This saved me literally hundreds of dollars. I did the exact same thing but with one of those longer plastic tables. Also bolted some plywood on each end to get rid of the lip. Thanks!

Damn , just ordered a 36” wide kcrc but have been using a dbl sided with 2 door hinges and metal straps on the side . It’s been really good too but the ski slope ramp was needed . I ll still keep my homemade distance jumper

Actually went to ace and got a table for this very purpose noticed the angle was a little steep clicked on this video and i borrowed my neighbors hacksaw.facking good to go now bud appreciate it. You just gained a sub for this video alone

@@EastTactics So was this functional? Im gonna probably spend $80 on this Amazon table I see and it looks good. Its well built. www.amazon.com/Iceberg-65253-IndestrucTable-Classic-Platinum/dp/B08BMJY8C2 is it worth the money to buy this or just to buy a professional rc ramp?
Honestly, I don’t think the jump ramp style is worth $80. What I mean by the jump ramp style is that it’s not the most ideal angle of approach that you would get from a nice ramp that’s got Curvature Incorporated.
Because of the sharp angle the tables get beat up pretty quickly. Which is why if I break one I just end up finding another one at a D.I. or a secondhand store. Totally worth it if you’re spending five or $10 maybe even 15. But spending $80 on a nice table... For me it would be hard to swallow.
I would hate to see you spend that much on to rip a crack into it after A few hard Bash sessions.

I found that while in grass a threshold wasn't so much needed. One certainly would help for sure. i never ended up using one though.

🤔 keep yours eyes peeled. They pop up. Typically at second hand stores garage sales, etc.
No my brother that's not a good idea because you need a little curvature where the land meets the ramp because it damages hinge pins and shock s if you hit it going pretty fast
Gator RC Jack, You make a good point, however that’s why I reduced the angle quite a bit from its original length. If I’m hitting the ramp with the shorter legs there’s no issue at all. Changing over to the more steeper angle, Is definitely not as good as having a curved ramp don’t get me wrong that’s definitely the way to go. However most people don’t have the time or the money to build those fancy Ramps And while I agree, this isn’t a perfect solution it makes for the perfect ramp in your backyard where you’re not hitting it at breakneck speeds.
I definitely appreciate the heads up though.
