Sea Ray, please take note. These boats are in the spirit of the old school small cabin cruisers which have been abandoned by manufacturers like Sea Ray for the Florida-style open bows and day cruisers. The Solara is my favorite.
Decent presentation and its an interesting category of pleasure craft. But, how about comparison figures? E.g. weights (for towing), fuel mileage and performance (0-20, 30, etc. plus top speed), best cruise speed range (with the obligatory 10% in reserve!).
Captain Trip has been with BoatTEST for a year now, and we're thrilled to see your enthusiasm! We believe he's an outstanding captain with valuable experience.
Some people trailer some rather large boats here....My personal boat is a 22'er that has a small cabin (C-Dory 22 Cruiser) and is surprisingly lightweight for what it provides which makes it pretty easy to trailer. It's lighter than all of these boat shown, wish there would have been one at the show!
As long as the beam is under 8'6" it can be trailered without being tagged as oversized. Additionally, it has to be less than 53' in length, 13'6" tall (on the trailer) and under 80,000 lbs.

4:21. Shallow cooktop with a recessed looks like another hatch. Just curious. A new shape I haven’t seen before.
Do a Trip dip!
I am volunteering to demo any of these in the NJ and NYC harbor areas 🙃
