i don't want this to sound weird, but you have a beautiful voice. i could listen to you explain how to turn on a light switch. you should do audiobooks. 🙂 i mean it. i'm almost too relaxed to set the pump up now. more to the point, five minutes later, i got round to setting up the pump, (the book of instructions is impenetrable, and i found this video with my fingers crossed), and you've made it so clear, and covered all the little nagging questions, and now it's all set up. took me 5 minutes. thank you. you've made this middle aged idiot feel rather clever. cheers 🙂

Should you feel the intake sucking water in? I've been messing around for hours with the thing and honestly can't seem to find something wrong. I'm getting outlet pressure but I figured I should feel at least some sucking on the intake
If you feel the outlet water pressure is good and no air in the hose then I think you should be fine. We have a skimmer basket in one and dampened the other intake valve so we can see it but don’t feel a lot of pressure. Feel free to check out our other video of the skimmer basket. The basket shows it is taking in the water.

This was the best set up. I'm struggling to get it set up after the original owners moved. Still don't know what I'm doing. But I'm going to try today to figure out the pump
So for the fly nut clamp, I’m having trouble figuring out where exactly to put it. Do you put the clamp directly on top of the gasket, or before or after the gasket?
We put it after the gasket but pretty much touching the gasket and we have not had any issues with the leak so far. We have also tired it before the gasket and that worked too. 😊
For the timer, just set it to the hours you want. Its in 2hr increments. Then it will start at the same time the next day. If you want it reset just unplug and plug it back and start it at the time you want it again. If there is a power outage then do the same thing to set the time. When having the pump turned on should water be flowing out like that for the duration that you have the timer set too? There’s no water flowing out of mine.
So how do you stop it from spitting water everywhere when you need to change the filter? You have to take out the plugs for the filter and return and put in the black plugs ?

@@barbarabell2908 may be due to the hoses outside that is bent? If the water does not leak outside it should be ok. If you want it straight may be you can tie it with some kind of twines till it becomes straight?
Everytime you clean your filter or when you are plugging it back in you can let the air out. Sometimes if you see air in the hose you can let it out too. Just depends since we have to constantly clean the filter.

@EclecticIdeas I honestly didn't even try to hook it up, haha. I went straight to RUclips and thankfully found your video and it was a breeze. How is your pump holding up now? I've read that they're not that great and it'd be better to update to a sand filter?
@@jade_nev2020 ya we wanted to update to a sand filter too but this pump came with the pool so we are using it. It’s not all that efficient. May be next season we will upgrade to sand filter. Just have to buy all the adapters for house hose and a sand filter that we did not feel like doing it this season. We hooked up the skimmer and it works on so we let it be. Will make another video for setting up sand filter next year. 😂
Can you make a video about changing the filter? When I do it the pump starts leaking water way more than it should. Do I need to do something first or what?

We got ours up noticed the B the intake from the pool has air in the Linea and is not sucking water from the pool how do I bleed the line to remove air and have water flowing
Did you take the air out of the pump? Just prime it by opening the top part ( release valve) of the pump little bit till some water comes out like in 8:17. See is that helps?
@@XxS1l3nTxa1Mx just make sure you release the pressure and let the air come out. When the water starts coming out then close the knob on top. That’s should do it.
@@frankiew311 well we had to partially block one of the intake due to the skimmer attachment and seems to do ok. Our filter is not that powerful but have not tried fully blocking one side. But we have had users comment on our skimmer video that they blocked one side and it worked ok.
I had a question I have the same exact pool and filter as you but this is my first time having a pool so I wasn’t sure if you’re supposed to put anything in the filter or not?
@@MarisaSterkaj well I think one came with it but get ready to buy it in bulk as you will be needing to replace it often depending on how dirty it gets. Sometimes after rain too it the filter gets dirty fast. Also if this is your first time then we have other videos how to change filters and hoses and so on that may be of help to you. OMG THANK YOU! Every other video I watched, they put the rubber stoppers in the OUTSIDE of the pool and made a mess when switching the hoses over, LOL

It’s about 25ft. We just went out in the sun to measure it for you before it melted in the Texas heat. 😂😂It’s feels like 110 outside!!

For the duration of the timer the it should be filtering. After the timer lights go out it will stop the water flow.
I have this same pool and filter and my filter is making a weird noise any idea what it could be?
Has it always made the weird nosie or just started making it? Only noise it makes is from the motor so may be something stuck there?

We usually run it when we are not using the pool. We run it for 6-8 hours.

Just an outlet in our garage. The cord was long enough that we did not need any extension cable.

What do you mean by 3 returns ?
The three connectors that we put on inside off pool. They are not going in straight. They are crooked.

Did you take the air out of the pump? Just prime it by opening the top part ( release valve) of the pump little bit till some water comes out like in 8:17. See is that helps?

@@XxS1l3nTxa1Mx just make sure you release the pressure and let the air come out. When the water starts coming out then close the knob on top. That’s should do it.

Do you technically need both debris filters or could I get away with blocking one of them? I lost the part and can't find any in stock.
Sorry with part are you talking about? You mean the intake B side that goes to the filter?
@EclecticIdeas Yea there's two intake ones and one that blows the water back in. I only have one of the intake filters the other one was lost.
@@frankiew311 well we had to partially block one of the intake due to the skimmer attachment and seems to do ok. Our filter is not that powerful but have not tried fully blocking one side. But we have had users comment on our skimmer video that they blocked one side and it worked ok.

hello l, i just installed my pump but i need to ask how often i need to release the air from the valve or when? please need help with that!!
Mostly when you are cleaning or replacing the filter. Other than that if you see air in your hose you can do it then too.

I had a question I have the same exact pool and filter as you but this is my first time having a pool so I wasn’t sure if you’re supposed to put anything in the filter or not?
Are you talking about the pool filter cartridge? That is needed for filtration. Other than that nothing is needed inside, that should do it.
@@EclecticIdeas did the pool filter cartridge come with the box or did you have to buy it separately?
@@MarisaSterkaj well I think one came with it but get ready to buy it in bulk as you will be needing to replace it often depending on how dirty it gets. Sometimes after rain too it the filter gets dirty fast. Also if this is your first time then we have other videos how to change filters and hoses and so on that may be of help to you.
