I think RUclips just isn’t recommending any editors. But one thing I hate is when it’s usually just a repetitive edit of the same one over and over again. But it’s nice that there’s a lot of new editors every day.
It depends, trends are really fun to do and a lot of new (and old) editors find trends easy to do since they dont need to find an idea Trends are really important for it not dying, and there are a lot of potential ones, but more people need to recreate (and credit when they do ofc) videos, and make the community more interactive 😄
Don't give up your passion! Just because school is in the way. You can make time to do editing even if it's 10minutes of spare time you can turn that 10mins into an edit in the span of four days. Plus if anyone would like to they can steal some of my edits if you're stuck on what to edit lol. @@Pastelteamx
Hi, I’m Doyaru, a beginning editor, I’m a new Roblox editor and I’ve come to notice that this community is dying. I love this community by heart and wants to save it. Many famous editors such as Qaluo (this is NOT hate, she is AMAZING!) are moving towards content that is requires less editing, such as Qaluo’s “my friends sing…..” series, it is an amazing series, but as an editor myself, I feel less attracted to these content and for me it doesn’t feel right, (it might for other people, I’m probably just a weirdo.) And the thing is, many famous editors(I’ll say this again, this is NOT hate, they’re truly amazing ppl) are editing less, maybe because the community is dying or such things, and I want to state here that I do understand that they might just be going through a hard time in their lives and wants to let go for a while. But I really feel like that this community is missing something, and I think that one thing is, everyone is trying to go against each other, possibly to be the “editor.” But there is no such thing, as “the editor” so I think that what we need to do is work together instead of being really competitive against each other. So I am wondering if any editor would be interested in doing an event where we all edit together and post weekly for just over the Christmas season for fun and to bring this community back to life. (I’m taking a little break off of RUclips right now so I can’t really do the event right now, but maybe later into next year)
2:41 I quit too because some of those reasons. I wanted to hopefully help out the community but my videos weren’t doing good so I decided to stop editing because I felt they weren’t going to be very successful… and it’s sad how RUclips promotes lazy videos but not ones with actual quality.

As a roblox editor. The main reasons why people are quitting are: People are becoming old, for example, many creators such as b3eleyy and sunvrise (haley) are becoming adults and are moving on with their life. The revenue from the roblox edits can be really good but also unsustainable and unlivable. For example, i was making $#### in a month then moved to almost 2.5% of that the next month. About Piinkblinks video example, longforms are differnet to shortform. People have been makjing longform videos for a while like that. The quality of edits are always improving, yes creativity has gone down and there are less creativeness but peopel are always improving. Another reason people quit is because its so unmotivating posting ane dit that has taken 6 hours, then either your pc crashing before render or the video flopping. The editing community can only be saved if the creativness returns and there are more trends unlike the same trends everyday and boosting creators posts as much as possible, by liking their videos and engaging with it. This isn't meant to cause hate to anyone, just clearing things up :33
I could not agree more with everything you said in this video. I’ve been on RUclips for around 3 ish years now and I’m on the verge of quitting because the editing community is just so so dead we see no new unique content creators blowing up anymore and most typography and advanced edits getting less and less views. The only things blowing up are either catalog or trends that all have the same elements: same avatars, songs, certain quality and even editing software. If you don’t edit with after effects, don’t wear a specific style or have a certain quality then your edit will simply flop. Also the “preppy” editing community is on the verge of completely dying. EVERY single preppy editor has either quit or just never posted again. I’m not sure what to do now i find it so unmotivating.
I think the biggest reason for comunity dieing is beacuse that most of people are getting older are are busy as getting older and older, the editing especialy with roblox is getting bored to them and tho us, The famous editors who are less and less posting are most unlikely to start an trend now days, and people with good ideas cant really start a trend cuz most of them arent really popular. With all the hate and stuff I mainly think that these are the reasons comunity is dieing.
💚Popular ‘editors’ that do catalog videos ARENT editors anymore tbh, they should NOT be considered editors anymore if theyre not doing editing. Instead, find small creators and we should make them popular instead! With making new popular editors the community will grow substantially.
I agree with you as a small RUclipsr with 3.6k subscribers it’s getting very hard to come up with ideas and I feel like there’s not much things to get inspired with on this app

