- We had heard of the La Segunda Central Bakery located at Ybor City in Tampa, Florida made the best Cuban Sandwich in the country and we had to find out fro ourselves. This bakery is over 100 years old and makes all kinds of different pastries from turnovers, cookies and a-lot more. Besides the Cuban sandwich we also grabbed some of the other pastries to try and give you our honest review. We hope you enjoy the video and get a chance to visit this great destination.

That spread was “off the hook!”😁. I LOVE Cubans! I do however love a Cuban with the traditional roasted pork as the second meat like Backlot does it.
I also immediately noticed the prices when you did the pan of the bakery case! 😮. So they are doing something right since they’ve been around for SO long. 🔥🔥
We did a double and triple take on the prices !! Seriously we couldn’t believe how reasonable they were and how beautiful all the items in the case were ❤️

I am still watching the video but had to stop to say I am living vicariously since I’m off carbs except for like monthly treat and I don’t have a place like this near me. I had to stop to write I am excited for you and excited for the quesito. I was obsessed! I rewound so I could write and then watch the moment! I used to get 2 from yayas in 436 with Cuban coffee and eat by Lake under hill on Sunday mornings might be my favorite pastry even more then French ones…I remember …❤ edit: I did think it would be hard and I was worried it was made wrong but after Cuban I’d be surprised yes you understand now this pastry! I’ll have one again one day. 🎉

I’ve been to Clearwater but as a 2 year old so I don’t remember it but siesta key & turtle beach( which was only because we ate at the turtle beach grille so of course we had to take a little walk on turtle beach on our way to siesta key. Now is that considered to be in the Tampa area? I love bakeries/restaurants that have been there for generations- it really makes you feel welcomed. I really want to stop by there next time I’m in town! Thanks guys!!

The best Cubans contain ham, roast pork, Swiss cheese, pickles and yellow mustard . Salami is a stretch!
I guess in Tampa, Florida, it’s a Tampa/cubano which includes salami. To me , all Forms of the sandwich are delicious with me 🤙❤️ it was my first “Tampa Cubano “ and it really was delicious 😋
