The singers they got matched the voice actors so well. I legitimately did not know that that wasn't Donald Glover. And Ofra Haza, of course, was legendary.
When Moses' mom is singing in the beginning and sends him away...I tear up...every.single.time. The combination of her voice & the desperation in the animation just tears me a part. #gotmeinthefeels

Can’t recall whether it was she or another singer performing the Spanish version, but that one truly made me cry. And, of course, the scene with Miriam reminding Moses about his heritage by singing the lullaby gets me every time
Also it just registered that you thought of him as Batman yes he played Batman but he is not Batman I wouldn't why do you remember him from either heat or Tombstone but never remember him as Batman
Me being a Christian this movie was introduced to me as a young child by my parents and they knew that I loved musicals so they bought this movie for my brother and I to give us the idea of what the book of Moses in the Bible and how he grew up to become the prince of Egypt and later lead all of the people to freedom from slavery and eventually he went against God’s word and was punished for it but this movie was such a great way of learning the Bible story version and it has my favorite actors in it and the storyline is amazing and well thought out. My other favorite biblical movie is Joseph The King of Dreams that talks about Jospeh and the coat of many colors. I miss seeing animated movies like these.

I was rather disappointed to discover that neither Sandra Bullock nor Danny Glover sung their parts. Michelle Pfieffer did a fantastic job as Sephora (both the dialogue and song), so Sandra could’ve pulled off Miriam’s verse
At least Disney knew that Egyptians had dark skin and the jews had lighter complexion, not Hollywood who makes movies such as Exodus, the 10 commandment and Gods of Egypt with pale skins.
