bro i watched the full video and there are some things you didnt get right BUTT nobody can be perfect for everything and have their own opinions. Ofcourse some things in this video didnt make sense, but nobody can be perfect and mistakes are always made. keep up the good work bro:)
The esports in cs is just better in my opinion, any team can qualify for big tournaments in cs if they are just good, unlike in valorant where only one team goes to the big leagues through ascension and then even if they win they are not allowed to stay there.
Yeah HaiX dropped the ball on that one. You can't just think of the streams. The events themselves and the crowds are 10x bigger and better on CS. There's also no suspension/tension in Valorant games, it's just constant action which makes you numb really quick.
@@Remu-I’ve got 3k hours on cs and quite a lot on valorant, but not once have I ever sat down and watched a valorant game, because it’s just cringey and uninteresting. Like you said, it’s non stop action, so there’s no hype around it.
@@cody6550Valorant has been massively improving their esports scene lately, and while I agree that it's easier to get into big tournaments in csgo, valorant esports especially at the highest level are very exciting to watch and there are new paths for up and coming players in tier 2 and tier 3 to get into the pro scene.
yeah. and Valorant NA league is more ridiculous with their franchising model that were usually used in sports. Basically it is the same teams/orgs competing just among themselves again and again because to enter the league the teams or orgs have to pay millions for the seat and closing the door for teams that dont have big sponsors and money.
@@VarVarJeg They have like 8 smokes that all do the same thing plus the stupid ass walls that engulf an entire site. And almost every character has a flash ability. Such a terrible game its crazy.
You missed the most important part! ragdolls: Cs has ragdolls, valorant does not. nothing beats the grace and beauty of a body falling on the floor after a head shot in cs, while in valorant you are shooting cardboard boxes.
again with the grafics arguement tf yall flexing abt when yall turn all that shit to the lowest to have +10 fps then say ur game is better when it looks like cs1.6
according to Valve in their recent interview with PC Gamers it is better to just release the game, that way they get more feedback from the players than they could when its still in beta since the playerbase are split between CS2 and CSGO
BTW it's a big gamble, but it's a gamble Valve can make. If you decide to release a game unfinished to get proper and near endless community feedback and bug reports, you HAVE to use them and use them FAST. If it were to be another company especially something like DICE or Activision, people would quit the game guessing the game will never be fixed, but Valve's community is extremely helping and patient because Valve has never let them down long term in the past. However,if this phase takes longer than expected, the patience will run thin especially amongst pro players, which will affect CS2 in the long term. Let's see if the gamble pays off. (like it always did lmao)

