Might I suggest a layer of dried lentils or kidney beans to the bottom of your dining room hurricane vase, and then the ceramic pumpkin nestled on top. Just an added layer of color, and an economical one as well!
@@JuliannaStyles A strange thing is that I am trying to think about what has caused me to not really be bothered with it so much. Part of it is empty nest --- our son is a junior in college -- but part of it is that I am not bombarded with magazines anymore as I stopped getting Better Homes & Gardens and Real Simple. I used to enjoy getting ideas from those magazines but maybe it was just encouraging more spending??? Anyway, I do believe it is important to have points of beauty in our home. Our homes provide nurture and comfort for ourselves, our families and our friends.
@@dianaholbrook Absolutely! I did my best not to get carried away and kept spending to a minimum. Keeping our families comfortable and safe regardless of decorating is the number one priority ☺️🙏