I totally agree with what you said. We can see our editing community dying slowly and its not okay. I find it annoying how editors like: luhvbott, has 1 million. her edits now are kinda bad, and she doesnt really show effort, and editors like piinkblinks used to be a 2021 icon and a 2022 editing icon. now all she does is catalog edits, and there not good. as a person with 3k subs who takes LOTS of time to edit, i just get nothing for it. i can post the BEST edit and ill get nothing for it. I agree too I make roblox edits and RUclips is unfair💀 I make good quality roblox edits and the other ppl like or a little kid adding no effort to there vids! They get so many views, likes, and comments I get views like 1K views to 17K views and that’s not fair if you add no effort to vids and get a 100k or 500k views or more…BUT I’m still really grateful for my views subs and likes that I’m getting! And I gonna talk about the hate I got. When someone says “Cringe” or “Bad” then I will ignore it. It took me HOURS to take! Also I subbed to your channel and have a nice day. ^^
The one prob abt the vid is you have to try to look into why they have the same avatars? whats in their head while making trends ? Why they are hating? Why do we like pro's more than beginners? That kind of stuff and your vid will be perfect
I Just started editing because about 2 years ago I ALWAYS wanted to be like qualo with her amazing edits! She still does, if you check my recent short, you’ll see my first edit, I used from a tutorial (I don’t remember from who :(( but I would still like to continue until I make it!! :) it’s just sad to hear that’s the editing is dying :(( let’s bring the edits back!!
Im a mm2 player and i was like often trying to make avatars that matched the mm2 creators but then a few weeks ago i decided to find my own self and i made a outfit im very proud of and now im making new vids with it. Also i think editors are hetting bored of editing in like dances and things and most of them r moving on to mm2. I love mm2 but i feel like we need more young hearts to move along in the editing community. Im not an editor but i feel like if we all made amazing edits then ppl will be more attracted to them and the editong evulution will rise❤
I honestly think the reason why this happened is because everyone probably graduated,went to college,or busy with school work it depends I believe everyone is getting older and I’m rn a teenager I’m trying to find any edits but their still the same and I have been busy on my entire life I was always getting bullied for the way I am or the way I look im always arguing with adults,teenagers,etc this was making my mental health worse I tried posting every day but school was in the way I couldn’t deal with it and not only that It’s the CapCut templates I see as editors saying “this cc template ate” when they made it on as and it seemed like it was when it’s not this also ruined the Roblox editing community I was really annoyed by it and now it’s dead now I’m still to this day making Roblox edits,tuts,toh gameplays,etc and RUclips videos I agree with u and I have been hoping for a great year because last year and this year when I finished school it was horrible I had headaches,stress,tired,exhausted,depressed and I hope this year is not bad I just don’t want to be a sad person anymore I want to be happy I love yall 💗
I was once an editor, I quit due to the lack of views and trends to do, there are no more ideas and the editors now move onto mm2 edits, gen is slowly starting to make less ttd3 edits and we only have qaluo and geniev12 still going keeping the community alive.
I’m sorry but I think it has officially died… I’m going to start posting a lot of edits so it’ll hopefully get big again. All I’m seeing is mm2 vids and no edits. My friend quit too.
And its also greenscreen kids and adults that are ruining youtube. They just steal vids and get 55k views with 30k likes while the creator worked hard but just 4 likes and 6 views. And people arent fair that when theres a good editor, worked hard, and got 3 views, While theres a bad edit, poorly edited, no effort, and 20K views. Like, what???
As a beginner for Roblox editing, I appreciate this video so much! And yes it is true that people r getting braver and braver for commenting hate comments instead of encouraging beginners to keep editing and make them feel good. Different people have different feelings, some people are very sensitive with them so if even maybe just 1 hate comment they can actually quit, especially for the beginners. As well for popular editors got lots and lots of hate comment too but they have alot more supporters than haters so supporters will back them up! So in my POV, haters will stop commenting hates on popular RUclipsrs. Instead, they will comment on unpopular or beginner RUclipsr to make them feel bad or whatever. So maybe next time if you scroll through a an edit with lots of hate, either comment a nice comment or back them up like what Kate said!

