@@agunemonyeah ill reassess in a few years when everything, including the price, is different. For now it is a great system for many. I only play one game at a time, so the storage and price is good. I could afford the X if I wanted but whats the point. I don’t feel like I am missing out on much at this point by not have the series X.

@grg 101 why does it even matter? it does run 60 fps on most games and if you add buying the series s you most probably want to save money, so I strongly doubt that most of the people that buy it have more than a 1440p TV / monitor

Little trick for Series X|S owners of the game. In your system networks setting press "go offline" and then play the game. The XSX version feels like a locked 60fps no joke.

its been like that since the snes vs genesis days. Having said that, Series X is the most pointless console in existence. Has no exclusives, everything on Series X is either on PC or PS5 and Xbox usually get the worse version of multiplatforms. Doesn't affect me tho since I mostly use PC. PS5 and series X are old news

The 60 fps mode on series s is around 1200p
Its not 1080p its 1440p dynamic in both modes down to 1080p in some area its 1440p in performance mode its a beast

Idk if its the tv or what, but the colors on the PS5 seem to be different. Different tones, different light interactions. Very clearly seen in the load up screens but also noticeable in the nature

Because since PS5 is the most popular platform, they initially make the game specifically for PS5. Afterwards they port the game over to the Xbox. This game was made specially optimizing the PS5. If they had optimized it for the Xbox Series X it would have better quality, frame rate, and better overall performance, due to Xbox being more powerful.
Microsoft is also forcing game developers to split their optimization resources between the S & X.

Esse geraçāo é meio bizarra, Cyberpunk no modo performance roda melhor no Series S do que Series X e PS5, Lies of P também roda melhor no Series S, faço menor idéia porque isso acontece.
On series x with vrr tv it feels perfect.
Only with full HDMI 2.1 features and only in those cases but TV industry failed to deliver next step in HDMI 2.1 so it may work OK but it's far away from what HDMI 2.1 standard making possible.

This game is running on previous Gen and it can run on 2010 Hardware but point is to deliver more than just FPS , there is Draw distance, resolution deconstruction, tesselation, fast loading, less copies ( textures and resolution of an actual textures) and in general Elden Ring could be easy running much better but time is money and money is time so no one will spend a Year for resolving pipeline mess that's why we are getting optimized versions build on existing version but in reality if resources are enabling more we will all get better overall quality in all big titles.
Does anyone know what Xbox is doing with there graphics settings because everything allways looks darker than PlayStation for some reason and it’s like everything looks further away, can’t quite put my finger on it but it makes the visibility worse and gets me killed in Apex hahah
The fact they can’t nail a solid 60 fps on current gen consoles, with a game with such modest visuals, after TWO years of patches…is just baffling. Optimizing the game would have been much more appreciated than adding a meager RT.

Series s is great I bought series X other day and I can clearly see the difference on elden ring a lot more crisper and armour detail pops out more you can't really see the difference as well on RUclips vids depends on upload Res though but still seeing it for yourself really makes a difference

The game looks and feels best on 4090
Pc the visuals and fps are so damn smooth

Xbox s is value for money for those resolutions textures dont matter and u just want to enjoy a game

I would recommend both are almost the same in either visual or performance department
Image quality/Colors look better on the SX to me and glad they fixed the load times.
FR even seems to be as good as pS5 now if not better at times.

The image quality/colours aren't related to SX. They are related to the monitor itself, and he's using different monitors for the PS5 and XS.
@@ThenoisyoneyesI have a PS5 and sx and on the same 4k tv and the sx looks better to me and the framerate is pretty much the same. I think the sx might even be a little better with the framerate because of the better vrr.
Na hora da ação das lutas, game play, o xbox series x foi melhor, na minha opinião. Mas difícil bater o martelo pra qual realmente é o melhor. Pra mim, o melhor console é aquele, que não me leva pra assistência técnica, que não faz barulho o tempo todo quando roda jogos pesados.

As a person who plays on Xbox series S and X for more than 40 hours a week and has played almost all the latest AAA titles, I can confidently say that all these comparisons are absurd! When I am playing a game, old or new, its the game, the content, the story etc that I look at and not whether how clearly I can see the details of the trees, plants and water around me or whether how clearly I can see drops of sweat on the enemy's face or whether how clearly I can see the details of the clouds in the sky. I have never seen any significant difference between Series X and Series S because its the game and the content that I prioritise and the environmental details are a bonus. If you are like me you will be absolutely happy with Xbox series S unless you want to have a console with disc capability.
Especially today I can get the series s with only cost $199. That's the same price with ps4 which we knew powerless.
So you're saying that you don't care no matter how much laggy/choppy a new AAA title gets on series S as for me i remember how furious i was while playing Far cry 6 on series s when it newly came out. It was a nightmare and i returned the series s same day

meh there’s no real stress test in that video. FPS will dip much lower later in the game. But by the look of it, including VRR, series X might be the best choice. But I think The only way to play it is still with PS4 Pro version on PS5, 60fps locked since day one

series x looks so much better than ps5. ps5 looks to have muted color, looks less sharp, draw distances are nowhere near as good and looks kinda muddy. the playstation version of games have always had this grey haze to it.
at 0:25 u can notice he is using different monitor for ps5 and xbox. Even the map appears grey on xbox and warm colour on ps5 .

XSS looks like the “tarnished” version.
The ps5 seems to be dropping frames as more effects are produced through combat, Series X seems to be doing the opposite. However, based off of the last sequence the PS5 can handle more data within the GPU overall so that means that the PS5 is more powerful.
Series x is more powerful...bylut developers know the hardware better for Playstation

Yea frame drops, especially in areas with so much activity, even though I use the ps5 I did research and many others who experience this frMe drops suggested to download the PS4 version on the ps5. Graphics is kinda ok but at least there is a constant 60fps.
