I'm glad I'll never have the opportunity to be in that position with Emma Stone. Damn, she knew exactly how to manipulate Kieran in such an understanding and sympathetic way making the guilt too overwhelming to ignore. She's a tough cookie with lots of frosting.
There's also a possibility that she meant it. Like, it was her money and her operation on the line and on some level, she'd recoup some expense off of him breaching contract, but she may have also genuinely thought "no, I wouldn't wanna do that to my family either. I get where he's coming from. I'll figure this out." Its a charming story about well intentioned manipulation the way it's told here. But the reality is probably somewhere in a nuance in between. Not exact same position, but I've been there in terms of needing to pivot around a specific point of failure. Someone asks me if it's gonna be OK, I'd probably be honest in that moment too - no, if I try to recast this thing and delay it, I'm gonna burn more money and probably lose half the stuff I've committed to and I can't let myself fall prey to the sunk cost fallacy and just do it because weve already spent so much. If you're out, I've gotta shelve this thing and figure out how to handle that as respectifuly and affording folks as much dignity as I can. But that's not your problem, literally, you're not the producer."
@@SeanBoyce-gp I see your point. Emma was in a position where failure was a possibility (as all movies are), and she was being realistic. But I still think she's a tough cookie with frosting.
Loved his performance in Scott Pilgrim. So damn funny and a perfit fit for the Wallace character. Loved the movie, the supporting cast and the soundtrack 👍
Kieran is a 1:1. There are very few people in the world that are 1:1. Original. If you dialed him in any direction he'd be too weird or too shitty. But he's right in the sweet spot where he's so likeable and so singular it works. He's so interesting.
He has another brother named Rory Culkin who's also an actor. He was in "Signs" with Mel Gibson, Scream 4, and when he was little, he played Michael Douglas son in the movie "It Runs in the Family with Kirk Douglas and Cameron Douglas.
Igby goes down doesnt get enough love. So is kieran starting to pass macully as the more famous bro? I still say no because macs films starting from uncle buck and ending when he retired the first time after richie rich are so many classics man
In the clip you can see how much better of an actor Culkin is than Jesse. 😂😂😂 Jesse always plays the same character. Of course Culkin had notes for him. 🤣
the first season is without a doubt the worst one, but i’d say around episode 7 is when it hit for me. you learn more and more about the characters as it goes on and while no one is a good person they all turn out to be fascinating.
I totally get that. I almost gave up, too. I mean, they are horrible, horrible people. But after about episode 5 I got hooked on the drama and power struggle- and the humor. It's incredibly well written. It eventually became one of my favorite shows.
He was basically playing himself as Roman. Why he got those awards I don't know. That season of award shows solidified for me that it's all a popularity contest and Jeremy Strong got cast away because they were all threatened and triggered by his acting process. They are all misfits and circus folk wanting to be recognized as creatives and they shunned one of their own. Shame on all of you. He's also not the only one that has that process and perhaps it was cause he was on a series and usually that type of acting is found on stage or in film and mixed with the fact that series wasn't just very immature it seems.
Hollywood please cast him, Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood as long lost triplets/brothers in a dark, zany comedy. A24 should produce, ideally.
Or Jake Gyllenhaal.
Awesome idea!💖
and Ryan Sampson as his identical twin brother.
i back this project
And Mcully as the older brother?
it's so sweet how much he loves his family
'Bitch I got notes for you too' 😅
❤Kieran❤
This meme is gonna go viral
That’s what I will tell my boss at my annual evaluation review meeting as he will walk out of it 😂
@@MissYalda please report back!!! 😂🤣🤣🤣
He’s such an adorable little scamp 😊
Looks GREAT with the facial hair,

The clip from A Real Pain is exactly like my son and his cousin. If I showed this to him, idk if he would laugh or cry. ❤❤❤❤
Emma Stone is such a mentalist 😂❤
She should have used her mindbending powers on Joaquin Phoenix for the Todd Haynes film 😆
Woah, that clip from the movie was fantastic. Kieran is a good actor
"Bitch I got notes for you too" was the best
Oh wow, bringing up Igby Goes Down got me off guard in a good way. Heartbreaking but great.
Loved his performance in Scott Pilgrim. So damn funny and a perfit fit for the Wallace character. Loved the movie, the supporting cast and the soundtrack 👍
We need a sequel to Igby Goes Down. Igby Comes Up would be amazing ha.
Love this actor so much!
My cousin and I are 3 weeks apart -- dads are brothers. I AM IN!!!!
He's the most successful Culkin family member. Especially him and Macaulay were in the first 2 Home Alone movies. Cousin Fuller and Kevin McAllister.
Better to be on set for “I am the eldest boy!” than to watch it on TV.

Christ a majority of my life I was certain that was Macauley in scott pilgrim. I didnt even know he had siblings.
Want your mind blown? In Home Alone, Kevin's cousin Fuller who wets the bed... Kieran Culkin.

@@popeye697was also recently in that series w the girl obsessed w beyonce, forget the name now
Wallace Wells, my Boy
We love kieran culkin
I still want to know what Macaulay thought of Kieran in Succession!
McCauley’s brother is a momentous occasion,
Kieran is an amazing actor.
Kieran and Jesse are going to win everything!!!
He gives me the same energy as Daniel Radcliffe - I need them in something together.
Dude, he is a FUNNY mf. I LIKE HIM! 🤣
The more his personality shows the greater of a fan I am. He is the type of sarcastic, logical, a bit neurotic people I vibe with 😂

I love him 😂
It’s even more funnier knowing that Emma Stone and Kieran dated and are still close friends 😂😂😂

Is he wearing friendship bracelets? Lol.
He goes around asking people for bracelets! He has talked about it before. He also has a few by his kids or bought here and there.
I gotta binge that show someday.
He's really good as Tommo in the UK show "Brassic". Not sure why he has his credit name listed as Ryan Sampson though. Weird.
Heck yea. Brassic is a great show. Love it.
I recognize him only from Father of the Bride.
Rorys are the superior siblings 😂

From somalia
I was in Poland for 6 months away from my kids, I know how that feels 😢
You know that, Greg Kinnear could play his Father in a Movie! "I'm just saying!"
Is that Macaulay Culkin's brother? He looks just like him.
Yes

I watched the first episode of succession and hated every single character and quit. Should I try again? When does it really hook you?

You will always hate them but stick it out. Totally worth it.

You haven't missed much, Kieran. It was just more of the same. The worst letdown since GoT season eight.
