Bro I just want to say i appreciate and love your channel. I’ve been hunting for a in depth Saints pod or show for ever. THIS IS BY FAR THE GREATEST SAINTS CHANNEL IVE SEEN.
Comment of the week!
@@JamesSkrmetta you killing it James… just spit out facts and you’ll be fine. Unlike AFR always putting his QB1 down!
It's honestly insane how much they kept things the same within the organization because of their whole "continuity" philosophy. That only worked because they had a hall of fame QB in Brees. He WAS the continuity lol. Ever since he retired the franchise had been trying to replicate the same formula but it was just never going to work. Honestly what gets me the most excited about these changes is not just the brand new offense, but it seems like for the first time in a very long time, the front office has finally come to the realization that maybe the old way of doing things is not sustainable. All the changes you've seen so far have been a reflection of that. I've been saying it's time for the Saints to write some new history not re-create it.
Extremely well said. Agree 100%
That's one of Kubiak main reason for coming was the offense roster..👌🏾
The South will be the Saints again this season and will make playoffs. I said it here! Will be here at the end of the season
As will I because I’ve said..and will say again…12 - 5 Division Champs!!
False! Derek Carr is your QB.
Don't even think about the playoffs....
@@brianwilliams7123yeah because a top 10 scoring offense is bad
@@ericsipe8619 When the Saints get serious about winning they will get rid of Derek Carr!
I don't want you guys to go through what is Raider fan went through..
@@ericsipe8619 Saints are a great organization! I wish y'all the best!!!
The key to this type of offense we are implementing is being able to move the ball on the ground, it opens up the rest of the playbook. It’s CRITICAL we establish a run game to have any success on offense this season.
No doubt
I think Dennis Allen being sort of an easy going guy and not necessarily a culture builder like Payton is ok with me. I think Kubiak and some free agents come here because Allen is that way. Kubiak probably feels like he has more freedom to do whatever he wants because of it.
Just hearing that zero makes me sad, how could Pete actually not use Hill, Kamara and Miller at the same time? Smh. 🤦♂️
I dont think it really was zero, I can recall from the top of my head some times in which Kamara was Wide and carr had a rb by his side, there werent much tho
Maaaan imagine having Hill as fullback going in motion MISMATCH EVERY GIVEN TIME
@@eduardopoceros7737 2 RB formation. So if Kamara was out wide, wouldn’t have counted. Talking any formation where 2 running backs are in the backfield.
@@JamesSkrmetta yea exactly
@@JamesSkrmetta I misunderstood, thanks for the clarification
Carr went from Gruden, the best coach he’s had, to interim Bisacia, who was great motivator but not great x/o’s, to saboteur McDaniels, to incompetent Pete. Klint will unlock Carr like an Oceans 11 bank vault.
More like an Oceans 12 bank vault. Successful but kinda boring.
@@me_boone I’ll take success and boring anytime! Lol
Carr will make any coaching staff and players look bad!
@@brianwilliams7123except for the fact that numerous receivers have had career or close to career years with him- Adams, Agholar, Waller, Crabtree, shaheed, Hollins, etc
@@ericsipe8619 He's stealing money from the Saints....
James cracks me up! Love your channel😂 Klint AINT here for conversation HE'S READY TO CALL SOME PLAYS😅
Do y'all think Perry plays the X role in this offense with Olave splitting time between slot and Y receiver? Or Olave at X with Rasheed playing the fast Y and Perry as a larger (size wise) slot guy? I think both options have pros and cons.
Should depend on the matchups
I think either Perry or Sheets should be the X…Shaheed in the slot and Olave at the Y…just my opinion..
Yeah it’ll probably be matchup dependent. Kubiak seems like he’s willing to adjust to what his opponent is showing during the games.
@@JamesSkrmetta thst should be the main difference why we should have more success, pete was una le to adjust during the game
EVERYTHING……and I mean EVERYTHING depends on the strength of that OFFENSIVE LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a Derek Carr offense! He is the most accurate passer in the league. Right there with Aaron Rogers and Mahomes. He is going to be in his element
Always on point u always have my thoughts
That monologue was spot on
EVERYTHING……and I mean EVERYTHING depends on the strength of that OFFENSIVE LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🎯That part…
Particularly Left Tackle and Left Guard!
Why are people overlooking this?!!!???
Always on point man, you hyping up this season with good reason cause we cooking. Who dat !⚜️

I'm hooked on this pod. You da man.
Ready to run through a brick wall! That hyped! 12 - 5 Division Championship incoming!!! 👊🏼⚜️⚜️⚜️
Carr has never had a coordinator close to this guy
3rd year under Gruden he was on fire. First 2 years they turned over the whole roster.
My fear is that Kubiak gonna be so good that he’s gonna be one and done with us for a head coaching job elsewhere. We need to start a narrative of DA stepping down to DC and allow Kubiak the HC job before we lose him!!!
🎯
The blowing bubbles comment got me man NGL
Pete always catching strays!
Saints offense will be dynamic and Kendre Miller will be the lead back
Thanks James ⚜

