Excellent video. Exactly what I needed. I’m going to upgrade my Husqvarna so I ordered a bearing set from your link in the description. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.

Just did mine yesterday and now my wheels roll smooth! Just remember to add just enough washers so the wheel isn't sloppy on the shaft.

The video is excellent and very helpful. The Husqvarna in your video is model YTH22V46. Mine is the YTA22V46. Needless to say, they are very similar. I used the same kit, but I bought it from HD. Here are the tools I used listed alphabetically: Ball pin hammer(15 inches), Chisel(5 inches) w/½inch flat tip, Craftsman(41584) 10 inches long with ¼ inch flat tip screwdriver, four-way( Six inches L member) cross lug nut wrench, pliers 6.5 in L, PB Blaster, and socket wrench 1 1/16 in. If there is a way to add pictures to the comments, please share with me. Before I started the conversion, I practiced removing the bushing with a spare discarded wheel of the same size and it was OK.
I hate to post my not-so-smooth bushing-bearings conversion, why? It took me much longer than what it took in the video. I tried several times with the first wheel, with no luck. I sprayed inside the wheel with PB Blaster on both sides and let soak it for a few minutes. I then cleaned the wheel shaft. I went back to the right side wheel and hit a few times. Keep in mind that I was striking the small chisel with the ball pin hammer. Finally, I got the bushing out. I flipped the wheel over and decided to use the cross four-way lug nut wrench. That second bushing came out much faster. I must mention that I also removed the left side wheel which got sprayed inside with PB Blaster and it was soaking while I put the right wheel back in place. I also had a hard time doing that. The second-wheel bushings removal was a little easier. I also lightly smeared with grease the wheel inside and then with the 1 1/16 inch socket wrench drove in the wheel bearings. Note, that I did the same with the first wheel. While I was doing that arduous upgrade the weather was hot with 90° F. I was literally dripping soaked and wet. There you have it. Jim, thanks.

@@DIYJIM I appreciate. I should have said mower wheel axle(s) instead of wheel shaft. Again thanks

Thanks! I have one of these mowers and was surprised by the lack of grease zerks. I'm at the upper limit of acres recommended for my mower, hopefully upgrading to bearings will help it last longer. Using the riding mower is a lot faster than an old Ford 1210 with a brush hog I have.

When I do find a set that fits, I'm going to remove the inner bearing seals so that I can grease them using the grease fittings on the wheels.

I ordered the set you showed from Amazon and the bearings slid into the wheels on my Poulan Pro PB20H46YT almost too easily, but wouldn't fit over the axles...not even with a little persuasion from a BFH, lol.

l just got my kit, got bushings off but bearing flange bigger than the wheel hole. had to buy wheel at tractor supply.(Small town america) the flange part of bering is supposed to fit inside wheel hole right? I understand it's got to be hammered in , a tight fit, but it's not close enough to even try. ìs it that the inner wheel hole is too small, it fits the tire rod, no problem, or is it supposed to fit on the outside? Help!

Sorry not really sure how to help you. I did exactly what I showed in the video. They were the original wheels and tires that came with the mower.

I would think a long time. I really can not guess depends on how much you weigh how much you mow. I know they were easy to do and much better than what come on the mower. Thanks for watching