3 things i dont like about this vid 1. Community is not only about toxicity, its also about the content creator's and just the vibe 2. Esport, you only talked-about accessibility. Not about the actual tournaments. Where imo cs is 1000 better 3. Guns, in cs2 you can create your own loadout and the guns are balanced equally well so i dont see why the guns category is a ??? Great vid as always, just some things that made me a bit mad.
Esports in valorant is way more accessible, to get noticed in csgo the grind is unreal, all the pros have like 4k+ elo in faceit which takes alot longer to get if you are good than it does to hit radiant if you are good (equivalent to 3100 elo). When valorant came out, there were open qualifiers to VCT, ascension was only introduced after everything settled down. The community in high elo valorant is way better than the edating dogs who ruin the image of val in silver/gold elo. CS frogs immediately jump to roasting them but they dont reflect the whole community in valorant. However I think guns should be a point for cs2, valorant needs recoil patterns and it would be way more fun to play.
@@s1mithat’s because CS2’s pro scene is significantly more mature; if someone was going to go Pro in CS, they would have already. Valorant’s younger pro scene still has some room for less impressive players
@@marco9810 I mean, It’d be obtuse (even as a Val hater) to say that the top Val pros don’t have a blinding amount of talent, but the top of the mountain is a lot sharper, whereas there is a much larger plateau of CS players who can go nuts on any day (like JL on day one of IEM Sydney).
5:02 rank bans for using words just shouldn’t be a thing. I’m an adult. A paid my money for a game that is lent for adults only. Now I can’t say cuss words without getting banned from playing? That’s just absurd there’s a mute button
I think the point about CS meta is there doesn't need to be constant meta changes because the gameplay is already good. Changing the formula too much would be bad for the game. There might come a point in the future where Valorant changes their game so much that it doesn't become fun anymore. If Valve were more proactive about changing maps and supporting community map creators, there wouldn't be an issue. Also in terms of esports, the actual events, production, crowd, hype around the players is so much better for CS. Also Valve are removing partnered teams for third party events like ESL or Blast (Valve's own majors are open for everyone through the open qualifiers) so shitter teams that perform poorly can't just get reinvited and stomped in tournaments, and it actually gives a great opportunity for anyone to make a team and become professional. Riot has gone in the complete opposite direction with mostly partnered teams. Riot has almost complete control over who gets to play (G2's Valorant team didn't get picked because Riot didn't like their CEO lul), which is bad for the players. Overwatch esports was heavily franchised and is now dead.
Reminds me so much of Rainbow Six Siege!! A lot of people got burnt out and quit the game because of the changes these past few years. Including myself
A slow changeing meta driven by players trying new and better strats is much more interesting then adding something new ever few months just to change the meta, Its why I struggle with TCGs, you can get really into them, stop playing for a few weeks and bam new cards and new meta's and it's hard to keep up, CS meta is always changing, it just changes slowly and through players gameplay, look at warowls video where he compares the first and last major, both on inferno (and yes one was on a newer version) but the layout was basically the same, get they played the map so so differently
changing meta is good, it feels so repetitive when you do the same shit on the same maps constantly. thats the one thing about valorant, if i play a map i just played it can still go completely differently dependent on what characters the other team picked
@@gorillaballsack3849 I agree, which is why CS2 needs to start changing the Map Pool after each Major. That's the biggest difference between CS and Valorant, in CS everyone is the same and the difference is you the player, your skill, your aim, your game sense, no dependant on who hero you choose
Riot clearly knows better whats best for the game, for years they keep winning best esports game and bout meta change ur very wrong, metas is what keep most people engaged in the game, playing same shit over and over again is booring af, thats why League is still most played competitive game by far, coz is fun to play for literally unlimited time
my main concern that I have with valorant is with its agents. If the game follow R6 siege, new agents have a good chance of being underwhelming or downright OP. Agent niches will start being canibalised by new additions. Also with adding more agents, the grind to actually unlock every character increases or becomes more expensive if you decide to purchase them making the game more unaproachable for new or returning players.
If you actually start to play the game a decent amount u will open all the agents pretty quickly. Also the difference between r6 and val is that r6 is done by ubisoft and val by riot, so that already tells something :D Riot has almost 15 years of experience balancing characters in lol
@@miqqqe in LoL there is literally no balance. What they do is that before worlds, they buff some characters, which they want to see on stage. And then we can see teams picking the same 4-5 team comps. Every games eventually gets top overloaded with champs/agents/heroes. They should stop adding them at some point
@mikaelmakela5814 it's still around 12ish hours per agent according to the internet. As the game gets older and more agents are added, it'll be increasingly more time consuming for a f2p to unlock them all
@@zsolesz1228 that's literally fcking cap and that comes from someone who hates league balance team (especially since phreak took that role). League has meta shifts every 1-2 months with most of the champions being playable for low/mid elo. And they definetly are not doing meta shifts before worlds/msi
Cant believe you gave Esports scene point to Valorant just because of Co-casting and not considering other aspects. CSGO Competitive had made a legacy & is still relevant & continues to draw in folks after all these years (Continuing with CS2*) .

Coming from someone who has been competing in Valorant since release. I would much rather have the CS2 esports scene than Valorant. Riot has essentially ruined the T2 scene and actively makes efforts against the community.
@shintyxd788 Franchise on paper seems good bc it adds stability to an esports scene, but in Valorant's case, Riots director of esports has been woefully ignorant to how the community feels on a multitude of subjects and is more interested in take the lazy route.
The worst thing about val esports is that we get only 3 international tourneys per year, like for real? And then a 5-6 months break? What even is that.
Skins.. Valorant just has better skins. They are unique, they change the gun's Sounds, Model, Animations and kill-effects. They can also give "Aimbot" for some players who use specific skins. While sure, CS has an economy, those skins are mostly for economic reasons, and not for actual fun. They cost THOUSANDS and Valorant can give you an entire bundle for less than 100 bucks. I'll give the point to Valorant for skins, although of course CS has the objective win due to its economy.
Another point i like to mention in favor of Valorant is that they have more servers widespread. I always have to play about 110 ping at cs2's servers, which is kinda awful, but in Valorant's im playing at 35 ping since they added servers in my city.
cs2 is in need of big fixes right now. valorant is miles better than cs2 even tho i dont like that game

How the hell did you rate Esports just based on co-hosting?!? CS hots arguably the most organized commercial Esports events yet you gave the point to val just because the games are monetized by companies and small streamers cant stream them without permissions?
I came back to Valorant after CS2 because I'm only using a low end PC. The bright side about Valorant is that it's still compatible for old processors.

