Janine, you left out the most common one. Sodium laureate sulfate - just about in every shampoo, its a harsh detergent causing the hair to strip protein and causing scaring tissue on the skull, on which hair can not grow.
You need to give recommendations on the products we should be using, that would help.

I use a shampoo that has vinegar as an ingredient. I get it from Amazon. It is in a brown 16 oz pump bottle. I no longer lose any hair.