I absolutely agree on this, as u can see my pfp is a "GFX" I'm trying to make a new editing Roblox channel :) sometimes I go to yt and search for some Roblox edit ideas so I could get used to the Roblox editing community, and every single time there's the same videos, sometimes I search editing videos ideas Roblox and the same videos appear, sometimes it's kinda annoying to new Roblox editors including me, i have been tying to make creative roblox edits since a couple months but idnt have he opportunity since i couldn't rly et used to capcut, nowim making my firt edit :D an its rly confusing but im sure ill get used to it someday i hope i can make the editing roblox community a little bit bigger now :D
for me, i think people are just getting older. the roblox editing community started around in 2020 or 2021, and that was when no one cpuld go out anf have vacations or hangouts because of corona. as for entertainment and something to do, people started making roblox edits. and even when corona stopped spreading easuly, people continued because of the money and enjoyment. but i guess they started getting older and left editing. some communities just die at some point, and sometimes we cant do anything about it.
I agree with this all and i mean EVERYTHING. But i would like to add another reason the community is dying. Capcut templates, a lot of editors will use capcut templates and say they made it. And yes i understand i did post a capcut template(a kahoot one) i put it in the title and in my comment it was a template i posted it because i lost motivation for 2 weeks and i didnt feel motivated so i just did that. I got some nice comments and it made me feel motivated again. But capcut templetes need to be stopped.
Your really sweet for making this video! It’s actually so true honestly I feel like not using trending audios and putting in a lot of effort in a video is waste because it never seems to get views and that’s why a lot of my favourite edits have been deleted, not many views, lots of hate, ect. The hate makes my feel so horrible I mean all I do 24/7 on my channel is deleting comments, I get dms and emails from random strangers and creeps telling me horrible things I mean it goes to the point where they use abusive language. Just like you think I hate using same audios and repeating trends but it’s all that ever seems to get appreciation and views and especially mm2 content. In my opinion mm2 content is lazy but it gets so many views and likes and it’s sad to see all my influencer friends to switch to that… it’s nice to know that there are people out there that understand

Futureneverlands also doesn’t mostly post roblox Edits she posts outfit videos or catalog videos saying to join her group to buy clothes or smth(NO HATE) and luhvbott posts sometimes these rp things or smth like that(no hate) also Rebootedpoppy used to be a part of the editing community but she left and now does farm spam channel(little hate) b3eleyy makes real life posts sometimes and Barbiebankz and kitsubee quit as a small editor I will not give up! #savetherobloxeditingcommunity
Hello Kate. As a roblox editor, I did realise this happening. The repetitive part I’ve seen by one of my friends. She uses the same song and avatar constantly which I now find pretty boring. As for me, I use the same hair and faceless but nothing else is the same. I would want the death for edits to stop when possible. Tysm for the tips and this video. Love u ♥️😊
As an editor i can officially say that the youtube algorithm doesnt push out roblox edits like they used to. All of acctualy good edits are from extremely underatted editors.
as a roblox editor, I completly agree with you and I also (kinda) have a problem with the "nothings new" trend (the ones that are saying the editing community is dying). so if you have apperently never heard of the nothings new trend (roblox editing community style thing idk) its basically where ppl say things like "the roblox editing community is DYING" or something like that while dancing in the background along to the music (itd be easier if you just search it up because im bad at explaining). the problem I have with it is that saying that the editing community is dying isnt gonna do anything, it just makes the situation worse and worse because ppl think the community is already dead so editors will just quit anyway sorry for any grammar/spelling errors, english isnt my first language lol
i try my best to make edits but most of them dont get a lot of views, however recently, i got around 5k views for just a simple sheriff victory edit in mm2. this just makes me think that im spending way too much time on edits and i should make more simpler edits.
another reason I think why the community is so toxic now is we have a new generation, kids/teens half of them are just trying to life their life while the other half is just trying to be cool. they think hating is cool so they do it, another reason is most of our popular editors are only posting every few months, most of these people are 13+ so it makes sense they wouldn’t have time to post, some just want a break. everyone does the same trend and it’s not fun anymore people don’t use their creativity as much as people used to back in 2020-2022. it’s also because people think Roblox is for kids not for teens and adults, but it’s not we have older RUclipsrs but that’s the Roblox community not the editing community so really it’s mostly the hate and toxicity our society has become. #bringbacktherobloxeditingcommunity

Hi,im Sage a new roblox editor who’s a beginner.I realize that a lot of editors are quitting or just making catalog videos instead of posting edits,im trying to keep the community alive by posting trends but also my original edits on my channel,i wish some more people did that with songs they love,thanks for spreading awareness to the roblox editing community!I hope it doesnt die because i love it,i do get hate comments too but i usually just delete them and keep the nice comments.I also have a message for the other new roblox editors,do what you love and dont stop doing it just because of some haters because you can do things they cant.

