Love it! Would love this for my next Lake Travis boat. Don't need the speed. I often times cruise my Sea Ray at 6-7 kts. And the accomodations are great! if only they sold it in the U.S.
Thank you Hugo, as ever great review. This boat is a little like a lovechild between Linssen and Broom with an economy finish. I can understand why you were charmed by it. Very clever design.
Fantastic boat. I love the functionality and layout. Perfect for what it does. Pleasantly surprised by this video. Something I may be able to afford. lol don’t see many. Thank you.
Waooh! This looks really good. Great use of space and has everything that is needed, except the small engine and low speed. Storage space is awesome. More like this please.
Terrific little vessel there Hugo. Always fancied a long tour of UK inland waterways and this would be ideal as well as being, as you rightly said, far more affordable than the usual fare on the channel. Very interesting indeed and can quite see why you were charmed by it. Great tour and thanks for that. See you next time and I very much look forward to the new season!
@@MrAbletospeakAt 14:15 he covers the option of an inside helm station. Probably not a very extensive one I imagine but still it is available to those that want it apparently.
Thanks Hugo! If you want something for inland waters, I can’t think of something better. A quick search online for second hand options at the price and you’re looking at a 10 year old Broom 370 for similar money.
Interesting boat for sure! It would probably need a bigger engine for tides in the pacific north west area where this could be ideal. I can see these becoming extremely popular in the second hand market. It reminds me of the Cruisers models before the Cantius.
A lot of boat for the money, If you do not want to sea white caps and wind over tide an ideal flat water cruiser. As I get older I could see me spending some time on the inland waterways of Europe. Maybe in a few years, for now I will stick with my mast and sails. Excellent video, I hope this brand does well 👍.
they should cover it in solar panels for autonomy in hotel mode, or equip with a hybrid power unit like the greenline 33-58 footers are, somebody should change the ships design to maximise surface, something like an ironing iron upside down
nice little tour on a river boat. But there is always one information missing on these tours: The bridge clearence! how low a bridge can this boat go under. Thats a waluble info for someone who wants to boating on europian inland waterways. anyway keep up the good work
Thank Goodness Hugo did this review. Alex would have hated this yacht. I like this yacht. Just because they didn't mark it up to 640,000 like Grady White, Boston Whaler, or Carolina Skiff would do if they made yachts like this, actually Grady White would charge 1.4 million for it amd then claim they were losing money. But this is an honest boat meant dor putting around lakes, large ponds, rivers and the occasional bay. Maybe it sits on the support yacht made by Lynx, Damen or Alia and is used by the owner to,explore the islands around the Great Barrier Reef, or the Blue Highway between Australia and Indonesia. He takes it out with his family to enjoy glamping with no crew. That's what I would do.
a fair amount of negative or condescending comments based on price v. larger yachts. That isn't going to win over buyers in this price range. Instead, sell the yacht as if it is just slightly out of reach of a buyer.
A nice boat, that unfortunately burns a lot of fuel per hour and has a relatively small tank. Efficient and practical needs clarification, unless the narrator is talking about the interior which i agree with.
Because the hull is not designed to cope with high winds and rough seas and the engine would struggle to punch through a strong head sea against both wind and tide. It would be fine on a calm day but you wouldn’t want to get caught in a storm.
@@MrDLRUclips A displacement hull means that it pushes through the water slowly rather than going quickly over the top of it (planing). You can get very seaworthy displacement yachts like Nordhavn (all big ships are displacement) but they are much more heavily built and tend to have deep, heavy keels for stability and big but slow running engines with lots of torque to push through big seas
everything about this boat is good except the engine? a Yamaha? and only 110 horsepower, max speed 8 knots? I thought Bering boat was slow enough but this guy is even much slower
More boats like this please. A great use of space. Products like this highlight how overpriced the majority of the market is

They will ship it
Here in the states, this boat would be perfect for doing the Great Loop.
Nicely laid out boat. My favorite things are the interior roominess and those windows/ports everywhere.
That is a cracking little yacht Hugo, I could definitely live on it, love all the finishes and so much storage. Thank you for the tour.
Glad you liked it

Fantastic. Fairly inconspicuous tiny home on the water for me and my cat with plenty of room for a guest.

Well, the inside helmstation is almost identical as the one in the cockpit, it's a bit more cramped.🙂@@alexreid4131
Very nice boat for a modest price.
That is absolutely awesome! I can’t believe the price tbh, basically $300k
Thanks Hugo!

I think this boat would be awesome for the Great Loop Route in the US
For this money, you could buy a much bigger used boat, for your great loop.
Yes, this is a charming boat and it is much more relevant to most people, than high end luxury boats. :D
Very nice. Is this boat available in North America?
Thank you! This is more my price range!
Very, indeed vet nice.
The second hand market has here a real competitor.

well worth the money.great video.
Very nice boat
A nice boat for the money. Good traditional layout. I'm sure you could upgrade the wood finish at point of ordering.
There's a few veneer options available if that what interest You.😎

Much more realistic! And easier to maintain.
Brilliant
Will this be available in the US Anytime soon.

thank you 🙂@@Balt-Yacht-Shipyard
Is the cabinetry full ply swell proof?
That's a cracking boat :)
I love it
Would make a great looper
Fantastic. If I could afford one, this would be it.
That’s a lot of boat for the money
Could that boat travel on the sea, or just in inland waters ?
It could travel on the sea on a relatively calm day but I wouldn’t want to take it offshore on a rough and windy day
Ranger Tugs. Trailerable too😊
A few upgrades, and that could be my live aboard.

Nice canal or Lake boat. A houseboat with a hull.
WOW nice is there a shore power hookup? who can I contact to talk about this boat in the USA?
I’m sure there is an option for shore power but I don’t know if there is a US importer yet
Hi, Shore power is available. As of now, We've not entered the US market yet. Looking forward to it if there's the right offshore partnership.
@@Balt-Yacht-Shipyard give this slightly more power and sell it in the US and you’ll sell a TON of these
@@nikitakucherov5028 Things are in motion and You can expect to see them on the US market really soon.
Now only if it was a bit faster, say 15kn, then it would be the perfect compromise coastal cruiser.
I really like that...
Do you think this boat would do the great loop in America
Perhaps but the camera work is too closed and I can’t get an educated idea of the dimensions. Will look up other reviews
Amazing boat just need a US boat Dealer now.
I think it's false advertising to call a boat the 37 grand and then charge 250 grand for it.
The name became catchy once it got to UK 😀
It means grand tour not money😊
They’re not charging 250,000 grand for it, only 250 grand. Talk about false advertising! That’s your comment! 😂
if you really think a boat like this is only 37k then you'd be better off with a toy boat for your bath

I'm not very boat savvy, but you keep saying "river" and "canal", so this boat is not for the ocean/seas? Why?
Because the hull is not designed to cope with high winds and rough seas and the engine would struggle to punch through a strong head sea against both wind and tide. It would be fine on a calm day but you wouldn’t want to get caught in a storm.
