As a Former Marine I just can’t bring myself to wear one in public. No desire to have the cops called on me for walking around with Karen’s freaking out at a man in body armor.

Pretty sure go ruck, crye, any gov surplus store selling old plate carriers etc. I personally have a crye and love it but like I said, it’s actually rated for ballistics etc and is what I use at work
@NoFate247 just an update how it compares to the others in their lineup. I think it holds less weight. I picked it because I didn't want velcro. Great work BTW.
@NoFate247 40 is perfect, their website says 14.5x2 plates for the quick release version, and 19.75x2 plates for the other vests. Thanks for the responses, subbing. Take care.
Nice review just in time for the Murph. $120 seems like a good deal. I don't know how some of the other companies charge like $200+ when they are all made in the same factories 🤷🏻♂️
@@NoFate247 out of all of them you've tried, do you know which vest has the widest neck or which ever is adjustable enough to fit an 8" neck? The rogue, mir and north look promising.
Easy for me. I filled my tub with warm water and woolite or dawn. Let it soak for an hour. Any cheap scuzz brush will clean it. Love it for calisthenics workouts.
@@scarredface2684 yep. I ordered 2 vests 2 days ago and still hasn't shipped and no word from company. Really regretting not getting Rogue's made in USA weight vest and plates.

Ordered early Monday. Website said order processing 1 day which I needed. It's end of business Thur already so at best it will be tomorrow which will be 4 days.
I went Amazon cheap on the vest ($35) just getting into this. Doing limited distance with the ~20# plate pair. How comfortable (shoulder padding) are the WT vest with heavy??
@@NoFate247 Having run over 100 ultras i'm aware of shoulder strain. Ultra vests are not know for shoulder padding. That's fair. I have a Hawaiian blue print one I tend to wear in public places. (Thank you so much for your service)

How is the trainer weighted vest? Can I run with it? My height is 5’9 I weight 140 I have an athletic slim build you think it will suite me?
It'll fit and you can run with it but not as comfortable or nice as the higher end versions. How often will you use it
You went all out and got all the vests. Nice. I really like wolf tactical curved plates. I want to get another heavier set. I have the 8.75 set.

Go with the simple weighted vest

Good video, I just purchased the Wolf Tactical Quick Release Plate Carrier that you reviewed a year ago, was hoping for an update on this video.
Ohhh you wanted an updated product review or you wanted them to update their product to A new version
@NoFate247 just an update how it compares to the others in their lineup. I think it holds less weight. I picked it because I didn't want velcro. Great work BTW.
@iwmaxx I think you can still get in two plates front and back so that's a 40 lb vest. Not sure how heavy you need it 😂

No I was just checking out vests and like the back pack the most.

WOw that's a great amoubnt. You can def. walk in these, but I'd probably air on the side of lighter over heavier