I absolutely love this video. This gives a amazing explanation to what we can do to help and why the community is declining. I already do all these (well most) if so many other people do it, we can save the community.
I agree with these reasons a lot! I’m a partial editor, and I think we still have a chance to revive it before the community gets anymore toxic. And a lot of editors are starting to get their videos reposted like paradise Rosie without any consent. They use the excuse; ‘I’m just spreading awareness how good she is’ when they are clearly just taking all the attention away from the original creator. And here are some of my tips that might help revive the editing community! 1. Like u said stay positive! If people start getting a bunch of support, they can soon slowly gain confidence and motivation to keep going and producing amazing edits! 2. Try to post some of your own! This can really save the editing community if more people start joining! 3. Keep ur vids as high quality as u can make them! High quality is very important to prevent hate and boredom of other viewers, therefore can really help the community :) 4. Keep yourself motivated! Motivation is super important to keep posting positive and productive content and edits, and can inspire others to do the same and soon revive this community!! 5. Post as much as you can! Posting a bit consistently can help not only your channel but the entire community! But some creators get really disorganized, so instead you can set up a posting schedule:) These are some of my tips I think will help :) hope it did help!
i do edits on Roblox (laggy and bad quality ones) (: and i gained 2k subs but i quit making videos/Roblox all together Abt a few weeks ago. No body really watch Roblox edits anymore and it's now more of the "Irl to Roblox trends" I don't have a problem with those, in-fact I use to do those videos. But I miss the Roblox editing community and it just got boring. Roblox items have beeN REALLY expensive lately and the face items from 15 to 100 & 95 Robux is crazy... I really hope this works because it's sad to see it "dying". It's also been around for quite some time.
I’m actually a small Roblox yt myself and I came when multiple ppl said the Roblox community is dying aka the editors, I felt I should still continue my work bc I have fun. I have 1 hater but I tend to ignore him, I still am a toblox yt and ik finding views is hard and my hardest edits I work on get like poor vies but the least amount of work gets heaps like I got 52k somthing on a basic edit lol it’s alg and I thank them for the views but it’s still hard the stuff I work on gets let’s veiws lol. Anyways this is way to long but ya if ur a small roblox yt always keep going!

There are two different types of saying bad stuff abt a edit 1.:if u say it to hurt them like *lol this is trash💀* but if u keep saying *omg this is so good * even when it’s bad they will start to think it’s actually good and they will never improve, u can say what They could improve like *try adding velocity, use masking and other things
Most of the content creators who used to create edits now basically choose to be lazy and do random ass video on free items and clickbaits with a text to speech voice and no efforts at all. Literally 2/3 of the video would be them asking to subscribe and like. for eg:- "I bet you can't subscribe before this bacon flies away"
I used to do edits and I enjoyed making them! I slowly stopped making edits because I was thinking my viewers didn’t like edits anymore and it was pretty hard because there was no more trends. So I moved on to dress to impress edits!

As a Roblox editor since 2021, its honestly really sad. The community in 2021-2022 was amazing! I made so many friends and memories. This year ive managed to get heaps of subs and also get way better at editing. Seeing my childhood just die, its making me unmotivated. I got interest in the show total drama and made a channel called ‘LuhvLindsay’ and that channel BLEW UP. in just a few weeks. And by then I just gave up on this channel. My edits on the LuhvLindsay acc were pretty simple, but gained more views in one video than I have in general on this channel. But spending HOURS on edits for this channel jsut got me a few views. And now thats why my channel is pretty dead. Im trying to revive it and I hope we can get the community back in 2024. Merry Christmas and happy new year xx
I’ve started editing a month or 3weeks or so and I find it very fun! but I sadly also had breaks because of school and low motivation. I dont usually get views or subs or any likes, I kinda do it for fun but having no motivation at all is hard.

As a Roblox editor I can say that this is true. And I feel like all of the original edits have only a few likes and the less creative ones end up on the fyp. and sometimes I'm pressured to do trends that I don't like just to gain followers and stuff. but most of all THE HATE COMMENTS, ppl are so mean on my videos and other people's videos, and it's getting out of hand. I know a 6/yo editor who has gotten threats in her comment section like: "delete this or I'll come to your house" and stuff like that. I just feel like the editing community on Roblox used to be so much better and now I'm even thinking of quitting. 😔
I agree on this sm. I'm one of the ppl that have quit, I've moved on from the roblox editing community (now in the dragon puppets community). I think it's more of bc I haven't been motivated, like you said, the trends that blow up are all the same, every original idea I make just flops. I've seen some of my fav editors switch to non-edits or post less eg. qaluo does a lot of "my friends sing ___" instead of edits now, Cutecookiegaming switched to making brookhaven skits, while other editors like Darkkhayden, Softastigal, futureneverlands just started posting less frequently. I think all of this is just making a lot of the editing community lose motivation... I joined the editing community in 2021, and I gotta say it has def become a lot more toxic and unoriginal. The fact that most famous editors use after effects to make those cool edits just makes me wonder if it's even possible to get that popular without it... After Effects is so expensive idk if a lot of us editors can afford to pay that much per month. If you ask me, I don't think the roblox editing community can go back to what it was like it 2021. Peaceful and understanding? When we have all this...? It's sad to see it in this state :(

