly source. Smart is being able to provide food for your family without relying on whatever the grocery stores make available. Alright, I am confused. I have only killed one bear. I have killed many other deer/elk/ antelope, But the shot placement on these shots seems to be different than what the advice I am receiving is. I am told middle of the middle. These shots all seem several inches more towards the shoulder than I would think to aim. Many of these shots almost seem to be in the armpit. Please explain. I do not want to ever loose a bear if at all possible. Going again in a few weeks. Many of the shots pictured seem immediately to gush dark red. Heart on purpose? I have also heard on a bear that lung is better than a heart shot. Is shot placement with a bow extremely different than a rifle? Please clarify. Thanks! Just want to learn as much as I can.
There is a lot of bad advice on the internet so we have published multiple videos showing over 50 bear kills so you can see for yourself where to aim. Middle of middle is not entirely incorrect but it’s bad advice. Shoot like you would a deer and you will always have a dead bear
Pros: great meat, protect moose calves, deer fawns, elk and or caribou calves. Reduce vehicle collisions or damage to crops etc Cons: none that we’re aware of as long as the harvest stays within quotas set by government biologists

I'm curious how that there is instantly so much blood loss. Is it really that easy to target the animal's heart? Because I imagine that all that blood is not from a lung shot.
Many of those are heart shots and yes the heart is pretty easy to target under the right scenario. The right lung shot can produce massive blood immediately as well
При попадании в легкое , а лучше в печень ,кровь так же быстро теряется , лось , при попадании в легкое , пробегает 50 -70 метров , в печень 40 - 50 метров , в позвоночник падает сразу любой зверь !
Is it okay to hunt because there are many bears in America? I'm curious.
Yes. Bears are abundant here. They are an important part of our food supply. Those bears fed many families over many years. The license to harvest those bears was issued by the government who pays biologists to monitor and study populations to ensure sustainability
We also share in your dream of hoping that someday more people will be educated instead of thinking they are educated

And you will still be trying to work out your pronouns while sat in an electric car that needs fossil fuels to charge it and kills african children to make the battery.
If you actually knew what you were talking about, you’d realize that whatever they leave behind feeds the microbiology that helps the ground grow plants. Do the bare minimum amount of research before you make a fool of yourself

Definitely don't want to gut shoot a bear. Get in front of the diaphragm for the heart and lungs. Don't spill those stomach contents. 🤢
Good luck!
@@canadaintheroughtv thanks for this! i had the same question as @serosedserio6531. i shot a bear middle of middle with a rifle and never found it.
What are the pros and the cons to kill bears ?
Pros: great meat, protect moose calves, deer fawns, elk and or caribou calves. Reduce vehicle collisions or damage to crops etc
Cons: none that we’re aware of as long as the harvest stays within quotas set by government biologists

I am Uber apex alpha bear slayer. I use a 14" knife to make my kills. I was taught by giants who roamed the lands centuries ago. I have slayed grizzlies weighing 1,000 lbs. Grizzlies are fast, quick, powerful, agile and fearless. But are no match for me
