I’d like to dedicate this to one of my best friends Jorge Gonzalez who passed away 13 years ago today on March 23,2003 , serving in the US Military in Iraq. Being a longtime Pennywise fan and seeing them plenty of times over the years this song hits a special chord with me at every show. My friend is the first person I think about every time I’m at the show and I feel the energy of everyone singing along moshing around the pit. Back in 2017 I met somebody who would go on to be a great friend of mine. We were coworkers at a thrift store. We used to goof off and pull pranks on the staff. Wear the donated clothes and make costumes out of em just to make people laugh. We had so many good memories. For years I knew his health was declining but the day after this past Christmas I would never had imagined receiving a text saying that he has maybe 24 hours left in him. I called his younger brother and he gave me the permission to come to the hospital to see him one last time. The hospital was an hour drive away but I didn’t care. I needed to see him. I got there around 12:30 AM and h was hardly responsive. They said he could hear us talking and so I spoke to him and shared stories and whatnot. Around 1:15-1:20 in the morning some dude was out on a boat in the East River. For some reason he starts lighting off fireworks. We couldn’t figure out why but I just jokingly said “Ah they’re for Ethan”… shortly after at 1:25 AM my friend passed away right before my eyes. I’m so glad I got to spend those final moments with him and now I will never look at fireworks the same. To my brother Ethan, this one’s for you 🧡

My non blood brother and I grew up with Pennywise, as adults I moved hundreds of miles away, he suffered an accident and his body was lost in the Salinas river for about two years. His family hurt so bad during this time, at that point I had a chance to see pennywise for first time ever in Boise Idaho. I moshed harder than ever to bro hymn crying my eyes out for my brother and for recovery of his remains. The Next day I found out his remains were found. Back in 2017 I met somebody who would go on to be a great friend of mine. We were coworkers at a thrift store. We used to goof off and pull pranks on the staff. Wear the donated clothes and make costumes out of em just to make people laugh. We had so many good memories. For years I knew his health was declining but the day after this past Christmas I would never had imagined receiving a text saying that he has maybe 24 hours left in him. I called his younger brother and he gave me the permission to come to the hospital to see him one last time. The hospital was an hour drive away but I didn’t care. I needed to see him. I got there around 12:30 AM and h was hardly responsive. They said he could hear us talking and so I spoke to him and shared stories and whatnot. Around 1:15-1:20 in the morning some dude was out on a boat in the East River. For some reason he starts lighting off fireworks. We couldn’t figure out why but I just jokingly said “Ah they’re for Ethan”… shortly after at 1:25 AM my friend passed away right before my eyes. I’m so glad I got to spend those final moments with him and now I will never look at fireworks the same.

My non blood brother and I grew up with Pennywise, as adults I moved hundreds of miles away, he suffered an accident and his body was lost in the Salinas river for about two years. His family hurt so bad during this time, at that point I had a chance to see pennywise for first time ever in Boise Idaho. I moshed harder than ever to bro hymn crying my eyes out for my brother and for recovery of his remains.
The Next day I found out his remains were found. The night I moshed with him in spirit to Pennywise’s Bro Hymn.
