Ross, the offensive line is the problem with this team. It was shyt last year and Carr got killed because of it. If that line was even decent, they would have protected him, and our running game wouldn't have sucked ass. I'm not worried about Carr doing his job. I'm concerned about the offensive line doing there's and protecting Carr
And there's a lot of players I feel like got humbled last year because people was under the impression that bringing in a QB was supposed to solve all of our problems. I hope we never have that mindset again. Fix ALL of the roster.

I want to see it on Sunday when it counts. We still don’t know the identity of this team. It all sounds good , but we haven’t played not 1 game yet that count.
I’ve wondered and have never gotten an answer into why the offense began to change(play action, motion, etc.) at the end of last season. Did Carr step in and take charge, did they listen to what he had to say, did DA step in in someway, or did Carmichael just randomly change in his own? I just have a hard time believing Carmichael changed things up at the end of the season given how basic he’d been all year
You don’t know if they win more than 9? Lol. Ross cmon now you know Saints are going to the SB this year and winning it all again ⚜️ have some faith the saints play like how they played the end of last season.
every friggin year. now broncos' media is trying to insinuate a lattimore trade citing salary cap, expecting a cheap cb market trade when they have nothing to give. nothing more irritating than outside media not knowing the team they are reporting about. i predict 5 more teams proposing a trade where they don't give up anything to get a probowl cb, as if salary cap has anything to do with how the saints operate. jokers even think the saints will give up taysom for nothing. pffft
Does the Saints media and fans live in a place called REALITY? What do you think the Saints offense was last season Ross Jackson? The Saints passing offense was 11th in 2023. The Saints Points scoring offense was 9th in 2023. The Saints Rushing offense was horrible, 21st in the NFL, and would’ve been 30th if you remove Taysom Hill’s runs from the QB position. These are what is known as FACTS.
Most of those yards were empty yards in garbage time. If YOU watched games, you'd know that we started every game out slow, and then ended up having to pass every play against a team that was playing soft coverage with a lead.
@MosheGoldbergTheKing Imagine not engaging my point. Am I wrong? Did we start games fast last year? When did most of our yards come? When we were already down and playing against soft coverage? Exactly.
@@LilRedRasta It’s one thing to try to “add context” to stats, this isn’t what you’re doing & isn’t what typically happens with Derek Carr, it’s all about attempting to “minimize” or “discredit” any accomplishments he has. Here’s why what you are saying is incorrect. 1. The Saints Coaching Staff & team was essentially the same from 2022-2023, the primary difference was Derek Carr in place of Winston/Dalton. Derek Carr took the Saints offense from 22nd in 2022 to 9th in 2023, the theory of “garbage time” is irrelevant to this conversation, due to the fact that Derek Carr also led the Saints to having the 8th best points differential in the entire NFL, meaning, since the Saints were in so many close games, they had such little garbage time as to be statistically irrelevant. This is confirmed if you look a little deeper into situational statistics. 2. Derek Carr not only threw for more yards in the 1st half of games, but also had more TD passes in the 1st half of games. If you break it down to “by Quarter”, Carr’s passing yards like this, 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 1st Quarter 4th Quarter Besides sounding incredibly biased to begin with, It’s incredibly hard to make the “The only reason our team had a Top Ten Offense was because of our QB’s play in Garbage time”, when the individual Quarters data doesn’t correlate with that.

I have faith that if he is a savvy OC, he will know who he wants under center, and it is probably not the guy that has to be there by default.
This is going to be a repeat of last year. Carr does not study the playbook enough to be elite. That’s what the locker room said in post game interviews. Carr can’t blame play calling this year b/c he has a new one. Book it. We will be sub .500 before the KC game