@@CakePopKate Ik there's some editors like CHDX or Daniel Edits who are rlly good at making capcut/alight motion edits but from what I can see, majority of the popular editors use after effects (qaluo, cutecookiegaming, vkvnzo, futureneverlands, jxeycharmxo etc.) It's still very discouraging to know that most of your fav editors you look up to use after effects while the average editor can't and I just wished we had more popular editors who edit with some other software to be an inspiration to the roblox editing community

I agree with EVERY SINGLE point brought up in this video. Especially the gate keeping which app you should use. “Oh U uSe ImOvIe? ArE yOu FiVe?” is a reply I get a lot. Just because I use iMovie, doesn’t mean I’m “fIvE” or “StUpId.” I just use it because it’s the one I chose and NO ONE will change that fact. Sorry for the rant, I just felt like venting it all.
I outrageously hate tiktok *(cuz for the memes)* But i saw one friend doing them and a YT called Nicole Kimmi and... i started to somehow tolerate this RUclips's format of videos But.... I'm now kind of hating that even some emotes are being overused with the same song. *(Looking at you Poppy)* 😒 I Just saw 1 person using another style and music with that Emote.
Hi! i’m star ^^ i have been making roblox edits for a while now and i enjoy making edits and i think i’m an underrated editor, i am looking for some people to collaborate with and i’d love for us to get to know each over! my hobbies are editing, roblox, drawing, and (pretending to make) vlogs. Now i don’t really know what to say but i 100% agree with this, here are 2 reasons why the community is dying, 1) capcut templates 2) the same answer as number 1 the reason for this is MAKE YOUR OWN EDITS, it’s not fair for us underated editors to sit there trying to go viral so others can enjoy and showcase their work just for someone to sit there and take a minute adding photos to a template, ITS NOT FAIR, anyways reply if you want to collaborate because uhh yeah ;>

Don't give up your passion! Just because school is in the way. You can make time to do editing even if it's 10minutes of spare time you can turn that 10mins into an edit in the span of four days. Hi, I’m Doyaru, a beginning editor, I’m a new Roblox editor and I’ve come to notice that this community is dying. I love this community by heart and wants to save it. Many famous editors such as Qaluo (this is NOT hate, she is AMAZING!) are moving towards content that is requires less editing, such as Qaluo’s “my friends sing…..” series, it is an amazing series, but as an editor myself, I feel less attracted to these content and for me it doesn’t feel right, (it might for other people, I’m probably just a weirdo.) And the thing is, many famous editors(I’ll say this again, this is NOT hate, they’re truly amazing ppl) are editing less, maybe because the community is dying or such things, and I want to state here that I do understand that they might just be going through a hard time in their lives and wants to let go for a while. But I really feel like that this community is missing something, and I think that one thing is, everyone is trying to go against each other, possibly to be the “editor.” But there is no such thing, as “the editor” so I think that what we need to do is work together instead of being really competitive against each other. So I am wondering if any editor would be interested in doing an event where we all edit together and post weekly for just over the Christmas season for fun and to bring this community back to life. (I’m taking a little break off of RUclips right now so I can’t really do the event right now, but maybe later into next year)

As a roblox editor. The main reasons why people are quitting are:
People are becoming old, for example, many creators such as b3eleyy and sunvrise (haley) are becoming adults and are moving on with their life. The revenue from the roblox edits can be really good but also unsustainable and unlivable. For example, i was making $#### in a month then moved to almost 2.5% of that the next month.
About Piinkblinks video example, longforms are differnet to shortform. People have been makjing longform videos for a while like that. The quality of edits are always improving, yes creativity has gone down and there are less creativeness but peopel are always improving.
Another reason people quit is because its so unmotivating posting ane dit that has taken 6 hours, then either your pc crashing before render or the video flopping.
The editing community can only be saved if the creativness returns and there are more trends unlike the same trends everyday and boosting creators posts as much as possible, by liking their videos and engaging with it.
This isn't meant to cause hate to anyone, just clearing things up :33

