Sometimes the right role comes along and propels an actor into the spotlight. Deservedly so since Kieran has always been talented and it's nice to see his recognition in the past few years.
Yeah, I so envy his ability to be so articulate and verbose, yet never once stutter or stumble. I mean, I know SOME fancy words, but he absolutely puts me to shame, AND I stutter. 😅
AAAAAAAAND I just misused "verbose." I thought it meant to use fancier, higher-education words, but it just means you used too many words to say what you meant. But at least you now know my intended phrasing. 😅
I've met him, and several other actors. One of the things that I have noticed is that most actors, do not play parts, very far from their personalities. Very few, will surprise you as very different people.
Acting isn't about affectation. It's about the emotion of the scene an actor is in. Just because he doesn't change many mannerisms in his movies doesn't mean he isn't acting. Daniel Day Lewis isn't a phenomenal actor because he "becomes a different person" or whatever. It's because he understands the emotion of every scene he's in. The affectation or mannerisms don't really matter that much in comparison.
Thats funny. I went to Paris in 1969 and bought a ticket to ride the commuter train. I didnt speak French and didnt really know all the ins and outs. I bought a green ticket which was the "Coach" ticket Not a red ticket which was "First Class" My friends and I got on the train and sat in the red section with our green tickets. Some nice French person pointed out the error and said to forget it. No big deal. The funny thing is the green section was indistinguishable from the red section in accommodations. What your red ticket got you was a status upgrade to sit with every one else who could afford the extra Franc. heh.
I think it needs to be said that the truly funniest person on the planet is Conan. He is on all the time. Forget standup. That's different. Just pure funny, it's Conan.
There's a Mexican movie from 2000 called "Por La Libre", that sounds like this, two opposite cousins asked by their grandpa to have a trip to Acapulco to spread his ashes on the beach
After watching Vivarium, a serious movie, I stopped having pets in tanks or cages. It also is a good reminder if the fragility of our own planetary terrarium. Great idea for the movie and Jesse is great in it
Adventureland is still one of my favorite indie films especially having worked in the attractions industry with several visits to Kennywood. Great cast and soundtrack. Both that and Zombieland were just an amazing pair of hilarious films Jesse is a legend for.
I went to the 9/11 memorial museum and we had a lunch reservation. And we were really taking at all in… all heart broken. And through tearful eyes I saw the time and then told my wife “we uh, gotta go?”
Jesse, apologies. To be fair, they did you REL dirty on BvS, but you seem like such a likable, dowwn to earth, FUNNY mf. I hope to see you in a lot more good stuff! I'll def check this movie out :)
what are you on about? he worked in the industry, of course he will find his peers to be admirable because he knows what they did and the behind the scene process.. he's not 'kissing up' anything, when you know what it takes to do something, you'll appreciate thing more, even the most mundane one
I'm not a fan of this trend where videos just have a hard out. It sounds like Jesse was going to continue making a point, then I have to check if the video is buffering or is over. Can we, as a country, get some sort of an attention span back?
@@handcoversbruise1410no it’s just awkward watching them promote a not great film. And occasionally try to explain why Kieran Culkin almost backed out at the last minute

Doesn't Jesse never watch his own movies? And dont movie people say that 99% of a movie is done in the editing room? It's got to be hard to promote a movie he knows nothing about hahaha
@@Fergus316 I would pay to see him interact with Jay. Conan could run circles around him as he did then. Unless Jay gets into one of his quirky leather-and-brass cars again.
Jesse eisenberg plays…jesse eisenberg in the movie…Jesse Eisenberg. Never seen an actor with less range have as much success as this guy…..dude makes mad cash playing himself in every movie he’s in…..so freakin jealous….anyone could do that…..
Lots of actors are known for doing the same type of character over and over and that type often aligns with their personality Doesn't make it easy. Everyone most certainly could not do that lol
Jessie Plays so well with Conan's humor! Ive always loved this combo!
Dont cry Jessie! Dont cry Jessie!
Jesse. (“Jessie” if it’s a female)
It's crazy that it took so long after Scott Pilgrim for Kieran's talent to get as recognized as it finally is now after Succession.
Or Igby Goes Down
Sometimes the right role comes along and propels an actor into the spotlight. Deservedly so since Kieran has always been talented and it's nice to see his recognition in the past few years.
I take it you didn’t see Igby Goes Down, 2002.
Conan allows others to be funny -- so generous, so rare.
No only does he let them but it seems that he genuinely enjoys it. He’s the best💗
I forget who said it but they called Conan a joke doctor. He has a sense of when to steer a guest and when to let it ride.
yes and his guests are more comfortable because of it and ultimately, they perform their best because of it
I swear my YT kept going into 2x speed everytime Jesse spoke

I'm convinced that either Jesse Eisenerg is acting all of the time or has never acted in his life.
Lol
real, this just made me realize like ohhh he just playing himself every movie

No.
I cannot wait to watch this movie
Where can i find the full podcast? this is such a joy to watch.
On Conan’s podcast
There's a link to the podcast in the video's description box

I noticed that there was no baked-in ad. I guess Team Coco also didn't want to "ride in first class" for the video.
I can’t wait to see this movie!
Jesse and Kieran should reboot Spies like Us.
always enjoyed Jesse's movies but I like him a lot more after watching this interview. Conan great work as yoooouuuuge
Release the Conan cut!
Is sad how many times we hear they say Polish camps... that was Germany camps in occupied Poland
Where do I get the full episode and why is it not on RUclips?? I don’t get it

I went to the 9/11 memorial museum and we had a lunch reservation. And we were really taking at all in… all heart broken. And through tearful eyes I saw the time and then told my wife “we uh, gotta go?”
Tourists smiling in front of the Memorial for instagram selfies is what made me cry.
He's such a great actor and person 🤘
Nice 💚💚
Jesse Eisenberg is his generation’s Woody Allen.
How is the thumbnail identical to the one right before this? 😂😂😂
Wait, Kieran is an actual name? I only know it from Fire Emblem (Path of Radiance and its sequel, Radiant Dawn). 😮
Viggo, haha, the guy who played him was pretty good though.

@bigduginc I do, if the clip is interesting. Sort of like a preview.
WHY CAN'T THE CONAN STAFF HELP FIX JESSE'S COLLAR?
Conan talks way too much. Harrison Ford tried to correct him but it is getting worse.
