I feel like people think sort-of the same thing about greg, but greg is a two-faced social climber, and from what I've seen has the least moral principles of all of them. he's nervous, insecure and a pushover (and maybe the most relatable to viewers due to his position), but it's always about saving himself. tom is similar, but actually seems to have some values/feelings, and puts others first occasionally (like the favour he did for greg). imo connor is a kind of contrarian choice, he definitely seems like some kind of vulnerable narcissist type, but he's not worse than greg and logan. the willa situation is incredibly common (just on a different scale), it's like most other transactional relationships. logan is an abusive tyrant type, lol. roman and kendall seem the most human, and would likely be pretty normal if they weren't who they are. frank and gerri are also chill

After seeing Culkin talk for the first time here…..I know now how little acting he is doing. We just like HIM and his nuanced offbeat personality. The script and story is doing the rest

He is so much like Roman in his mannerisms that when first watching the series I initially thought "well, he's not really acting, is he"? However, his acting in the final season is incredibly deep and moving - BRILLIANT acting. And his one liners throughout the series are the best

I completely agree that Roman would’ve been the best successor.
-Kendall is an addict and relapses constantly. No one in that position can run a business this large successfully.
- Shiv wasn’t involved in the business for what? The first 30 years of her life? When she doesn’t feel like it there’s a couple episodes where she just doesn’t show up.
- Conor will be President of the country soon so he’s not taking a demotion.
- Roman is the only who shows up to work rain, shine, sleet or snow. Notice how he never “calls in”. He doesn’t have any vices that wouldn’t allow him to be at his best on a daily basis and he understands the business. In the first couple seasons he’s actually the one making things happen and helps Kendall close a deal.
Unfortunately according to Jeremy Strong Roman’s final scene where he’s at a bar and order’s Gerri’s favorite drink (a martini) was put in there to portray Roman spiraling into alcoholism now that he’s lost Waystar Royco (which means he lost any little bit of accountability in life he had left) and that along with his terrible behavior towards her means he’s lost Gerri, who, in a sick, Freudian type of way played the role of the mother he never had.
Now he’s a billionaire that has no children, who no one actually cares about and nothing to hold him accountable.
What could possibly go wrong?

Every time I look at Kieran Culkin’s face I cannot stop thinking about an alternative universe where ‘Howard the Duck’ had several sequels and ended up having an much needed revamp in the 2020s with him as the new protagonist.