I could not agree more with everything you said in this video. I’ve been on RUclips for around 3 ish years now and I’m on the verge of quitting because the editing community is just so so dead we see no new unique content creators blowing up anymore and most typography and advanced edits getting less and less views. The only things blowing up are either catalog or trends that all have the same elements: same avatars, songs, certain quality and even editing software. If you don’t edit with after effects, don’t wear a specific style or have a certain quality then your edit will simply flop. Also the “preppy” editing community is on the verge of completely dying. EVERY single preppy editor has either quit or just never posted again. I’m not sure what to do now i find it so unmotivating.
I think the biggest reason for comunity dieing is beacuse that most of people are getting older are are busy as getting older and older, the editing especialy with roblox is getting bored to them and tho us, The famous editors who are less and less posting are most unlikely to start an trend now days, and people with good ideas cant really start a trend cuz most of them arent really popular. With all the hate and stuff I mainly think that these are the reasons comunity is dieing.
Before I had my YT channel, I used to make edits for fun (I started editing in like summer of 2023) and I still didn’t quit!
💚Popular ‘editors’ that do catalog videos ARENT editors anymore tbh, they should NOT be considered editors anymore if theyre not doing editing.
Instead, find small creators and we should make them popular instead! With making new popular editors the community will grow substantially.

I totally agree with what you said. We can see our editing community dying slowly and its not okay. I find it annoying how editors like: luhvbott, has 1 million. her edits now are kinda bad, and she doesnt really show effort, and editors like piinkblinks used to be a 2021 icon and a 2022 editing icon. now all she does is catalog edits, and there not good. as a person with 3k subs who takes LOTS of time to edit, i just get nothing for it. i can post the BEST edit and ill get nothing for it. I agree too I make roblox edits and RUclips is unfair💀 I make good quality roblox edits and the other ppl like or a little kid adding no effort to there vids! They get so many views, likes, and comments I get views like 1K views to 17K views and that’s not fair if you add no effort to vids and get a 100k or 500k views or more…BUT I’m still really grateful for my views subs and likes that I’m getting! The one prob abt the vid is you have to try to look into why they have the same avatars? whats in their head while making trends ? Why they are hating? Why do we like pro's more than beginners? That kind of stuff and your vid will be perfect
I Just started editing because about 2 years ago I ALWAYS wanted to be like qualo with her amazing edits! Im a mm2 player and i was like often trying to make avatars that matched the mm2 creators but then a few weeks ago i decided to find my own self and i made a outfit im very proud of and now im making new vids with it. Also i think editors are hetting bored of editing in like dances and things and most of them r moving on to mm2. I love mm2 but i feel like we need more young hearts to move along in the editing community. I was once an editor, I quit due to the lack of views and trends to do, there are no more ideas and the editors now move onto mm2 edits, gen is slowly starting to make less ttd3 edits and we only have qaluo and geniev12 still going keeping the community alive.

As a beginner for Roblox editing, I appreciate this video so much! And yes it is true that people r getting braver and braver for commenting hate comments instead of encouraging beginners to keep editing and make them feel good. Different people have different feelings, some people are very sensitive with them so if even maybe just 1 hate comment they can actually quit, especially for the beginners. As well for popular editors got lots and lots of hate comment too but they have alot more supporters than haters so supporters will back them up! So in my POV, haters will stop commenting hates on popular RUclipsrs. Instead, they will comment on unpopular or beginner RUclipsr to make them feel bad or whatever. So maybe next time if you scroll through a an edit with lots of hate, either comment a nice comment or back them up like what Kate said!

I absolutely agree on this, as u can see my pfp is a "GFX" I'm trying to make a new editing Roblox channel :) sometimes I go to yt and search for some Roblox edit ideas so I could get used to the Roblox editing community, and every single time there's the same videos, sometimes I search editing videos ideas Roblox and the same videos appear, sometimes it's kinda annoying to new Roblox editors including me, i have been tying to make creative roblox edits since a couple months but idnt have he opportunity since i couldn't rly et used to capcut, nowim making my firt edit :D an its rly confusing but im sure ill get used to it someday i hope i can make the editing roblox community a little bit bigger now :D
for me, i think people are just getting older. the roblox editing community started around in 2020 or 2021, and that was when no one cpuld go out anf have vacations or hangouts because of corona. as for entertainment and something to do, people started making roblox edits. and even when corona stopped spreading easuly, people continued because of the money and enjoyment. but i guess they started getting older and left editing. some communities just die at some point, and sometimes we cant do anything about it.
I agree with this all and i mean EVERYTHING. But i would like to add another reason the community is dying. Capcut templates, a lot of editors will use capcut templates and say they made it. And yes i understand i did post a capcut template(a kahoot one) i put it in the title and in my comment it was a template i posted it because i lost motivation for 2 weeks and i didnt feel motivated so i just did that. I got some nice comments and it made me feel motivated again. But capcut templetes need to be stopped.
Your really sweet for making this video! It’s actually so true honestly I feel like not using trending audios and putting in a lot of effort in a video is waste because it never seems to get views and that’s why a lot of my favourite edits have been deleted, not many views, lots of hate, ect. The hate makes my feel so horrible I mean all I do 24/7 on my channel is deleting comments, I get dms and emails from random strangers and creeps telling me horrible things I mean it goes to the point where they use abusive language. Just like you think I hate using same audios and repeating trends but it’s all that ever seems to get appreciation and views and especially mm2 content. In my opinion mm2 content is lazy but it gets so many views and likes and it’s sad to see all my influencer friends to switch to that… it’s nice to know that there are people out there that understand