There are a few misinformed opinions in this piece, mainly subtick being the reason for missed shots, a lot of those issues are explained by misaligned animation and hitboxes, interpolation issues and dropped packets. Anticheat having access to your files is true, but that is not the reason it's a kernel ring 0 software, the reason is they can keep track of your PC memory and check if someone is touching data that belongs to the game and maybe uses it maliciously. (and people saying they are spying on you, you can easily see packets the anticheat is sending if you are so concerned, also doubt Riot is willing to kill their reputation for this when it could be easily done without ring0 access) The reason for being a kernel ring 0 (as any other capable anticheat) is not that it can read your files necessarily but that it can be exploited without developers knowing and since it has the highest priviledges it can do anything to your PC if such a thing occured. The main issue people had with Vanguard is not that it has access to kernel, but that it is running all the time.
I feel like the same issue is present in DOTA 2 and CS:GO, their competitors are more active and despite the amazing potential of both dota and cs RIOT is willing to put the work in every day on the games they create and valve half asses an update whenever they feel like it.
Valorant is objectively a harder game to learn. I play both and personally I gravitate towards Valorant because the frequency of cheaters is SIGNIFICANTLY less. >inb4 just play faceit. Shut up lol. Also 128 tick being standard for Valorant is a big W. Valve will and always will prioritise gambling and shiny skins over gameplay. I don’t really see how an “e-sports scene” affects the quality of each game? The whole scene is so commercialised it’s disgusting anyway. CS is boring too, the same angles held, with the same line ups, where 8/10 games you are unsure of if you are VSing a cheater or not, where somebody who has a house deposits worth of skins equipped but is terrible at the game. The hacking in CS has now become almost as common as Warzone hackers. The lifeblood of counter strike isn’t even the game, it’s the market. Game would’ve fallen into obscurity if it didn’t morph the once great Counter Strike into a big casino.
Valorant is a bit restrictive with the abilities. Once you pick an agent you are fixed to a playstyle. In CS you can be entry or lurk, you can play support, all in the same game. That's my main thing with Valorant. And I personally don't like that the spray pattern is not consistent but that's just a personal thing.
Yeah that’s fair tbh. I think for the agent thing, while it does restrict your play style for that match, it also enhances your ability to play in that way. In cs I like playing aggressively with my flashes and running in. In Val I can play skye or phoenix to compliment that plus I get other abilities to help my specific playstyle. For spray patterns, I think people are just gonna prefer what they started with. I started with Val so I like that it’s semi random, as in the first ~5 bullets just go straight up but the rest is random because it allows bursting but it incentivizes people to go for good first bullet accuracy. In cs tho, I do understand how mastering spray pattern could be fun and seeing it being executed well is really cool.
I actually enjoy the agent approach from Valorant more in a sense. It priorities teamplay and knowledge of the game, having different team setups can make or break a game (higher elo ofc) and having an uncoordinated team can really hamstring your game. I personally favour this over CS as it allows others to be useful even if they aren't necessarily fragging high. In CS, whilst teamplay is a priority it also encourages solo play and I've experienced it far more frequently than I would like. It enables the kind of people who bait, exit frag and sit at the top of the scoreboard with zero impact, to feel a god complex when in reality they are the issue with the team.
Actually, many agents can play multiple roles. A sentinel like cypher can be a controller with his useful cages, or an initiator with his cam, or even aggressive like a duelist since all you have to do is just wait for the enemy to fall into your setup then you can rush them. Same for most agents, like for example, most duelists can also play defensively since Reyna, Jett, Raze, and Neon have movement util to get away from dangerous spots. I saw someone talk about this in the comments, and CS is more about perfection, and making sure you can perfect a playstyle, where as valorant is more about adaptability and being able to change how you play.
Played similar hours as you. Also played from cs 1.6 , css , csgo now cs2 I swapped to Valorant in 2020. Came back recently to CS2 and think if the bugs and hit reg is fixed it can easily beat Valorant. The only thing that it won’t meet is Valorants accessibility and integrity. Been playing for 3.5 years in Valorant and seen maybe 5-6 cheaters. CS2 match making is unplayable in integrity terms. You need a third party like Faceit. Hit reg is also better in Valorant. Im gonna stay a little more till the CS2 updates are rolled out.
8:49 what are you smoking? An esports title with a changing meta is a recipe for disaster. Also your decision on esports being based on who can stream matches makes literally 0 sense.
Esports should go to cs imo. Whole VCT franchised thing makes tournaments less dynamic, because same teams play over and over again. For "nonamers" teams it's almost impossible to get to Tier 1 tournaments, unless they dominate Tier 2 for whole season. Teams such as 9INE, GL, Apeks wouldn't have a chance to participate in Tier 1 tournaments if cs would have similar system as VCT. Also, for competitive ranking, Valorant's MMR system makes it unfair and if you play the game consistently you gonna climb no matter what, because it awards players consistently playing from act to act. Ofc cs system is not perfect aswell, but imo FACEIT elo system makes much more sense and awards more skilled players.
