The two of his own LPs that he mentions were among the finest records of those years. (The double 10" set was a nice touch.) I still play those. The Kinks and the Who were my two favorite bands as the music slid through the mid-1960s. Waterloo Sunset? One of the best songs ever. I wouldn't trade it for the whole Beatles' catalog.
