The matt black finish is the culprit behind the average look. The 120th anniversary GT owned by Anurag looks average too in my opinion. The chrome looks way better
I always wanted alloys on Interceptor. But the absence of chrome elements is a big miss for me. Also nothing new on the instrument cluster is disappointing.
Imo only thing I didn't like about it is the blacked out parts. Really killed the nostalgia. Definitely a fresh look but blacked out parts isn't something really stunning as it's available on almost every other bike🤷♂️
@@leonbarua7712 the Indian buyer is moving from pure retro to modern classic, anything that's fast and agile is losing chrome. This shift is visible in sales too. At least I am getting over the nostalgia because I prefer Cb350 over the classic 350.
@@aryavarta-rq4xv maintenance is higher than RE because of the so called premium Bigwing offering. And if you want to upgrade to a 350, I think CB is the answer, it makes you comfortable with the refinement, quality and the overall experience.

I agree with the most guys in the comment section that the previous model with spoke wheels looked better but it had some serious grip issues and plus the center of gravity was little higher than the new one. This one is slightly more aggressive in seating posture and those tyres do provide a better grip and Royal Enfield has lowered its center of gravity that makes it very stable at high speeds and for cornering too.
Idk how but with the alloy wheels , the interceptor actually looks better than continental GT . Kudos to RE for bringing the necessary changes to the ever evolving 2 wheeler Industry. Also Nice presentation ❤

One thing please confirm. Old interceptor and gt has steel braided brake lines. The new units with adjustable levers seems like normal brake lines. Are those steel braided?

They feature the classic looks and come with side carry bags, touring seats, wind screen and engine block protectors. Which make them like 800€ more expensive than before, which sucks, but at least they're still available.

The confusion most of us having now is E20 petrol by 2025. If we buy a bike now which is suitable for 10% ethanol mixed petrol and in two years these machines going to be worthless or finding a E10 is hard. What do you think?

Blacked out finish looks better than that ugly "finish" that was currently being used. They should either opt for pure chrome finish or even better would be satin brushed polished finish which also used by Triumph. My only problem with all black finish is that it will heat the engine even more.
The current bare metal finish is a pain to maintain... After just one short ride you can notice spots on the casings which takes hours of polishing to get rid of.... Plus you cannot fully get rid of the spots.
I prefer the bare alloy finish. It is more true to the bikes of the post-war era. Plus, you can polish them to a near mirror finish. The blacked out engine looks a bit plain and subdues its visual lines but will require zero maintenance. All a matter of choice, really.
Gross weight of Interceptor 650 of 2023 has increased by approximately 15kg, in alloy wheels or spoke wheels models, what is the reason behind this waight gain? Just LED headlight,USB port and new switchs are not the reason, So is it the OBD system responsible for?
The tubeless tires are great, but the black black and more black just completely ruins the whole bike. Needs bright glossy red paint, and lots of polished aluminum and chrome.

The area where improvement was required most is the seat.
Disappointed that RE did nothing in that department.

yes the seat has minor changes, the pillion side is slightly wider as well as the foam is 25% on the softer side .

Yes you can... Infact the switchgear from Meteor350 also fit directly to Interceptor & GT.
