Interesting opening, noticed the nods towards Lori’s. In my opinion it’s a bit less emotional / impactful, but that may be simply because Chad is not the children’s mother. I want to believe this trial should be a slam dunk, but I’ll be nervous until the verdict is officially in… please go smoothly.

I could not believe how awful Prior's Opening was. He fumbled his words, seemed to just be making things up on the fly, talked about completely irrelevant matters for about half the time, and rambled pointlessly. THAT is all he could come up with after all this time. It was so clear he didn't even pratice.

He is very organized and factual. Don't confuse that with passion. He definitely has a heart for the victims. Plus using a book format relates to Chad better.

Zoom leaves a lot to be desired, but remember the jury is there and they are using 🎤. I think Idaho needs to budget for audio and video technology in its courthouses.
The people in court can hear what he is saying. You are hearing the sound as it was on zoom. As far as being more assertive. He is experienced and has done this many times. He knows what he is doing.
I just don’t think he’s the right sort of attorney for a trial of this magnitude. Simply not dramatic enough, nor does he garner enough emotion from anyone. I’m disappointed.
@@joycemeadows1821 The state prosecutors in this case for Chad Daybell are the exact same ones that were for Lori Vallow Daybells case. Only Chad's attorney is different from Lori's case.

The best lawyers were for the State in Loris case. Neither of these 2 r good with John Pryor being the worst. Chads not going to fair well.
