Immunoglobulins are an important part of immune systems. These molecules are instrumental for defending against viruses, bacteria, and helminths etc. These molecules also are the main player in allergies. The wonderful thing about immunoglobulins is their genetics, class switching, and structure. This series of lectures focuses on these aspects of the immunoglobulins. ...

It should be noted that actually while allelic exclusion stops either heavy or light chains being expressed from 2 alleles at the same time we do find that a heavy chain from one allele can be expressed along side a light chain from another. And this enables the cell to increase the number of chances it gets at rearrangement i.e if a heavy chain rearrangement fails then the cell will try to rearrange from the other allele or if both kappa and lamda fail then the cell has another 2 chances at light chain rearrangement greatly reducing the amount of cells lost to apoptosis.

You can embed a link for the next video right in the end of the video. (in youtube editor...captions,,link,, add url of next video) Your labels within the video do not seem to match the title on the videos. I would not bother with this, but the videos are good!