Nah, they def do. Not as much since most valorant players are ether children or women whos gaming experience is amongus and stardew valley. That isnt a win you think it is kid
I think the problem is that people play Valorant expecting it to be like CS2 and vice versa. I play both games and I think the differences outweigh the similarities now. The skills are definitely transferrable, but it's just that. Why the fuck argue over which game is better when you could just play the game whenever you want to?
I think in general, the pure mechanics of cs, far exceeds Valorant, source engine movement and shooting and balance with a consistent meta is top tier and even tho Riot tried to replicate, it's just not the same, and as a matter of opinion, maps, skins and game modes are better, mostly because they are community made. I just wish that Valve had better management of the game's tickrate, ranking and anti-cheat. One thing I want Riot to implement, that has been a staple in Face it for years and now is native in Premier, is a picks and bans system for maps, with rounds of voting, and you being able to see each teams best and worst maps based on recent matches.
I actually enjoy the random map with a map pool rotation more, but I know most people prefer to choose their map. I think they sohuld jsut implement a single map ban so you don't play the map you hate the most and that's it. On the other hand, I prefer valorant's shooting and movement to that of cs.
I think the strangest take is your esports one. You talked about accessibility but to someone who doesn't play valorant/cs or even watch video games, CS is way more accessible to an audience. It is more grounded in reality by using real world guns, having a simple representation of bomb defusals, and absent of any supernatural or special operator abilities. It's just easier to watch and understand to even a boomer who never grew up on games. The teams are also simplified to CTs vs T's, where valorant each has their own identities for their operators. Counter strike is way, way more accessible for esports.
Yeah except for the fact that if you're a new player, in your first game, you're guaranteed to get called a slur then told to kys because you dont perform well
@@PoIy178 It's the same shit in valorant different execution. Video games will be toxic. In CS you'll get called a slur and you'll get directly shittalked. In valorant you'll get gas-lit and passive aggressively shit-talked. Same shit different execution.
@@cereal9285 "passive-aggressively shit talked". Yeah that's comparable to being hurled slurs by your entire team for not clutching a 1 v 5 then getting vote kicked after the second round. The fact is that valorant is just less toxic and easier for a new player to get into, most toxic thing you'd get is a "rep *whatever agent you chose*" in all chat and getting called bad by 1 French dude
It's not important at all. In CS, Counter Strafing is good because normally it takes 22 frames to completely stop moving after letting go of a key, while in Valorant, it's only 7 frames, so Counter Strafing is literally the same as just letting go of the key. Still, players do counter strafe for some reason
@@memehivefive9852 the same reason a lot of csgo players play at 4:3, CS 1.6 pros kept the res because it was familiar to them when they came to csgo, so new players copied, and since most valorant players are either ex-csgo players or learned from people who came from csgo and in cs you need to counter strafe, they started to counter strafe as a result.
CS2 made me play Valorant. Best decision. The ranking system is just simply better, and I currently enjoy the gunplay more + Valorant Tracker is amazing.
Very unbiased video, I play both CS and Valorant, I thought this was an amazing video. Only one I disagree with is the graphics. They are two different styles of games that cater to different audiences. As such I would say "???" would fit the category decision better. Overall though really well made!
I started val 2 years ago and I’ve been playing cs on and off for about a year. I love collecting skins for both games and I prefer cs but it does have its flaws. Cs skins are amazing and I love how unique they are and there are some really good cheap skins but because of this, if you don’t have much money then you have the same skin(or similar) as thousands of other people(how many times have you seen atheris awp lol) which kinda defeats the point of the unique skin stuff. Also let’s be real, a community running on gambling is simply predatory. Val skins are expensive and you “lose” the money that you spend but at least you get the skin you want for a consistent price and you even get to have up to 4 recolors of the skin if you play enough or pay a bit more for the battlepass. Another thing is if you don’t have that much money, there are like 10 different vandal skins that you could get for $15 each with up to 4 variants. Unlike in cs where if you only have $15 then there are like 5 good ak skins that you could buy and don’t even get me started on knives. Overall, cs skin system is definitely better but a lot of cs players will latch onto anything that is worse in Val than in cs and make it seem like the end of the world and quickly overlook the stuff that Val does better.
I hate Valorant but as it stands right now Valorants gunplay is better than CS2's. And since gunplay is the core component of these two games, that would make Valorant a better game at the moment, whether you like it or not.
Why valorant players has anime profile picture that just so fucking cringe CS2 is the goat esports love CS2 go to hell the graphic is better yu need skill to play cs2
Bro when u started talking about the tickrate, ngl u had me in the first half, but then you course corrected and said that there needs to be a lot of work done and that hopefully it can be fixed. Which is 100% the correct opinion. Altho, hitreg might not be related directly to subtick, but interp instead, either way volvo needs to fix game blyat.

