Just to add some points about the source of Addis Ababa. So before the city was born the capital for the country was at Mount Entoto some 8-10km North of Addis. When Emperor Minilk travel to the Eastern part of the country for a mission, his wife leave the Palace and camp around "Fil weha" meaning the spring hot water in front of the grand Palace today. During her 3-4 months of her stay in camp she encountered a flower she had never encountered before. Inspired by the place the Queen named the area Addis Ababa or "The New Flower". When the Emperor returns back from the Eastern campaign he found the Empress in the new place and he decided to set up his capital and Palace in the current Genete Lule(Paradise of the Dukes" Palace where the prime minister resides today. Well the city had bloomed over a century like its name. This is just to add some points as addition.

💌Happy Sunday African Tigress 🐇 🤽♂️
Addis Ababa, lovely beautiful city of Ethiopia, I will visit in the near future, thanks tigress.
l'Éthiopie est vraiment un futur géant africain
la RDC non congo peut être et sera le géant de l'afrique si seulement les dirigeants arrêtaient de voler tout l'argent
I love rain, And really miss it
I live on the 4th floor at Gerji about 4 km to the runway. When I type this I am watching Kenyan B737 running along the runway and airborne! Bon Voyage KQ!
African tigress to the world 🌎🌎
Nice one but very dissapointing seeing drivers not giving way to pedestrian at the pedestrian crossing!!!
Almost all African don’t respect pedestrian but only few.
It's Africa drivers don't care if their is no penalty or a traffic police around they don't care about pedestrians they wish they run u over, they even insult u to bring a mattress and sleep on the crossing if u get a little slower 😂😂😂😂
In Ethiopia those that have cars things they're kings 😂car is expensive
At least they don't knocked down pedestrians on the crossing. In nairobi they dare not to have pedestrians crossing but they footbridges and that is what the city looks ugly
that always makes me sad as an Ethiopian too!
I love the fact that no matatus what we call boda boda in uganda 🇺🇬 and this makes it beautiful 🤩
Boda boda no good here. You face a fine if you do boda boda to transport peoples.
Addis Ababa taxis are the same color as those in Bissau, West Africa
I Jamaica here when I was a kid I heard about Africa is very poor, but I see now it was a lie
My city has deloped so much in the last twenty years so much that I do not recognize it.
I am proud of You sister !!! Keep it up
