I guess it’s just me. I NEVER use the mirror in makeup compacts because they get so dirty and they’re so small and awkward they’re practically useless. But I hear people so frequently talking about mirrors in compacts being such a selling point. 🤷♀️
I will very occasionally use the one in a powder if it’s the one I keep in my bag and I’d say I’ve probably done that 5 times in my whole life when I’ve topped up my powder on the train or at my desk and for some reason not gone to a bathroom.
For best results, buff powder foundation in the skin using a soft, densely packed brush. I will typically pat the powder on my skin, then go back in with powder on the brush and buff it in. This warms it up, melting it into the skin, filling the pores, AND creates that creamy, beautiful finish we all want. Just try it. You'll be amazed.

For anyone needing the Loreal one, drugstores in my area have them in stock IN STORE, but not online. So check your local Walgreens, CVS, Ulta, Target, Walmart, etc. :)
I randomly found the L’Oréal one in Target a couple of weeks ago, even though it said it was sold out online. As I was walking away, a couple of early teen girls walked up and said “oh my god that’s the foundation from Tik Tok” and they each bought 3. That’s why you can’t find it. Just to add something the Fenty one has much better ingredientes for acne prone skin (also fungal acne) . The L’Oréal one has some ingredients bad for oily skin and several allergens . So if you are acne prone or have very sensitive skin I will use the Fenty one :)
They both look great on you. It’s a shame L’Oréal doesn’t have more shades. But when I researched, Fenty and L’Oréal are owned by the same parent company. That my be why they match so well. Same formula, just different price points....🤷🏼♀️

I used to wear nothing but a powdered foundation from age 18- about 40. I used the Clinique Doublewear exclusively. I then switched to Bare Minerals powder and am now only using liquid. So needless to say I am excited to see how the L'Oreal one performs on my aging skin!
Been seeking out small moments of joy these last few days with the violence that's been on the news. Thank you for this respite and thank you for being you. I never miss any of your vids!
Funny I’m wearing the Fenty one as I watch this video. It looks really good over the super goop glow screen btw. I got the shade 120 which is like a fair neutral tone. I usually go for cool tones but this seemed like the right one for me and it looks perfect. I think that shade could work for you too.
I think this one was a bit too yellow. I mean it would definitely work - once ready of the rest of her makeup is done it'll be probably undetectable. Still, a true neutral would be perfect for Jess.
I absolutely love the L’Oréal age perfect creamy foundation powder - but I’m soo disappointed they don’t have as many shades. I’m fairer and the lightest shade is just a bit too dark for me... maybe this summer. But it’s sooo good!
Love the new graphics with detail. I fell into the hype of the L'oreal product. However, I could not find a color match. I wish more brands would mimic Fenty with all shades the same in products across their brand. Also, all of my CVS stores had a good display/stock of all colors of this L'oreal powder.
It's extraordinary This is coming from someone who has used many powder foundations over 30 years. I found that I had to go down a shade from the liquid for Fenty but I love it. The L’Oréal looked like powder all day for me, it never looked right. I have dry 46 year old skin and the Fenty worked the best.
I am going to pick up the Fenty Beauty for Summer. I like a light coverage. My skin is dehydrated in the winter and moves to combination in the warmer months. I apply it with the Tarte airbrush finish bamboo foundation brush. I have an olive undertone and the Fenty has an olive undertone.

I tried both Missha and Purito and found myself loving them both!! Please please please continue with these types of videos because I love getting a good dose of “ nerdy notes” they bring joy to my day!! Take care hon 💕
There’s been a HUGE controversy around the SPF rating of Purito’s products. Please do your research on this before you buy it if your intention is to use it as a sunscreen product. (No shade to Purito. It sounds like the lab formulating the sunscreen wasn’t truthful about the rating! 😬). Also, bc I feel so inclined to mention (especially after recent events) this is NOT a moratorium on all Korean sunscreens! It’s a shady lab which can happen anywhere!
I love your video's! Do you have tips for a nose that doesn't take any make-up? My foundation never stays on my nose, not even with powder and I don't know what to do :(
I have the same issue in the summer, i just apply some of the elf primer that comes in the shallow jar and is solid. Apply it with a brush or fingers to my nose and it works for me. ❤