CS2 doesn't even feel like CS anymore, Valorant is undeniably the better game. Even pros like S1mple, Shroud and Loba have all complained about how absolutely horrible CS2 is.
Community is true. You might not notice it, as 90% of players in cs are men, and the remaining 10% are in hiding. But playing as a female (im not, but I duo with one both in valo and cs); valo is 10 times more friendly and accesible. Im not saying its perfect, but in cs you will literally get kicked and tk'ed to Narnia ("go kitchen blyat") just for using your mic. So while Valorant might have more cringey couples, I'd still take that over blatant racism, sexism and homophobia, that doesnt get punished, any day of the year. (ive played cs since condition zero)
i've seen alot of executes in valorant the problem with that is it's a Chaos a complete chaos of abilities, you can see nothing, you barley can hear something, and you might won't able to move. when in cs you might get flashed but a jet won't come dash up straight on your head with knifes and kill you without even noticing what happened it's a disaster. and also when it comes to Characters i quit Valorant for the reason that they add so many that right now it's similar to League of Legends, every patch they add changes the whole game play, every spot that they remove/add the whole game play is changing and it is frustrating.
How is Valorant Boring? It literally has over 20 unique agents all of them different with unique playstyles and abilities. Valorant has WAYYY more variety than CS. Even Valorant maps are vastly more unique than CS because each map has a unique mechanic or a catch. in CS it's just de_dust2 layout recycled 20 times.

