Man, I wish we had these building codes in the US. The 4” exterior walls alone would be enough to shut a job down. Good job!
Made my day a lot better hahaha do a tralier and ute set up vid
My grandfather was a builder... He would just have a huge pile of hardwood delivered and build the frames by hand. He build about 200 homes in a whats now quiet large country town in NSW.
G,day from Sydney.
Thank you for demonstrating your skills doing your job. The pre-cut frame, space allocated and construction site seemed limited.
Standing of the walls and roof frame was, professional: while managing carpenters and deliveries all at the same time.
Learning outcomes from this video-
1. Accurate frame numbers on concrete slab (cannot be removed by rain).
2. Position and stacking of frames and trusses (near final location).
3. Air hoses, ladders and leads, not causing hazardous manual handling problems.
4. Clear communication for special cutting such as noggins, trimmers and bracing.
Theoretical knowledge of square, straight, parallel and plumb are all qualities of being a framing carpenter.

I've been binging your videos like crazy mate! I'm soon to start my apprenticeship so all this has helped tremendously. Cheers brother!
How’s it gone
Beautiful to cover those roof!! In Canada we are covering roofs 12/12, 12/14.
Good job bro💪💪💪
Really good video. Can see your channel has lots of similar looking ones, probably going to binge them all.
I'm thinking of starting a 10 week carpentry pre-apprenticeship course because I'm really interested in construction, and trades in general really.
Wondering if you have any advice as an experienced carpenter? Maybe you could make a video out of it lol.
my advice as a second yr carpenter, go be a electrition
Aye really love watching your videos brother really learning a lot and how carpenters work, keep up the good work and post more like this brother reallly enjoying this 🔥🔥🔥👍🏾🤝🏾🤙🏾💪🏾
Hello there!! new subscribers here from Mindanao Philippines.
Good to see working with punjabi boys mate👍👍👍
Jack, why can not see setout line and check square?
Nice video mate.
Pretty weird seeing windows go in so early. We always put them in once the roof sheets are on in tassie.
Good shit, not long started an apprenticeship and we have be doing pre fab. I was shocked at how quick they go up!
Try to learn stick build too mate.
@@MrDeano-eu9rg I want to, I worked in a framing factory before I started so I have an idea but want to do it on-site too
@@belligerent9082 same here.
@@belligerent9082 where are you located ?
@@crispbuilding5796 I'm in Port Stephens near Newcastle, that builder ended up stitching me up and hired a 16 year old because they were cheaper 😪
Cool trade bros
Amazing work
Beast Mode! Fuggin animals! Good work as always
I'm a framer from Sydney
Running air nailing frames together slows you right down
I noticed you boys do things a little different
That young fulla in the fishing shirt don’t look too comfortable walking around on the top plates 🤣 get into it son
Awesome work lad, well done!
is it reasonably easy to find job in Australia as carpenter?
Great video mate, keep em coming 👍
They are very light external frames and how do you anchor them down .
Do you tend to get alot of splinters working with the wood or would you say its quite rare?
Wow nice....I got some adea.
Yay, more flammable houses!
Why the bottom plates are not pressure treated? They will decay over time. It’s not up to code in
Canada.
Good thing this isn’t in Canada then mate 👍🏻
Good day when ya upload
No double top plates on the load bearing walls ???!?!
Nah mate, engineerings pretty fast an loose of theses little boxes
If trusses fall directly over studs no need for ribbon plates
how heavy are these frames ?
Have you broken an apple watch yet? thinking of getting one but i think i will break on when im on site.
Nah not yet haha
No site saftey builders standing on top of a 6 step ladder . No hardhats when using crane , no fall nets
I like work interior go to australia😅
I can’t see the leveler mate
Why isn’t the bottom plate green or am I trippin? White pine to concrete can’t be good, maybe y’all got a membrane an we can’t see idk
Yellow pine**
Earnt a sub
Hey mate
I’m looking for a first year apprenticeship. Please let me know if you’re looking for one.
What’s the pay like as a carpenter apprentice
Shit I have been doing a year I almost a second year now and I dont know why I didn’t stop when I knew this wasn’t for me but its apprentice wages so its shit
Only 2 more years and you'll make bank. How's it going atm?
Great video bro but remind your superhero mate not to talk down to apprentices. I recently finished my qualification in Melbourne….and it may not look like it effects them at the time but believe me it does.
Whats that senco gun that shoots engineered nails?
Yeh it dose, there positive placement gun mate
When you add a dwang into a wall, you create a thermal bridge that lets more heat escape. You get no significant improvement to the structural performance of the wall. The acoustics are worse.
Nice advertising for mpt
You trying to do 1 day knock like carpentry kid
hahaha
does your company accept females?
This isn’t real framing.
It’s still framing
Chippys today are carpenters they are just installers
That’s a load of shit we could build the frames and the trusses faster and cleaner then the factory but you make money way faster doing pre fab frames 6-7k per single frame depending on sqm and any decent crew can throw one up a day a good crew can do 2 it’s all about the money 💰
can i please do work experience with you
weak
