Whether you want this to be your parents car when you were a child, or your friends car from a night out, or whatever your situation I hope this can help you get the soothing sounds and visuals of what that might feel like being in this scene. When I was a child and I would be in the back of a moving car at night, I would always start to drift away into a slumber. Even more so with the rain gently hitting the window of the car.
If you find the lights distracting then you can skip to 1 hour into this video where the car has driven past the lights and is driving in the dark for the rest of the journey.
I hope that if you use this for sleeping that you can fall asleep fast!

When you're a kid and you fall asleep in the car only to wake up somewhere inside your home, that's one of the strangest but best feelings out there.
Oh yes and the spooky sense of adventure was to die for

i remember when i got a lift up to high school by my friend's mum, and when it rained and i was in the back (like always) it felt so calm to scroll through google discover ;)
(btw, when it was sunny i still sometimes git a lift home, but only went up in the car if it was raining)

This makes me extremely nostalgic. It's bittersweet. Being 32 years old now, it's frightening how fast time goes by.
Falling asleep while my dad (who died some years ago) safely was driving us all home. He was the best driver, never have I ever felt scared with him driving. That's why it was so easy to fall asleep. The atmosphere of love, safety, being with your family, no worries except school on monday or if that guy liked me too, or whatever. Kids-stuff. Maybe we had pizza or mcdonalds with us. And the next day was school day off so I could stay inside at home playing all day long. Rollercoaster Tycoon on my computer, or Crash Bandicoot on Playstation 1.
Magic times that will never come back.

It warmed my heart to read this, thank you for sharing 🙏🙂 I too had similar memories of my dad, Friday evenings were our takeaway and movie night, back then it was VHS, and he too would drive us to and from the video shop fish and chip shop, I always remembered being in the back seat of his cars, he used to drive around in old 70’s Pontiacs and Cadillacs, which was incredibly unusual in the UK, but I always found them fascinating to sit in, so huge to a small child, but great memories! ❤️

I listen to this through a Bluetooth speaker when i go to bed, puts me right to sleep. This has genuinely helped my short term memory get a little better, working nights and having a reversed sleep schedule messes with your head a lot...

Car ride naps hit different when you’re the one driving
I remember, coming back from holidays we had a two days drive to get home. Since I had motion sickness I would always sleep and then my dad would carry me to my room ❤ best years I hope he will live a long and healthy life 🫶🏽

Me and my family would always take road trips to visit family and for vacations instead of flying to save money. The drive home would always be the calmest to me, especially since we'd usually arrive home late or very early the next day. I'd always sleep in the backseat, maybe borrowing a blanket or pillow to help. I'd look up and or out the window at all the things I could see with the little light the highways and roads got with the lamp posts and few passing cars flying by. One of the best feelings ever and very nostalgic. Amazing video, gonna try and use this to help with my insomnia.

I just haven’t gotten round to it yet I’m afraid, very sorry 😯 Once I have moved house I will be able to get back to posting more often and making more frequent videos 🙂 I stuck in that weird between houses limbo at the moment. But will be back in things once I’m done which hopefully should be in the next month 👍

I remember sleeping at the back of my mother's car, as small as it was. It was enough room for me and my brother. We'd wrap our coats as blankets.

This is so soothing...definitely reminds me of childhood. To this day if I fall asleep in the car and I get home I wont be able to fall back asleep as easily as I did in the car. There should be beds made with car sounds and movements ❤

I remember the days when standing outside at a bus stop in the cold winter/rainy nights, the lampposts (street light) would give Me this atmospheric feeling of wanting to fall asleep under the street light and wrap up warm, so that's why I waited until I got home, so I can just have all the lights and electricity out, and have the moon shine down My face when sleeping at night time!
Now? It's a little harder for Me to sleep, because of My medical conditions as well as My mental health as well...