I’m telling you Carr will be fine even if it’s long play calls he played under the hardest coach in that category and thrived so really it’s up to kubiak they could do a long play call system and make it easier on his wr and younger personnel looking to reduce the confusion from last year
They’re not smart enough?😂😂😂
@@davidsellers3639it's more about having to memorize 3 words per play vs 12 words per play. Which would be easier, and therefore faster, to learn?
Also football players aren't exactly known for their blindingly bright intelligence 😅.
Carr is terrible
@@brianwilliams7123. The Saints are so lucky to get a top tier QB in Carr and it cost them no draft picks. But instead of appreciating that, silly fans are calling him trash.
@@pbm8264 Carr makes the entire team worse....
Tighten up Skrmetta! Get it together! Who Dat ⚜️

Appreciate this James. Subscribed. Just want to say - I paid money for tickets to the Houston Texans game ( I live in Houston, TX) and my disgust was seeing Michael Thomas get wide open and just missed. It was single high safety defense against the Saints the farthest safety out deep just concentrated one side and committed to that one area. Where was the quaterback's coach in the booth screaming to have D. Carr throw the ball? Is that a Derek Carr issue or playcalling issue? I just see Derek Carr still on this team and have some concerns - despite the excellent points you bring up about the change!
Great comment. The issues started when the coaches seemed to not hold Carr accountable.
Carr holds himself accountable. In all the losses, he mentions that he missed guys, could have made better throws, and to blame him. At that point, does the coach need to pile on as well? Too many fans keep repeating the "accountability" line, and I'm wondering if they ever even watched the post-game pressers.
In any game, quarterbacks miss wide open opportunities. Mahomes, Brees, Brady, Burrow, all of them. That's football. On a new team, in a new division, and with a porous line, those things happen. Did he adjust as the season went on? Was there discernible improvement? Those are the true measures of a good quarterback.
Following the numbers is good IF you also know when to go against them. Getting a good feel for that can probably separate great playcallera from the rest.
I will never be confident in DA as a HC but as a DC ill take him any day i think as long as he focuses on the defense and he allows Kint Kubiak to do his thing on the offensive side we may have something there i personally think Kubiak is gonna coach his way into that HC spot but thats another story for another day lol great content James! Been watching your vids for a while!

Glad to hear you get it James! They didn’t fire Charmichal because of personal relationships
Good stuff Bro,, that’s the biggest coffee mug ever ..
Gotta fuel with the java ☕️
I love the run game. But I hope we see some short slants or curls and have good blocking by receivers specifically on 1st down. I don’t wanna see run, run, pass. I want to see Klint adjust to the game and pass on first down not deep but quick throws to get in rhythm and I think that alone will help. Pete was always so predictable.
You talking some real stuff bruh appreciate it
I appreciate that!
I know a madden mesh route when I see one 😅 that thumbnail goes crazy 😁
😂😂😂 3rd and 4 there’s only one play to go to: The Mesh
Love the description of the offense as a 'blue tarp offense' since Payton/Brees era lol.
Out with the tarp! Hopefully they will finally start fixing the roof
@@JamesSkrmetta Lol, I really think they have finally at least called the repair men in the recent hires.
Looking forward to this... comment for your algo :)
Let’s gooooooo
JS another great show pointing out the need to finally move on from Brees/Payton offense.
Time to begin a new era
I can't wait to have an offense to route for again.
It all sounds good on paper, Klint Kubaik doing this and that with the offense. Let’s see if the hype is real, I’m not sold yet until I see it in games consistently.
Lord I pray we going in the right direction!!!! I feel confident woth Kubiac 🎉
I believe in Kubiak!
Buckle up bc we are gonna be a west coast type offense in a way a offense Bree’s ran in Nola but it’s gonna have new ideas an modern schemes to run the best scheme in my opinion west coast

@@GirthQuake3 asked?
I had to do it I’m sorry bro 😂
Kamara for MVP!!
“ DA not a culture building head coach” preach my brother. But an OC doesn’t create culture either. It’s starts with the head coach
Well DA got rid of Don’t Listen Winston and Cancer MT. He changed one or two defensive coaches last year and this year changed his entire offense. So I’d say his “culture” is looking pretty good. He’s finally got offensive coaches now to maybe match Carr’s talent.
@@pbm8264culture isn’t about hiring and firing guys. It’s about your identity and players believing in you. And your leadership abilities, DA is a lost clown. Under Sean Payton we knew we was going to get the best out of our players and put ourselves in the best position to win each. Win lose or draw
@@user-mw4mp1vx2w Oh please. You talking about Bong Sean? Yea he had such a great personality people just wanted to follow. I wonder how long he’s been on the bong? Something tells me it was more than just that one time on camera with his son. Some example he is! That may explain him fighting with Wilson constantly on the sidelines, his prunish attitude and all them 7-9 seasons, until he finally found a good defensive coordinator like DA to bail him out.
