  • How often is negativity, judgement, anger or frustration keeping you stuck or overpowering your thoughts? These negative thought spirals stop us from living our best life.
So often we find ourselves stuck in negativity, judging ourselves, others or circumstances. This can lead to blame, feeling like a victim, and other dis-empowering thoughts and mental processes.
Gratitude is a state of mind. Being grateful means appreciating what you have in the here and now. Look, I get it, you want more in your life, but have you ever stopped to think that wanting more means you currently aren't enough. If you're current thinking is you're "not enough" then you're looking down on yourself and this completely erodes your confidence. You become stuck.
Embracing gratitude as your daily attitude is empowering. Being grateful for what you have empowers you to live in the present and to appreciate that there are many, many millions of people far worse off than you are, such as those living in parts of Bihar, India or Sub-Saharan Africa.
In this video, Lachlan shares his "Mountain Top Perspective" and how getting out in nature is an incredible way to connect with the magic of gratitude and who you want to be as a person in this life, for yourself and for others in your life. He shares how being in nature provides maximum joy, peace, calm and empowers a state of loving kindness, shunning negativity, anger, frustration and other self harming thought patterns.
If you can embrace nature and appreciate it's beauty and awe, like Lachlan, you'll find that all your troubles will seem very far away...

Gratitude is the basis for being happy. When we focus on what's missing in our lives and what we "want", we are focusing on lack. By focusing on what's missing we are focusing on what isn't right with our lives - this is a negative focus and will undoubtedly underpin a sense of not being "enough". Gratitude counters our want for more by empowering us to appreciate and be grateful for what we have and who we have in our lives. By choosing gratitude you are choosing to empower yourself by being grounded in the present and appreciating what is rather than focusing on what isn't. In this video I focus on who I want to be as a man and how grateful I am for the people in my life and how I want to "be" and show up for them as the best version of me that I can be. Every day. Who do you want to be for the people in your life?