i mean in the end you're pretty much right. Valve just released that game and with the release there are so many bugs, the game itself has so much potential but they don't listen to feedbacks. there are so many videos of people uploading and showing how much bugs the game contains, and the top of the cherry is that "Simple" the number 1 player in cs got a message in twitter by valve asking him "what the issues" and he decided not to respond since the whole WORLD showing these company their videos but they decides not to watch or just ignore everyone.
It just sad to see CS2 became downgrade after it released, also it's going to be hard for Valve also with this sudden deployment and so many bug fixes for unfinished game. For this point of view, I do hate Valorant imo but it's true from your opinion Valorant currently surpassed CS2. In this case, Valve needs to bring CSGO back or they do need to fix a lot of things for CS2 to get their popularity back from community (hard to believe this is going to work or not but I wish)
CS2 isn’t even as buggy as CSGO was when it released, yet look at how good CSGO became. CS in general has to be perfect, or it just doesn’t work, and they need time to perfect things.

Hot take: I don't think toxic chat, including racist comments and the like, should be reportable or banable in a game where you, the player, have the ability to click a button and never hear anything from that person again. Life doesn't have a speech police. Nor should it. Teens and adults are going to encounter ideas and people they don't like in life. The answer isn't to cry to an authority to police those people. That leads bad places. This system reinforced bad behaviors and bad solutions. Society already has a system for dealing with this: we shun them. We ignore them. We laugh at them. And the games we play should encourage that. We laugh at this person, tell them they're ignorant, then mute them. 4 months later this person has been muted by everyone on the server. Either way, if players have a way to opt out of hearing things like that, there doesn't need to be a report system for it. Just grow up, roll your eyes, toggle them to ignored and pretend they don't exists. The rest of the world already does. And players should learn to deal with it responsibly, not like babies.
nice vid but also i would like to mention that valorant players dont like the game themself because its kind of repetitive and suure new agents are coming but its still boring after like 1000 hours so we moved to cs2 only to be told to move back... nice
Community I would give ???. The thing is on the surface it is much more toxic, but there are amazing people in the community who do a lot for it, which you indirectly gave credit to when you talked about community servers... they are made by the community so that is a huge plus for CS. The summary is pretty much what I agree with. Valorant is much easier for newer players not only because of other players and cheaters in CS but because of the game mechanics themselves. But if you play regularly or want to master some mechanics, strats, etc. CS is the way to go. It has much higher skill ceiling which can be seen even in pro scene, where people who were mid or actually falling with the rise of skill and abilities in CS switched to Valorant and they are doing just fine (like for instance ScreaM who was by no means a bad player in CS, but very inconsistent and couldnt find a working roster for so long and now he is regarded as one of the top players in Valorant). Many people switched from CS to Valorant, but nobody even recently when Valorant has been out for some time now did that the other way around. half of the NA scene is just ex-pro CSGO players.
Before watching the vid : Cs is just better I’d rather be yelled at than hearing 3 ppl whining while trying to clutch And the character balance is just bad. Riot is like “oop, this character is picked up by 0.1% more than last year, time to make it unusable”
CS2 wins movement category...even though the movement doesn't WORK in cs2 because of the subtick and people have to create like 16 backdoor configs for each movement keybind now that is 12 folders deep in order for them to *maybe* move properly. you haven't done your research m8
First shot in val is actually not 100% accurate for most guns, including vandal, even if you are standing still and scoped. It has a bit of rng to it. Guardian, op and scout are only guns with 100% accuracy. Nevertheless I prefer valorant for a multitude of reasons, and played cs for years. Think the art argument is dumb, colourful != childish, and more colour makes the definition of certain things easier to recognise. It is a little ironic too since so many cs players play with higher saturation, making it look more like valorant, because it makes it easier to identify enemies, etc...
In valorant even tho its more optimized you need to have SSD, if its in HDD you tend to load in for 5 mins and AFK for a round or 2, and you will be punished for AFKing even tho its not really your fault And for community as much as I hate the occational aholes I still prefer CS cuz they have alot more personality in general In Valorant I feel like theres only the same 4 or 5 personalities across the entire game
Valo community in a nutshell. Children, E-Daters, RP's (Rollplayers), Edgy emo people, and the dreaded Insta-Lock guy who bitches about everything and everyone who ends up bottom fragging anyways. I think I got it all right if I'm not mistaken.
I can see how all of these points make a lot of sense, but giving a point to Valorant on esports simply for the ability to cast official events is pretty crazy. Everything else about the esports scene, especially viewership and engagement is way higher for CS. The overall crowd draw, frequency, prize pools, and excitement for these events are through the roof. CS has twice the viewership on average and 40x larger prize pools hosting almost 4x the amount of tournaments.
TLDS: The core competitive mode in CS is worse than Val in every way shape and form... Except, CS2 has many other features around the game that make it good like community servers, skins, and fun movement...... In terms of raw ranked 5v5... CS is booty cheeks. I also say this as a player with 3500hrs in csgo/cs2 and about 200 in val

It's painfully obvious how incompetent valve devs are. I love cs, been playing GO since 2014 and only tried valorant for like 3-4 months. Got tired of whacky shit with weird abilities. I think the hero abilities and lack of losing utility charges on death really messes with the gunplay of valorant. cs2 is in an abysmal state right now, but honestly i'm not even sure that valve can handle fixing the game. I don't think we'll ever see meaningful changes to cs2 - it'll happen in a condition-zero style update to cs2 where there's a soft reboot of the game (if it happens at all)
for the meta point i think that is basically the main difference between the games, cs is all about perfecting a very standard and overplayed style, to win you do the same thing as your opponent but better, valorant is very different where adaptability is valued over perfection. thats why some ex cs players are better at val than cs.

The events themselves and the crowds are 10x bigger and better on CS.

according to Valve in their recent interview with PC Gamers it is better to just release the game, that way they get more feedback from the players than they could when its still in beta since the playerbase are split between CS2 and CSGO
3 things i dont like about this vid
1. Community is not only about toxicity, its also about the content creator's and just the vibe
2. Esport, you only talked-about accessibility. Not about the actual tournaments. Where imo cs is 1000 better

(and people saying they are spying on you, you can easily see packets the anticheat is sending if you are so concerned, also doubt Riot is willing to kill their reputation for this when it could be easily done without ring0 access)
The reason for being a kernel ring 0 (as any other capable anticheat) is not that it can read your files necessarily but that it can be exploited without developers knowing and since it has the highest priviledges it can do anything to your PC if such a thing occured.
The only reason i prefer valorant over cs2 or r6 is visibility. I dont want to glue my eyes to the screen to see if its an enemy or a doorframe.
the fact that you gave esports point to valorant because of community casting is crazy
100%
I saw someone talk about this in the comments, and CS is more about perfection, and making sure you can perfect a playstyle, where as valorant is more about adaptability and being able to change how you play.
one thing i will agree is smokes and flashes in valo are so much better especially flashes. in cs flashes are almost useless.@@howdee_

