It seems Wesley and Austin are venturing out doing their own thing a bit more than you’re probably ready for. Wesley driving and in school and Austin riding horses by herself. Lawrence don’t mess around when he’s cutting hay. Meredith I think it’s very touching the way you enjoy holding on to your mom and granny’s recipe memories. Please hold on to the old times as much as you can because soon enough I fear we’ll all be singing Are The Good Times Really Over For Good.? Always be safe and enjoy y’all’s time together as a family doing just whatever! I’m Praying Gods Blessings For Y’all Bernard Family 👋👋🙏🙏🇺🇸. Gloria
Great day to visit with y’all, of course I’m watching your video. Did you ever get the calf? I’m worried about the calf. 😊 I know that his momma is calling him, just wanted to know if he was back. I really enjoy seeing Wes and Austin. I hope y’all had a great time today (Saturday) with the horses and visiting with your friends. Til next time, thank you for your time to share cooking all the good things.
Good evening Merdie and Family Hope y’all’s weekend is going well ❤ Horses looking good for the show and good luck y’all if you’re competing 🙏🙏🙏 Unloaded in Kentucky and now in Dallas Ft.Worth to unload on Monday 😊 Y’all take care Always 🤠❤️😘 Love Y’all
My Pimento Cheese: shred a half a block of Velveeta (freeze it first to make it easier to grate), add a well drained jar of CHOPPED pimentos, add sweet pickle relish, enough mayo to make it the consistency you desire (not too much), mix well, sprinkle a dab of sugar on top and mix. Very simple. This was my Mother's recipe, but I discovered it was a very common one. I tried, just to be doing it, a number of recipes found on the internet and none measured up. Makes great grilled pimento cheese sandwiches, too!
Looks like Lawrence has torn rotator cuffs, I realized this when he tried to pitch that hay bale , I have both of them torn and the recovery time takes too long to get it fixed, I feel for him because not only does it hurt like heck but it limits what you can do. I’m debating if I should just get it fixed or not.
Ive had three rotator cuff surgeries since1999 and its not fun. I tore them again a year and a half ago and at 64 I'm not doing the surgery again. It's up to each individual but not for me this time.
I remember bailing hay and straw for my neighbor who supplied loads going to Lexington, Ky from west central Ohio. I earned 1 dollar an hour at 14 and 1.25 at 15 years old. It helped pay for my first car. One of the drivers hauling the hay to Kentucky always used 2 hay hooks to handle the bales. Us kids were curious and we started using 2 and never went back. I know its weird, I just felt like sharing that. I was born in 1950
Part of your farm reminds me of our old farm. Our farm was along the loyalhanna river flood control for Pittsburgh. Never failed get a good crop we'd get a big rain and flood it out or cow's would be on wrong side when they needed to be milked. Frustrating. Take care god bless.
Love your videos. I would like to share how I mix my pimento cheese spread. When using a mixer use the bread beater to mix. This works best. If you use the wire beater it will make a big clump and a big mess
Try roasted red peppers... It's great in pimento cheese. It's always great when you're tasting your food. And smiling about it. But if you're making something that you're sharing. With people you don't even know. It's always necessary to use it tasting spoon or fork you're never go back in your food with it the one you tasted with..
Tajin goes awesome sprinkled on Watermelon, pineapple and my fav. Mangoes 🥭 not bad on tater salad either. I use mine mainly for above mentioned fruits !
Thank you for sharing. Appreciate the video and your thoughts and experience. Stay safe, healthy, strong and successful. Blessings and prayers for you and family in Jesus's Mighty Name. ☝🙏🙌💪👊
so the 100 dollar question is did you get the calf back on the right side of the fence??? LOL thanks for sharing & send some of that rain to us in southern Indiana, its dry here!!!
@@ThisFarmWife_ thanks. I don't understand, Why is it that every time I'm sad, I feel less sad when I see your thumbnail? Maybe seeing you smile happily, I am also transmitted to myself. Please keep smiling like that
How is Lawrence knee replacement been doing.? Does Lawrence have an hurt back also. Seeing him makes me think he has because I have a hurt back but also bad arthritis. We move a lot alike. Has the knee replacement help any with relieving the pain in his back? I had to retire due to worn out knees and have put off knee surgery thinking that it would not help my back pain so there's no need for that. I'm 73, and was wondering what Lawrence's age is. Thanks
If I were your child, raised as they have been on the farm, I would never leave and be so thankful my parents offered me a parcel of the land to build a house. At 84, I’ve lived long enough to say this. Of course they have to live their own lives.❤
WELL BEAUTIFUL LADY I DON'T THINK HUBBY IS GETTING TO OLD FOR THROWING BALES ITS THAT FABULOUS COOKING YOU DO LOL THAT IS AFFECTING HIS ABILITY TO PERFORM THAT JOB🤣
The way I was taught to make pimento cheese was: never drain the pimento, i used 2 large jars of pimento per pound of cheese and if it needed loosening up, add more mayo. Add black pepper and its done.
Thirty seconds in, and I have to say you flip eggs like a master!

Meredith, have you thought about using the remote mics so each family member, maybe not Lawrence, would be heard clearly. Thanks for what you do.

I never drain my pimentos. Just add a little more Dukes. I also add a little heat to my Pinmento
cheese.

Again, I ask, what did you do with the Mares you had? Sell them on the killer market?
