    Great switchng layout!. Loads of detail! Prototypically slow switching moves. Must provide hours of fun. 😀👍

    Man, awesome, awesome layout! Great slow speed ops. Great looking yard. Man, you hit a home run. Subbed and recommending to my friends.

    VERY VERY NICE ! I especially like the BIG buildings. That makes the scene a lot more to scale than nearly all the layouts on earth. There's one modeler that understands the true reality of modeling.

    I got 3 of those S-4’s. Undecorated, hopefully I’ll get around to painting them for the FP&E soon.

      Black and yellow or green and yellow with silver trucks?

    Another great video from the highline !! Those 50 ft.. double-door boxcars are unusual, never seen models of them before. Like the S-4 switcher, hope to see that again in another video. Can't wait for the next one!

      Thanks Tom. Appreciate your comments as always. The 50 foot double-door boxcars are Accurail models. And I love that S-4 as well, so I’m sure we’ll see it again.

    Honestly, when I first clicked on this video I thought it was a real railroad but was puzzled by the boxcars in original road names. Then it came to me.

    Pretty awesome! I know I wasn’t supposed to notice that boxcar go grounding. That’s why you’re never going to see mine on video. Soo cool this layout!

    I don't know if this is a private layout, and I checked for other videos, and I gotta say, that is 1 outstanding layout. There is a lot of time and money invested , but the pay off is again OUTSTANDING. Nice job....

    6:30 Big 'ol piece of fluff on the ballast by the closest axle box of the switcher -- you can see it getting nudged as the locomotive passes. Best remove that before it gets itself wrapped around something.

    Nice layout! Great little runner there. I’m in, subscribed and looking forward to catching up. Is there a video that shows the track plan?

    • @manhattanterminalrailroadh9776
      @manhattanterminalrailroadh9776  Год назад

      The Layout Tour video comes the closest to showing a track plan. It is shot in sequence from right to left, though there have been a few changes since then. I don’t have a printed or digital track plan per se. I drew a plan 12 years ago, built the layout, and have changed more than half of what I built. I do have a hand drawn schematic that is current.

    Is there a layout plan available on line? Just a superb and engaging layout.

      No layout plan online. I drew the plan by hand on graph paper about 11 years ago and have since reworked several sections, probably about 2/3 of the layout. I do have a hand-drawn schematic.

    Sweet, very realistic layout with authentic engine sounds. Good work, did you use code 70 track, or code 83? You put a lot of effort into this layout. God bless.

    Diesel sounds are more realistic than steam sounds. Less complexity, of course.
