When you make thicker patties, put a deep thumb print in the middle. It keeps them from puffing way up.

Thanks for sharing the video. It's good to see what all is going on. Wesley is doing a good job with the leather. Austin is roping and throwing seven like she is a professional. Lawrence is getting ready for hay season. Gotta have air in a cab tractor. I know you have hay on the ground now. Good luck getting it made. Hope to cut mine after the middle of next week in central Virginia.

Has Wes considered using the upper leather from old worn out boots as part of leather projects? By the uppers, I am meaning the part that stands upright along the wearers legs. That leather can be used as backing on some projects rather than buying new smooth leather,,,,if the back side is not going to be seen. It is very easy to see thathe has a great amount of talent as well as an endless amount of ideas for different handy projects.

Highly recommend O'Keeffe's Working Hands Hand Cream. As a young child back in early 80s I spent all day with my uncle doing tractor therapy :) Turning hay all day long. I was sitting on a bare fender. It was a big mistake. I couldn't sit for 5 days after that. Back in those days growing up in central Europe was great. Berlin Wall came down and changed everything
