First Amendment Test: Security Guard Says I Cannot Take Pictures "Under Chevron's Law."

- Опубликовано: 10 июн 2016
- DP Security guards seem to be under the impression that Chevron corporate policy forbids individuals from taking photographs and video of the property from a public sidewalk. They needed a lesson in First Amendment law, and it was my pleasure to give it to them.
This video was filmed primarily with a Sony a6000 (mirrorless) camera.

Mr. Fowler truly cares about Chevron's law. He's a guardian of it. Protector of all he surveys. Do not film his kingdom or Chevron Fire will see about this.
"Mr.Fowler" is a hopped up tinpot Tyrant Pig idiot.
The security guard is poorly trained and highly uneducated. Whomever is training him needs to be fired. Very sad
That "under Chevron's law" made me literally laugh out loud.
WarpRulez The security guard will lock him up . Then put him in the janitor closet
on my duty!
Mr Fowler doing his 'Dad' glare and not understanding why it's not working.
Priceless
"You're not taking pictures on my duty" this guy acts like he is saving babies😂
When he started looking at the camera i had a staring contest with him, I won.
Wow he's angry about it like he is CEO OF CHEVRON
Fowler needs to stay inside Chevron’s property. He is a danger.
Indeed, that Rent-A-Cop is a clear and present danger to society and to himself becasue he can get fired for being so disrespectul and contemptuous toward the First Amendment Tester.
Mr Fowler!!! Get your ass INSIDE! Ouch, that must've hurt his feelings so bad....
That "woman" I thought was a 10 year old boy walking up lol
Ha ha, he was called like a mother calling her son for dinner.
that guard backed down when someone yelled at him to get his azz back on Chevron property
He looks like the kinda guy who's lights are on but there's no one at home..
Security guards make the funniest situations out of their perceptions of legal vs illegal vs policy 😂😂
While the security guard was watching him take pictures all day long with "yes, we will see" and he never came back out to back his word that it wouldn't be on his watch.
Under chevrons law omg I haven't laughed like that in a while
Legend has it Mr. Fowler is STILL standing in front of Chevron.....
I'm actually taking 60 pictures a second 😂😂😂
They’re calling you back in like a dog 😂
Lol
"Sir!!! I do NOT abide by Chevron's policies. I only adhere to the policies of Sunoco!"
If anyone ever deserved a “You’re dismissed.” it was this guy.
Best wishes from the UK.
For a while I was an armed guard, and there is one golden rule about company policy.....
It ONLY applies on company property.
A guards authority ENDS at the gate/entrance.
Mr. Fowler, your mamma is calling.
The ignorance in this country is overwhelming. Give them a blue clown suit and they think they're something. SMH
His colleague was calling him to return back to his booth because she learned that he can film and take pictures from a public sidewalk.
Security guard is not very intelligent.
Anyone who would work a job that pays that poorly can not be very smart They are likely lazy and unambitious
Correctional officers are even worse
Actually I thought he owned the guy.
Look at the frustration on the face of security guard. Lol
Lol When his "work wife" called him back, I wish you had said "You're dismissed." His reaction would have been priceless. Thanks for posting. You did great.
Oh u will see “ you’re gonna learn today “ 😂😂
Hi from a 9 year career security enforcement officer. Not a patrolman, not a guard, an *enforcer* of policy. You are absolutely right. You did nothing wrong and never violated Chevron property. Chevron has no law, they only have policy. You did good to stand up to these morons. And thanks for not blurring any faces, if they show up at my site I'll tell my F/S to send someone else.
It's 2023......I remember this video when it was first posted.....Man how time flies.
Wow, that security guard was pretty intense.
"Under chevron's law," haaaaaaaaaaaaa! I laughed my ass off!
Nothing dumber than a security guard who thinks he's a cop.
oh Mr Fowler.... just pick up your cheque and go home to your family... why are you trying to be a superhero for a company that doesnt give a shit about you? lol
Supreem28 spot on!
He wasn't trying to intimidate anyone, which is why he walked up that close to the camera and put the craziest look possible on his face.
