I totally agree, Very helpfull! The instructions with the pool are a joke. Couldn't figure out how to attach the side A hose to the pool! Thank you so much!!
it's probably your drain plug that your garden hose screws into in the bottom of the pool and the two black things are plugs to stop the water from coming into the filter when you change the filter
Hi how much chlorine did you put in I got two cups and what was the other size of the small cup and how long did you run it for like 24 hours or 48 hours video cut off?? Ty!
Thank you guys so much! It really helped this old Momma get the pool up...the instructions coleman gives are terrible! You may this so easy! I'm really excited for my daughter! Thank you Again!
Great video and definitely helpful. The only recommendation I would make is not to burry your power cord since you would have to drain and store your pump for the winter. Cold/freeze, along with hot/humidity temps will impact the integrity of the plastic and motor components if not stored for the winter. Thanks for the tips on the ground work.
@@RayFixesAll He is right to bury the power cord. I did not and ran over it with the mower. I highly recommend you bury the cord to avoid hitting the cord with the mower.

@michellehoffman.3908 if you have three inches of sand underneath your pool, level and packed down nicely, the tarp is not really recommended in my opinion. How many pavers did it take? I just bought this same pool and I am getting all the supplies to put it up this weekend. (Great video by the way, it will really help me)
If you don't want to buy chlorine tablets which are expensive just dump 1 gallon of chlorine same day every week once a week and you shouldn't have any issue that's what I've been doing because there was a shortage last year of the tablets now I'm just used to doing that I don't even use tablets
If nobody goes in your pool and there's not a lot of leaves that week you can do every other week if your pool starts to turn green you can always buy algaecide I just dumped the whole gallon of algaecide sand filter takes care of the rest and then I continue with my chlorine the day after hope this helps

Great video but why did the pool have to come with those ugly blue hoses on the pump?
Lol idk but you can buy black ones at the pool store
My neighbors just bought the exact same one and so far they are doing everything wrong ! They've got it filled with water, but it's over a foot off level ! What a nightmare !!
Lol you should show them this video
@@RayFixesAll If it's over a foot off level, won't they have to drain it and start all over ? Wondering what their water bill will be ?
Got the same pool mate
Looking for a pool cover for this pool?
I got one on Amazon works good for leafs
Can you post information, I am having a hard time finding one..Thank You
INTEX Deluxe 18-Foot Round Pool Cover a.co/d/3IPcuzM
Hope that helps
@@RayFixesAll Thank you and this fit the 18x 48 coleman?
Yes it's a little tight when you buy it but it stretches in the sun
How many pavers did it take? I just bought this same pool and I am getting all the supplies to put it up this weekend. (Great video by the way, it will really help me)
I'm not sure off hand but just open your box and count the legs before buying pavers happy swimming
18 foot needs 18 pavers for legs and one or two for pump to sit on.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Wait so how many feet is it exactly?
The pool is 4ft deep
So.... 2 1/4 cups Chlorine for the 18x48? The 18,000 has me a little confused 😁
After owning the pool for a year I just dumped one gallon of chlorine once a week and you'll be fine
@@RayFixesAll so I don’t need chlorine tabs? Just pour pool chlorine in once a week?
If you don't want to buy chlorine tablets which are expensive just dump 1 gallon of chlorine same day every week once a week and you shouldn't have any issue that's what I've been doing because there was a shortage last year of the tablets now I'm just used to doing that I don't even use tablets
If nobody goes in your pool and there's not a lot of leaves that week you can do every other week if your pool starts to turn green you can always buy algaecide I just dumped the whole gallon of algaecide sand filter takes care of the rest and then I continue with my chlorine the day after hope this helps

Coleman Power Steel 18’ x 48” Round Above Ground Pool Set
No tarp lol yup this pool is doomed
Lmao you don't need a tarp if you prepare the ground correctly do they use tarps under a aboveground aluminum pool no so why would this be any different
@@RayFixesAll yea that guy is crazy I set mine up like yours didn't have any issues thanks for vid
It literaly
Says in the instructions to not put sand under the pool 😂. Also. Upgrade that shit filter they give you with the pool.
Okay enjoy a stick or rock going through your liner then
Does it say why not to add sand?
Bc sands have rocks in it. Sadly it’s how my pool popped.
Was there no tarp atop the sand?
Great video
Thanks
