Great job, ladies! Your fabric is so cute. And you stuck to it and completed it - that's fantastic! Your video clips were hilarious. Thank you for sharing your sewing adventure.
Jenn, This is the first time I have seen your Flosstube. I was so happy to meet you at the QCSG event with Nicola Parkman. Sarah, if you were there, I am so sorry that I missed you. Your FT showing your experience maki ng the Mini Project Keeper was great. I love Kari's patterns. It is good to keep in mind that this project is not so easy for those who do not have extensive sewing experience. I will have to go to your past posts to catch up on your Crossstitch experience. Happy stitching. Best, K
That was such a joy to see! I so enjoyed seeing your stitchy friendship and your determination! And your beautiful result!! I recently experienced a similar friendship challenge wi my friend Bev as we tackled learning how to do a flat fold for the Crosseyed Cricket’s Christmas and Autumn charts! It was such fun…we goofed, we consulted Vonna on the utube about 5 times…and came out with less than perfect first time efforts…but we had a great time and special memories! Thx for sharing yours!! Would love to see more!
I loved this video. I just so happened to have watched Stephanie from Lindy Stitches the video before. It's like the mini folder was calling me to make it. So of course I went to Tiger Lily's and purchased the pattern straight away. I happened to have all the materials in my home. I didn't need to buy anything. I have made bags and I have been sewing for many years. I bought the pattern at 2:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon. Went into my sewing room and completed my folder at 5 p.m. Yes, 2 1/2 hours, which included choosing fabrics.
Ladies! I so enjoyed your video! You two had so much fun together it made me happy to see your joy on stitching a project bag…oh by the way when you ladies are done I would really enjoy hearing from you both on your new telephone. Lol. 😊😊
Ladies, so proud of you both!! Even though I'm a quilter, my first one took me quite a while. However, the next ones were a lot faster. Now I'm hooked on having a new project bag for each start!! By the way, your phone cracked me up!!
Great video ladies! Thanks for sharing the process! Y’all cracked me up, glad there was no blood or crying. 😂 They look great and the sparkle is so pretty!
You two are the cuuutest! Wish I had a buddy to invite over and try my hand at making one of these super cute project keeper. I’m not a binding girl but I need to try, try again in order to perfect it. Love your keepers…., love you both!
You two did a wonderful job! These project keepers are so cute! I know you learned a lot - I love my first bag and from here on you'll get so much quicker! This was a lot of fun to watch! You are pros now!
Good job and great enabling because I, too, need a phone. I’m waiting on my foam interfacing to arrive and then it’s my turn. I’m sure done flowery words will happen and then the tears but maybe not. Have a great Sunday!
You two crack me up. I love the phone. So glad you didn’t get a response from the other side of the phone , it would have been a little scary.😂. The mini keepers came out great. I purchased the pattern but haven’t had the courage to try yet. The zippers make me nervous. 😊
My hats off to you both!! I am so chicken to try. I have a new sewing machine that has been sitting I it’s case for about 8 yrs now and I need to take it out and break that bad boy in! I think that y’all just might have convinced me to try it out! I loved the video!😊
Such an inspiring video. Congratulations on your first project keepers. You guys are a hoot. Singing and dancing must have been quite the show for Daisy! Keep going. We are all cheering for you. You made me smile from the beginning to the end.
I have laughed so hard because I sew and quilt most of my life and I will be starting day 3 on my mini project keeper! I think yours look great. I have a newer machine and broke 3 needles, cried, curse ,you name it. Yours looks great. I am to much of a perfectionist to do this. I am in Karis keeper club and have 2 minis and 3 full size keepers she made! She deserves every penny she makes on these things! #tigerlilydesigns
