We traded our 2017 acadia denali for the 2024 denali acadia. We've had it for a week and this thing is better in every way. I just hope its as reliable as our last one. It looks like a baby yukon 😂

Beautiful metal grilles on the speakers and the extra stitching and nicer materials are an impressive upgrade over the Chevy Traverse. It’s so quiet I didn’t even realize the vehicle was running. This is a gorgeous redesign. *gm* has truly impressed me.

I think you were right, the auto sense lift-gate did not work because the engine was running. Try it with the engine off I’m curious to see if that works.

TOTALLY agree...!!! My 2020 Kia Sorento SX V6 AWD sounds better than this. A vehicle as large as this new Acadia needs a V6 period. I am also NOT a fan of the column shifter. Seems like they are making things harder and harder in that regard. Just give folks a standard floor shifter, a dial, or push buttons like Lincoln used in the Nautilus.

Thought I would ever own one until a friend of mine picked me up one day and his new vehicle Hyundai palisade Limited I could not believe it for what he has in that vehicle you’d have to spend close to $90,000 in a Mercedes I was sold and I purchased one . And in many ways, the Hyundai palisade even surpasses some of the Mercedes now and Lexus for their comfort and bells and whistles they have for the price you cannot beat it.

    Turbo engines
The majority of the driving public do not know enough about engines, turbos, cubic inches, torque and horsepower to care. Just like an air compressor, the higher the pressure you run it the shorter the life of the pump, a car engine is a pump. Turbos pressurize the engine to falsely make it put out more power and you have Turbo lag before it engages. The 4 cylinders lose power as they get more miles on them, there is no substitute for cubic inches, horsepower and torque in a naturally aspirated engine. I have built engines and turbo's boost the pressure into the small engines creating more power at the expense of the life of the engine. Your maintenance cost will exponentially increase with a turbo when it fails. Any economy you may have gotten from the turbo will be totally lost on the replacement cost of the turbo. This vehicle is way too large/heavy for a 4 cylinder. A long list of gadgets will not negate the lack of power from a 4 cylinder, not to mention the turbo lag when you need all the power from the small 4 cylinder. GM has lost this customer. We have a 2017 ACADIA V-6, 34 MPG highway.