Who is that playing the Valorant gameplay clips, I need to know, that is the smoothest and most satisfying aiming I have ever seen
CS2 made me play Valorant. Best decision. The ranking system is just simply better, and I currently enjoy the gunplay more + Valorant Tracker is amazing.
I've always enjoyed val more cause of the gunplay and easy visibility of everything. TO me it feels like playing CS 1.6.
Very unbiased video, I play both CS and Valorant, I thought this was an amazing video. Only one I disagree with is the graphics. They are two different styles of games that cater to different audiences. As such I would say "???" would fit the category decision better. Overall though really well made!
i miss cs 1.6 from 1999 =´(
i´m 32 .... Valorant is too childish for me
I started val 2 years ago and I’ve been playing cs on and off for about a year.

My opinion
1- CSGO -- Optimised ,, for Low end pc ,,,(GOOD GAME)
2- VALORANT -- Optimised .. works on Low end pc ... (GOOD GAME(
3- CS 2 -- Not optimised ,, don't work on low end pc ... (even sometimes lags on high end pc😂😂) therefore .... CS 2 is the worst game FOR ME
Giving esports to valorant is crazy
Poppin swing just looks like a prius peek instead of a ferrari peek
ahhhh yes the video i just needed
(ive played cs since condition zero)
idk why men are so toxic and intolerant
i never see women act like this online
so if women switch to valorant it's a win-win right. Based Valve
i've seen alot of executes in valorant the problem with that is it's a Chaos a complete chaos of abilities, you can see nothing, you barley can hear something, and you might won't able to move.
when in cs you might get flashed but a jet won't come dash up straight on your head with knifes and kill you without even noticing what happened it's a disaster.
and also when it comes to Characters i quit Valorant for the reason that they add so many that right now it's similar to League of Legends, every patch they add changes the whole game play, every spot that they remove/add the whole game play is changing and it is frustrating.
I just played a valorant match after 3-4 hours of cs and i can say i have never felt a game be so boring like i felt valorant
@@deivytrajanvalorant felt bland for me. I can see why he would say that. Sure, 20 agents. But in the end, you'll only use one or two agents. There are other factors that contribute to this game being bland massively. Such as movements, shooting, and many other stuff too. I forgot to mention. Maps. Valorant maps is garbage. Sorry for saying this.
@@deivytrajanI bet money you have no hours on cs
@@TLOTSR you're dumb man, most people who've played val have played CS before. CS has existed for decades at this point, stop being dummy. People have preferences. I find CS super boring and valorant much more entertaining, and I'm 31 yo, grew up playing CS 1.6 on lan cafes, bought CSS first day (HL2 cd). I still think Valorant is what the genre needed. Same thing with overwatch, i don't like it but I can see how many people would prefer it over TF2.
@@Amin-dd9mk u literally have to turn on your brain while playing a good valo match... maps are designed for the agents to have some adv in some area of map with good lineup potential.. smokes, map rotation and very cheeky angles... obv you cant just rely on your aim the entire match

Giving points for each category is great but from there each person needs to make their own assessment because to each person some categories will be way more important than others.
I really love the guns in cs cuz of spray patterns but the thing about val buying guns make it more balance i guess?
Also ill add this community in competitive games val wins like by far, but community on tournaments csgo wins by a long shot whenever i watch csgo tournaments i feel like im watching football but when im watching val tour the crowd sometimes are sleeping buuuut val tour are getting better crowd wise (this year brazil, tokyo and LA got some great crowd especially when chinese teams are playing)
Valorant has spray patterns too.
@@deivytrajan it is until in some point it goes random and doing random T spray
i mean in the end you're pretty much right.
Lmao Counter Strike will never die
CS2 isn’t even as buggy as CSGO was when it released, yet look at how good CSGO became. CS in general has to be perfect, or it just doesn’t work, and they need time to perfect things.