Hello Kate. As a roblox editor, I did realise this happening. The repetitive part I’ve seen by one of my friends. She uses the same song and avatar constantly which I now find pretty boring. As an editor i can officially say that the youtube algorithm doesnt push out roblox edits like they used to. All of acctualy good edits are from extremely underatted editors.
as a roblox editor, I completly agree with you and I also (kinda) have a problem with the "nothings new" trend (the ones that are saying the editing community is dying). so if you have apperently never heard of the nothings new trend (roblox editing community style thing idk) its basically where ppl say things like "the roblox editing community is DYING" or something like that while dancing in the background along to the music (itd be easier if you just search it up because im bad at explaining). the problem I have with it is that saying that the editing community is dying isnt gonna do anything, it just makes the situation worse and worse because ppl think the community is already dead so editors will just quit anyway

another reason I think why the community is so toxic now is we have a new generation, kids/teens half of them are just trying to life their life while the other half is just trying to be cool. they think hating is cool so they do it, another reason is most of our popular editors are only posting every few months, most of these people are 13+ so it makes sense they wouldn’t have time to post, some just want a break. everyone does the same trend and it’s not fun anymore people don’t use their creativity as much as people used to back in 2020-2022. it’s also because people think Roblox is for kids not for teens and adults, but it’s not we have older RUclipsrs but that’s the Roblox community not the editing community so really it’s mostly the hate and toxicity our society has become.

I agree with these reasons a lot! I’m a partial editor, and I think we still have a chance to revive it before the community gets anymore toxic. And a lot of editors are starting to get their videos reposted like paradise Rosie without any consent. They use the excuse; ‘I’m just spreading awareness how good she is’ when they are clearly just taking all the attention away from the original creator. And here are some of my tips that might help revive the editing community!
1. Like u said stay positive!
If people start getting a bunch of support, they can soon slowly gain confidence and motivation to keep going and producing amazing edits!
2. Try to post some of your own!
This can really save the editing community if more people start joining!
3. Keep ur vids as high quality as u can make them!
High quality is very important to prevent hate and boredom of other viewers, therefore can really help the community :)
4. Keep yourself motivated!
Motivation is super important to keep posting positive and productive content and edits, and can inspire others to do the same and soon revive this community!!
5. Post as much as you can!
Posting a bit consistently can help not only your channel but the entire community! But some creators get really disorganized, so instead you can set up a posting schedule:)

i do edits on Roblox (laggy and bad quality ones) (: and i gained 2k subs but i quit making videos/Roblox all together Abt a few weeks ago. No body really watch Roblox edits anymore and it's now more of the "Irl to Roblox trends" I don't have a problem with those, in-fact I use to do those videos. But I miss the Roblox editing community and it just got boring. Roblox items have beeN REALLY expensive lately and the face items from 15 to 100 & 95 Robux is crazy... I really hope this works because it's sad to see it "dying". It's also been around for quite some time.
I’m actually a small Roblox yt myself and I came when multiple ppl said the Roblox community is dying aka the editors, I felt I should still continue my work bc I have fun. I have 1 hater but I tend to ignore him, I still am a toblox yt and ik finding views is hard and my hardest edits I work on get like poor vies but the least amount of work gets heaps like I got 52k somthing on a basic edit lol it’s alg and I thank them for the views but it’s still hard the stuff I work on gets let’s veiws lol. Anyways this is way to long but ya if ur a small roblox yt always keep going!

There are two different types of saying bad stuff abt a edit 1.:if u say it to hurt them like *lol this is trash💀* but if u keep saying *omg this is so good * even when it’s bad they will start to think it’s actually good and they will never improve, u can say what They could improve like *try adding velocity, use masking and other things
Most of the content creators who used to create edits now basically choose to be lazy and do random ass video on free items and clickbaits with a text to speech voice and no efforts at all. Literally 2/3 of the video would be them asking to subscribe and like. for eg:- "I bet you can't subscribe before this bacon flies away"

As a Roblox editor since 2021, its honestly really sad. The community in 2021-2022 was amazing! I made so many friends and memories. This year ive managed to get heaps of subs and also get way better at editing. Seeing my childhood just die, its making me unmotivated. I got interest in the show total drama and made a channel called ‘LuhvLindsay’ and that channel BLEW UP. in just a few weeks. And by then I just gave up on this channel. My edits on the LuhvLindsay acc were pretty simple, but gained more views in one video than I have in general on this channel. But spending HOURS on edits for this channel jsut got me a few views. And now thats why my channel is pretty dead. Im trying to revive it and I hope we can get the community back in 2024. Merry Christmas and happy new year xx

I wanna edit Roblox again,sadly I have strict parents and my mom doesn’t let me get Roblox;( but I’ll try my best.

