I felt like the old grandpa sitting in the back seat out for his weekly ride , with the married "kids" sitting up front . The ride was nice but the chatter between the pair, which obviously enjoyed each other company , brought back fond memories. Time certainly flies.
Love the video tours of the streets of Manta, especially wth the banter with your lovely lady Stella. ( Hope everyone stays to the end for a great laugh! )
Love this video, great you talked about the rainy season. The view of Manta by car. I can't for you to say bite me and you mean it with peace and love.😂😂😂😂😂 Road trips are great!!!!!
I love these videos- my son and I were talking about this the other day- how it's really helpful to get the feel of a place with videos like these! Thanks!
As I was watching I kept wondering if Stella knew you were recording. If not I was thinking "he's going to be in trouble!" lol Thanks for taking us along for the ride. I've heard that buildings don't have addresses, is that true? If so, how do you use GPS to find where you're going? Another great video.
Yes. the buildings have addresses but not like we're used to in NA. GPS doesn't rely on building addresses for information. And yes, Stella knew I was recording.
Don it sounds like they are taking some good precautions at least as far as owning guns. Hopefully the mentality of the people wanting them there will see what's happened in the USA. Thanx for the drive, it was fun.
Manta is hilly terrain I thought it was flat, I don't know if it was a holiday but no people walking on the streets, no chaotic traffic either , why you bought a manual and not an automatic?
Nope, not flat at all. It's good for walking and the heart. Manual is the standard in SA. Automatics are expensive and hard to find mechanics for them, especially along the coast. Not worth it. Besides, driving with a stick is fun.
Any chance you might have time to let a gringa buy you coffee (lunch, ?) and talk to you about Manta and the coast? I'll be that way April 18th -22nd. Love your vids!
I meet with subscribers all the time. Just let me know when you are here and we can check our schedules. I don't eat lunch but I'm always open to breakfast. -ds
@@DonShader "It is Legal or Illegal" lol - It was fun to be part of the drive Don. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if La Clínica Divino Niño was in that area? Thanks!
I live here in Manta, its sad that people from another countries think that its a beautiful city meanwhile people here want to “escape” from here lol If you still here you should try one restaurant called “rollwings” It’s my fav restaurant here
I think it's a bad decision to let civilians have guns. The police should be held more liable for their actions or lack of actions. The police and court should be solving the gun crimes , not civilians. There will be more shootings and deaths if civilians can have guns.
Hitler, Mao And Stalin thought civilians shouldn’t have guns too. Worked great for them. These types of people think you can’t handle the truth, and censor speech as well. Switzerland has no problems and a well armed citizenry.
@@DonShader I don't know what it's like under Lula, but in Brazil citizens were allowed to run over motorcycle Bandits if they were in the middle of committing a crime. Guessing the police presence isn't very effective there either. I give kudos to any government like Switzerland or the United States who aren't intimidated by their citizens owning guns

It is incredible that someone publishes Manta, simply impressive❤
Great tour. I find it interesting that there were a few business signs in English. "And I was on the couch butt naked". That cracked me up.

Great video quite entertaining made me laugh. And for what it's worth i think it's ok to have a gun.

In Ecuador is legal turn right on red light. Art 213 traffic law.
Thanks for that.

I have and I think it's wonderful.

I agree 100%!!

90% of gun crime occurs in just 7 cities. close to 100% of gun crime is illegal guns. very rare for legal gun owner to commit gun crimes. be fair.
WHAT police? Tom, you need to come here and watch the "Police" work.