CS2 : old guys ( rare to find a kid or a girl ) , Toxicity and community (CS2 toxicity in my opinion makes the game more fun , 90% eastern europe ) , logic game and decent graphics
Valorant : every game you find a girl , full of couples and kids , rare to find an old man , Toxicity and community(valorant toxicity makes you nervous cuz the people right there are playing to rank up not to have fun (they're serious about the game btw) , people from all the world , unlogic game and cartoon graphics
Maybe you would sacrifice your computer to Xi for AC, but a lot of people wouldn't.
Giving Valorant points for community is ridiculous 💀
Also ranking system isn't ELO for cs2, couldn't even get that right.
Talking about AC, I remember one guy once told that it was actually easy to cheat on valorant but it was just boring compared to the cs hvh scene
@@nainmain You are saying its easier to cheat in valo than cs? That is a crazy take

@@nainmain Ahh yes one guy told you, you clearly state facts fr fr.
Actually there is counter-strafing in Valorant more commonly known as deadzoning, and its the same concept just not the same speed of CS, it's mostly used in higher elo's like gold and above as well as in premier and pro play.
its hard to believe that there are people that are too insecure to play a game that doesnt look realistic
its not about that, its about 400 abilities being thrown at the same time. Its barely a shooter at this point
And players should learn to deal with it responsibly, not like babies.
nice vid but also i would like to mention that valorant players dont like the game themself because its kind of repetitive and suure new agents are coming but its still boring after like 1000 hours so we moved to cs2 only to be told to move back... nice
only the casual player said that its actually better if they are gonna quit
speak for yourself lol, I find CS' way more repetitive.
maybe i would trust valve with intrusive anti cheat, but no way am i willingly installing Chinese government malware onto my shit lmao
I switched from valorant to csgo a while ago and i am loving cs2 now, its so much better then valorant and people know how to play the game❤
CS2 shooting and movement aren't in a great place at the moment yet they still feel infinitely better than Valorants
absolutely agree. I really love shooting in cs2, in valorant is like the guns are shit
Before watching the vid :
Cs is just better
I’d rather be yelled at than hearing 3 ppl whining while trying to clutch
And the character balance is just bad. Riot is like “oop, this character is picked up by 0.1% more than last year, time to make it unusable”
wdym? There are only 2-3 chars that aren't picked (yoru, fade and can't think of the other).
valve anti cheat = L
riot anti cheat = W
13:10 for those who thought haix will move to val
(never)
CS2 always baby
Sure.. Even the pros hate it lol!
Bet
CS2 wins movement category...even though the movement doesn't WORK in cs2 because of the subtick and people have to create like 16 backdoor configs for each movement keybind now that is 12 folders deep in order for them to *maybe* move properly. you haven't done your research m8
Valorant does have spray patterns. They just don't work quite the same as CS.
Also, first-shot accuracy is better in Valorant by a lot.
First-Shot acc is still way better in cs2 if you have perfect movement. Like you cant miss if you do it right.
@@kapuatron first shot in cs isn't accurate either
In valorant even tho its more optimized you need to have SSD, if its in HDD you tend to load in for 5 mins and AFK for a round or 2, and you will be punished for AFKing even tho its not really your fault
And for community as much as I hate the occational aholes I still prefer CS cuz they have alot more personality in general
In Valorant I feel like theres only the same 4 or 5 personalities across the entire game
Valo community in a nutshell.
Children, E-Daters, RP's (Rollplayers), Edgy emo people, and the dreaded Insta-Lock guy who bitches about everything and everyone who ends up bottom fragging anyways.
I think I got it all right if I'm not mistaken.
I think the toxicity punishments are just stupid in general... I honestly have fun when people roast me and i think of comebacks... Lmao
The skins point was obviously legit and this point 05:18 made me laugh so hard. 😂😂
The thumbnail is a piece of art haix ❤️ pls don't do it again im dying of cuteness uWu
CS has twice the viewership on average and 40x larger prize pools hosting almost 4x the amount of tournaments.
the boykisser part went hard tbh
78 terabytes lmao.
I’m forced to play valorant☹️☹️☹️
Cuz my pc can’t support cs2 cuz i have a patato and my mom doesn’t want to buy me anything :((
Sorry guys i still love cs2 more than any game and i miss cs go a lot :(
haix is really calm in this vedio 🙂
i said too early unitl i watch the end.
I don't think we'll ever see meaningful changes to cs2 - it'll happen in a condition-zero style update to cs2 where there's a soft reboot of the game (if it happens at all)
Its not in an abysmal state tho, there are some minor problems but its pretty good for a new release.
for the meta point i think that is basically the main difference between the games, cs is all about perfecting a very standard and overplayed style, to win you do the same thing as your opponent but better, valorant is very different where adaptability is valued over perfection. thats why some ex cs players are better at val than cs.
