Yo! Strawzack! I should have figured you'd be a Red Cow guy, what with the retro gaming hardware talk and what not. I've been really enjoying editing clips for them. Had to learn Adobe Premiere to do it.
Nice work Trevor! New listener here. Just added the channel on Podbean and looking forward to catching up on previous episodes. Is that background picture your real wall of media? I didn't realise there was a 'Hard Target 2'! Who thought that was a good idea 😂. 😁👍
Yo! Thanks so much for checking us out! We have a huge back catalog of episodes, so hopefully you find some episodes that you enjoy. That is indeed a still image of my wall of movies, though taken several years ago. There have been lots of additions and a few subtractions made to it since then. Funny you mention Hard Target 2. It's actually not half bad. Shot in Thailand, with at least 1 or 2 decent action sequences. The real reason I have it, is because Scott Adkins is in it, and a pet project of mine is to collect all of his movies! It's gotten a bit complicated in recent years, as some of his movies are only available in other regions, or lack physical media releases entirely, but as of now, I'm mostly up to date, with only a few movies missing from my collection.
@catchinguponcinema6100 I'll have to keep an eye out for his films! I enjoy hunting for DVDs in the local op shops but don't tend to purchase releases elsewhere. I wonder if I'll get lucky enough to find any!
Didn't realize there were multiple RoundUp movies, huge Don Lee fan, and MASSIVE fan of S. Korean movies, as far as I'm concerned they've out done Hollywood for over 20 years. Update, just ordered both Round Up sequels!
Yeah, The Roundup started as The Outlaws, and now its a full blown franchise. Supposedly they're gonna take a darker turn in the future. Not sure if that's advisable, but I'll show up day 1 for sure. I love those movies, and yeah, Korean cinema in the past 20 years or so has been really incredible.
Just what I needed tonight
Hello gentlemen!
