I follow the same 3 things when parking my car for the winter. Never heard of anyone else doing them.
Our car is in the garage all winter. On top of that I have tarps under the car and plywood under each wheel. We put drier sheets mainly in the engine bay and put moth ball under the car.

Mothballs are greats at evicting and keeping all sorts of critters out of your stuff.

You forgot the tires. You need to raise the vehicle off the ground or buy some rounded supports for the tires. Otherwise the tires will deform and have a flat section that can be permanent.
Also, don’t use parking brakes. They pads will get stuck to the drums.

Just leave the package open inside the vehicle. Rodents don't like the odor for some reason.