I don’t usually get hate comments because my comment section is always off by RUclips… But in school everyone calls me cringe (well not my best friend ofc) I don’t really mind tho.
As a Roblox editor I can say that this is true. And I feel like all of the original edits have only a few likes and the less creative ones end up on the fyp. and sometimes I'm pressured to do trends that I don't like just to gain followers and stuff. but most of all THE HATE COMMENTS, ppl are so mean on my videos and other people's videos, and it's getting out of hand. I know a 6/yo editor who has gotten threats in her comment section like: "delete this or I'll come to your house" and stuff like that. I just feel like the editing community on Roblox used to be so much better and now I'm even thinking of quitting. 😔
I agree on this sm. I'm one of the ppl that have quit, I've moved on from the roblox editing community (now in the dragon puppets community).
I think it's more of bc I haven't been motivated, like you said, the trends that blow up are all the same, every original idea I make just flops.
I've seen some of my fav editors switch to non-edits or post less eg. qaluo does a lot of "my friends sing ___" instead of edits now, Cutecookiegaming switched to making brookhaven skits, while other editors like Darkkhayden, Softastigal, futureneverlands just started posting less frequently.
I think all of this is just making a lot of the editing community lose motivation... I joined the editing community in 2021, and I gotta say it has def become a lot more toxic and unoriginal.
The fact that most famous editors use after effects to make those cool edits just makes me wonder if it's even possible to get that popular without it... After Effects is so expensive idk if a lot of us editors can afford to pay that much per month.
If you ask me, I don't think the roblox editing community can go back to what it was like it 2021. Peaceful and understanding? When we have all this...? It's sad to see it in this state :(
Hey! So abt the after effects thing, there was this famous yt named KatsHaven who used CapCut! She was doing very well but then got hacked :(
@@mw1ntxyy I use Ae for my edits and I still hate that trend! (I used to use CapCut for my edits and still use it for my long form videos) It’s so offensive to actual CapCut editors!
@@CakePopKate Ik there's some editors like CHDX or Daniel Edits who are rlly good at making capcut/alight motion edits but from what I can see, majority of the popular editors use after effects (qaluo, cutecookiegaming, vkvnzo, futureneverlands, jxeycharmxo etc.) It's still very discouraging to know that most of your fav editors you look up to use after effects while the average editor can't and I just wished we had more popular editors who edit with some other software to be an inspiration to the roblox editing community
I don’t mind hates, i just hate the fact people quit becuz of rude and bad people, i’m a new generation to make edits, i’ll try to bring back the good old edit we had.
I agree with EVERY SINGLE point brought up in this video. Especially the gate keeping which app you should use. “Oh U uSe ImOvIe? ArE yOu FiVe?” is a reply I get a lot. Just because I use iMovie, doesn’t mean I’m “fIvE” or “StUpId.” I just use it because it’s the one I chose and NO ONE will change that fact. Sorry for the rant, I just felt like venting it all.
I've been around since 2021 and this is a very well thought out video and has really well proven points

I outrageously hate tiktok *(cuz for the memes)* But i saw one friend doing them and a YT called Nicole Kimmi and... i started to somehow tolerate this RUclips's format of videos But.... I'm now kind of hating that even some emotes are being overused with the same song. *(Looking at you Poppy)* 😒
I Just saw 1 person using another style and music with that Emote.

Hi! i’m star ^^ i have been making roblox edits for a while now and i enjoy making edits and i think i’m an underrated editor, i am looking for some people to collaborate with and i’d love for us to get to know each over! my hobbies are editing, roblox, drawing, and (pretending to make) vlogs. Now i don’t really know what to say but i 100% agree with this, here are 2 reasons why the community is dying,
1) capcut templates
2) the same answer as number 1
the reason for this is MAKE YOUR OWN EDITS, it’s not fair for us underated editors to sit there trying to go viral so others can enjoy and showcase their work just for someone to sit there and take a minute adding photos to a template, ITS NOT FAIR, anyways reply if you want to collaborate because uhh yeah ;>
