I save the 28 oz glass jars from peanut butter to use as drinking glasses or storing chicken broth (after a thorough washing, of course). Empty medication bottles are good for disposing of bacon grease instead of potentially clogging up pipes.
I love these ideas for repurposing, with one careful caveat: saving everything endlessly can lead to hoarding or “just in case” items that clutter our lives. Repurposing is wonderful and cost saving, but getting things out is also important for well being. ❤
Absolutely agreed! I continually declutter items we truly do not use, but sometimes it’s paid off to hold onto a few things I ended up being grateful I still had 😅 Thanks for watching 🙏

Being a minimalist and recently having to clear out my parent’s apartment that was tidy but stuffed with reusable items (yes, small yogurt containers can be useful, but 400?!!!) where you forget about them is way too much inventory. It’s become a red flag 🚩 for me and I just had to mention it. I so appreciate your videos, time, and scripture 💖🙏🏻
I have a tip to add! I save and freeze all my veggie scraps and make veggie stock. Once my bag is full in the freezer I grab the stock pot! I add in herbs and spices with water. After about an hour it's ready. I have found it is a great way to have homemade stock and use up scraps. It freezes well too.
Reuse the bags cereal is in within the boxes as waxed paper - like for making chocolate-covered strawberries or evening out Rice Krispies treats, etc. I then use the actual empty cereal boxes to fill with small trash - it's easier for me to discard things in smaller containers whenever possible rather than haul out a huge heavy garbage bag.

You definitely shouldn’t save EVERY last piece of trash, that would be hoarding 😂 But I REPURPOSE things mostly for STORAGE purposes, which helps CONTAIN and CONTROL the clutter🙌🙂

I use the tp and pt rolls and dryer lint for fire starters just put the lint into the rolls, these tips you gave were great!!!
