I would like to make a simple crossbody bag for myself. I have purchased a yard of soft PU. I will be watching more of your tutorials. Love my RUclips teachers. Thank you.

This is probably the best guide I've seen on this topic. Thank you so much, you've given me the courage to go to the next level with my bags and use PU. You made me smile when you hugged your machine! I often do the same thing with my lovely lady! Cheers from Australia

I have never sewn a bag and didn’t even know what PU was but I watched the entire video. I am amazed at how much I learned and what an amazingly delightful teacher you are. Now I am even more curious about bag making. I believe my Janome Continental M7 would be able to sew PU

Thanks Lisa, really useful video. I'm more confident now about using PU that I bought almost a year ago! I have I have one of those 'hump jumpers' but didn't really understand what it was meant to do. I wasn't pushing it all the way under and it kept jumping out the back as soon as i started sewing 😊

Hey, I have a jacket made of this type of material and it's starting to peel. It's possible to remove all the material and use the lining part with another type of fabric, for example, wool or another fabric.

Please, please can you help me? I’ve reached the final stage of a bag for my friend. It’s faux leather with a cotton lining. Unfortunately when attempting to top stitch the rim of the bag. It’s the very last step as the straps are done. However, despite following your advice I find that it constantly drops stitches. I’ve a new needle, (universal) and I’ve attempted to test it. All I get are dropped stitches. I’ve unpacked. I’ve turned to inside out again and shortened the whole thing and then here we go again! Please help.