I have used the L’Oréal powder foundation I’ve new one you were testing today as to wear it to go out and do errands and I have also put it over my foundation. (If that makes sense) but I like both.
The Fenty seems to make the face look more airbrushed, less makeup-y, though, at least watching from here. Maybe it’s not that noticeable, in person. Might not make that much of a difference, in the end. Thanks for your videos! They’re great! 😊
now that spring is here and more of us are thinking about self tanning I am curious if you have tried Baiden Mitten Superior Exfoliator . it is honestly the best exfoliator glove I have ever used. I got the Fenty powder in shade 120- and we are usually same shade in foundations- I love it! Haven’t tried the L’Oréal one yet, but probably will try it eventually
The more mature my skin gets, the more I realize I want a glowy finish. And the more I’m embracing aquaphor for dewy highlight spots. Just lil dots of aquaphor where I want a “healthy glow”.
I'm the opposite. The older I get the more I can't wear glowy or dewy foundations. Satin/natural finish look best. If it's dewy it emphasizes texture and fine lines.
@@christyfielding7498 oh, I’ve cut WAY back on foundation. Rarely wear it at all. Little concealer for under eye business, maybe a blemish to cover...mmmm, mmmm, nope. Can’t do the cakey. Mama’s a hot mess if I do a full face anymore. Cream products mostly, except for a bit of setting powder in m’t-zone and very very light under eye. Done.
Am I the only one that thought that she was Already wearing foundation? Damn girl have you got some gorgeous skin! Thanks for doing the research for us. I know that personally, I would rather save up and get the cruelty free option. Thanks Jessica, hope you are having a lovely day :)
I've tried both ...with a mask for like 11-12 hours with 1 touch up. I used concealer underneath and at the end of the day the fenty looked much better, stayed on and less cakey. The loreal one made weird patches around the touch up areas with the concealer or patches came off more. I wish the loreal worked for me but maybe without a mask would be better.
I would rather more dupes in a video instead of only 1. Although I will watch and love any video of yours. I do really like when you get to work on those dupes🤣💖❤🧡😘💚💙💝💛😘👸
Great video, thank you!! I will say I think the Fenty in natural light looked better blended to me, especially on the cheeks. The L’Oreal is definitely almost the same, though, and this is just me being nitpicky. I want to try the L’Oreal one now!
OK but your skin looks phenomenal without any foundation on 😍😭. This would cling to every dry patch on my T zone.... but I love how these look on you. I wish my skin would not be acting out as much as it currently does 😒

I have both the new L’Oréal Infallible powder (could only find 120 Vanilla which turned out to be perfect) and the Age Perfect and love them both. Thanks for how thorough you are with your testing. It is appreciated!
I’m so happy I love your videos they are such a treat for me when you do dupes!!!! And drugstore or speed reviews!!!! I feel spoiled lol 🥰🥰
Would you say they compare to the Jcat Aquasurance powder foundation? I have combo skin and get super oily with that one 🥺
I have oily skin and after reading ur comment I decide J cat is out of the question
think I might’ve begun going a lil deaf 😂. I had to go back a couple times, you were saying magnifying and all I heard was mathmafying for some reason ….even, tho that’s not a real word…..(it’s not l double checked… )
Love watching your videos! Especially that vlogs! 💚🩷😂❤️
I got the Fenty powder in shade 120- and we are usually same shade in foundations- I love it! Haven’t tried the L’Oréal one yet, but probably will try it eventually
I am always going to pay the extra for products not tested on animals for beauty. Great comparison ❤️
Me too. I’m glad someone mentioned it! ♥️
Done.
Hello Jessica😊 I love this video and even you giving another option for the satin version of powder. Have a great day
You make the best videos and love your personality❤️
Am I the only one that thought that she was Already wearing foundation? Damn girl have you got some gorgeous skin! Thanks for doing the research for us. I know that personally, I would rather save up and get the cruelty free option. Thanks Jessica, hope you are having a lovely day :)
Thanks for doing this video!! Also what do you use to edit your videos!??
I've tried both ...with a mask for like 11-12 hours with 1 touch up. I used concealer underneath and at the end of the day the fenty looked much better, stayed on and less cakey. The loreal one made weird patches around the touch up areas with the concealer or patches came off more. I wish the loreal worked for me but maybe without a mask would be better.
Thanks for the dupe. Trying L’Oréal for a quick makeup run. Love ❤️ your channel, girl!!!
I knew this was a dupe...I've been waiting to see a video!!!
I have been using the Loreal over BB cream and so far I like it. Not sure if I would like it on its own.
OK but your skin looks phenomenal without any foundation on 😍😭. This would cling to every dry patch on my T zone.... but I love how these look on you. I wish my skin would not be acting out as much as it currently does 😒
Never applied my powder foundation like that. I use the makeup for ever one and just press/roll it into the skin with the sponge it comes with. Then I lightly sweep my big powder brush over to blend out
