I tried the game on Ryzen 7 3800x+RX 7800xt and practically as soon as I arrived in the city I found myself dropping to 30 fps or even less and the GPU is used at 80-70%, is it possible it's the CPU? in fact I'm considering switching to a 5800 x3d
Yeah, the game is very CPU heavy, especially in the open-world. A 5800X3D would be a great pairing with that GPU, not just for this game, but it should help in many others too.
Very bottleneck. Another poorly optimized game. Your CPU is reasonable for this GPU. The problem is in the optimization of the game, I think, unfortunately.
Yeah, agree 100%. Tested the 4070 in the 14600K DDR5 6400 system and while.it was faster, it was still heavily bottlenecked, even at 4K Medium Native. I havent dug too deep but it seems as if a single thread is being abused while the rest stands idly by 🤣
Yeah, when there are only a few ray tracing options the Radeon GPUs can keep up very well. In this case the game only uses RT reflections, so it's not too heavy on the GPU. The CPU takes a beating though 😔
The 4070 Ti is quite a bit faster than the 7800 XT in this game. The normal 4070 is faster in some configurations as well. These are the 3 GPUs I test the most.

Rx 7800 xt is much cheaper from rtx 4070 ti and same fps and 7800 xt 16gb vram

Oh yeah, for sure, it's a great GPU. This game is just very heavy on the CPU. In other, more optimized games the 7800 XT is a great GPU!
