I was in tears watching this video. I have been carrying some weights in my heart for months now that I am even doubting myself if we should continue homeschooling. But God is good that He gave me the wisdom to allot time and go back on things that give me joy like watching your videos specifically this one. May God continue to bless your heart so you could touch more lives like mine.

Tear-filled listening to your testimony! CONGRATULATIONS and Thank You! Just so touched hearing you say how both the house and the friend community that you didn't have were the 101 bananas that God so faithfully brought in His time, and so challenged by you sharing that you promised Him You'd praise Him no matter what the outcome! Also just loved you talking about how God gives "good gifts," and how sometimes the process (like this house one) isn't a walk in the park, but God is still faithful through it and growing our faith. So as I wait on the banana(s) in my life that I sometimes feel too "afraid" to ask for, I'll remember your testimony and will wait patiently on God, knowing that He makes all things beautiful in His time, and it's not down to my worthiness, but His goodness and timing as my All-Seeing and All-Knowing heavenly father.
This filled my heart so much. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, it means a lot!
We walked through this process last fall in the midst of homeschooling. It was the most stressful season we have ever been through. We had the same thing everyone said our house would sell no problem but housing sales had already slowed down here too. And then when we did get an offer there was a whole lot of issues before the people were actually able to purchase and dates kept getting moved out etc etc. BUT I still think this is so cool. When the kids and I were pulling out of the driveway to leave for the showing of the people who bought it we sat and prayed that these would be the people who would fall in love with our home and want to buy it. We had gotten 0 offers, a no show etc at this point and I was feeling SO discouraged! And despite having to work out some significant kinks those were the people who bought it! And we are happily on our land that has been a dream for years and was only a God thing that we were able to get. I’m so happy you were able to get your house after all that stress. ❤
PS just watched the last couple of minutes and heard the part about community. we got our community after waiting 10+ years for it. And I don’t take it for granted a single day. I still basically pinch myself and wonder if this is truly my life because after waiting that long and trying so hard and praying it just seems surreal that we have it.

You had me in tears through this. We've just walked a very similar home finding journey. We're a military family and go through this about every 3 years. I relate to every part of what you've gone through.
We just moved and have been in our new home for about 3 weeks and it's still surreal since we thought we had lost this home. I still don't know how we wound up getting it other than the grace of God. It exceeds all of our needs and even our wants. It's the biggest home we've ever lived in and had to buy some new furniture to fill it but it's a great problem to have. It's also our first two story home. First time I have a homeschool room. God was so good to us.

I totally get the waiting, and frustration. We waited 6 years for our home now. We could only afford a small 2 bedroom house with little/no garden. After 6 years we went from our 3 day old son to a 6 year old son and a 3 year old daughter and I have things in our home I never told anyone I wanted, but the Lord knew. Every day we are here it is a reminder of His great blessing and love for us.

Absolutely thrilled for you! God is so good! We moved a year and a half ago and it was a similar situation in that God gave us exactly what we needed and I was quite emotional. It was also a long process..we'd been planning to try and move for nearly 5 years. Anyway, what a gift. I'm so happy for you!

I found your testimony/sharing encouraging today. As we are in the waiting place right now as well. Been planning an out of state move for three years now. We sold our first home, bought an upgrade house, currently remodeling (At what seems the slowest place possible) in order to resale and finally get to our dream home/land; place to put roots and keep raising our 4 babies. We wanted to be out of here this summer; but the waiting keeps dragging on. Your story gives me hope that good things await us; as right now I just feel like totally in the dark. I'm happy for you guys!!!!! IT sounds like a total dream!

Moving is so exciting! The waiting period is so hard, we are currently waiting on numerous things and having to make certain decisions that we aren’t thrilled about but also seem necessary and it’s so hard. I love diy and decorating and antiques also! I have so many projects I want to dive into at our home as well. Can’t wait to see what you do!
Waiting is never easy, but it was 100% worth it. :)

Thank you for your testimony!!! What a awesome blessing and to see the answer to prayer go far beyond anything you could have asked for, but it’s just who God is. I also know it’s so hard when it seems to be a no. My family has been walking through a season of no. This was such a encouragement and really inlined with what our service at church was about tonight, it was, “how is your prayer life?” I am so excited for you all and can’t wait to see your new home. I feel this stress!! We are hurrying to get our house on the market but we don't know yet if our mortgage company will come through for us. Things have already fallen through once. I HATE this feeling!