Sad thing is... if this had gotten physical, guard would get fired... He would not get a prize from Chevron like he thinks he would have... Chevron does not care about you Fowler... just accept that...
5:24 Irony reading the sign above the guard shack. lol "Welcome to Chevron - Have a Save Day"
“Oh, we’ll see.” Very silly man.
"Mr. Fowler, come back in here". "OK I am coming Mom"
"Fowler! Human resources will be mailing you your last check..."
One wonders if Mr Fowler ever got a clue
I'd love to be in the room when his employer saw this video.
1:48 - Under Chevron Law - This fool has absolutely no clue WTF he’s talking about...
You should've told him "don't go away mad, just go away".
"Mr. Fowler, where did you earn your law degree?" "Chevron U!. Where the school motto is 'We pass more gas than students'."
John Johansen bro it’s said Chevron U is the most prestige university it makes Harvard look like Elementary school
I got my law degree from Everest nigga!
You handled that like a boss👍! Wonder if mr.fowler was either a failed cop or couldn't be a cop? Hes got the aggression to be a cop.
When you take your job to serious lmaooo😂😂😂😂😂 what a clown!!!
It's a shame Chevron's Fire Department didn't show up. The fire in that guard's butt must have been painful for the rest of his shift.
This is a classic! I wish this auditor would make more videos. His channel got me into these type of videos along with Jeff Gray
Looks like they are aware of Mr. Fowler's issues.
Glad to see Nipsie Russell found a part time job after retirement.
sam torres and like nipsy he laughed loud at his own bad jokes and afterward asked Uh, nipsy is gettin' paid right y'all ?
First Amendment Tests your videos are absolutely fascinating. You are one of the individuals that inspired me to start conducting First Amendment Audits of my own. Your style and approach is very authentic and unique. You truly are a First Amendment Audit legend. I look forward to seeing more audits from you in the future.
What's interesting, is they give an uneducated fool a badge and a uniform is often goes to their head. This was evident in Germany, and now in So. Cal. on public property.
Simply amazing!
no badge
+stacky512a lmaooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!
Have you ever been to Germany? Securitys here are not in "should look like police" uniforms and usally don't go over their lawful limits.
(If you mentioned the Situation before 1945 please correct me)
What the hell is Chevron law? Wannabe gangster cop is his best. Mama must have been proud... except for the brain damage.😮😮😮
Even his Co worker knows that Black Don Knotts is crazy. Notice how many times she told him to come in?
I feel bad for the old man. Nobody should disrespect the elders. That man seemed very nice under the circumstance of being filmed.
I didn't know respect had an age requirement? Have you ever worked in customer service? That alone will teach you the fact that people don't get any smarter with age nor do they deserve to be treated any different from another adult.
that was the toughest walk of shame mr fowler ever made....
Nipsey Russell wants his cadence back....
I'm in my 40's but "sir, you're not gonna take photo's of my doody" had me giggling like a child.....
Hahahahahahaha
"Chevron's Law " lololol
Soon to be a series on Tyrant TV.
lol
"Chevron's Law" ...sounds like a bad movie from the 1970's.
Guards like him are classic, the more they are ignorant of the law, the more they are adamant they are right. When they are told they are wrong. They probably blame a change in the law they missed
He is trying SO HARD to be intimidating...and FAILING MISERABLY!
I crack up, every time I hear someone say "You can't take pictures", when you are clearly standing there taking pictures. Clearly shows a lack of intelligence.
I am so sick of this bullshit argument. There is a difference in taking pictures of a inanimate object such as a building or a refinery and trying to take pictures of a person at their home. There is no law stopping a person from taking pictures in public., but there are laws that could apply if a person is taking pictures inside of a persons home and capturing man, woman, or child in lets say various stages of dress. If that person was using their camera zoom to see inside a home and to take those kinds of photos then I believe a case could be made against the person for being a peeping tom.
The only way to stay free is always to test your prison walls.
That security was an EX PIMP OR SOMETHING 😂😂😂
Antonio Fargas!!
Photographer: Have a nice day.
Security: YOU have a nice day.
LMFAO
If Chevron doesnt want pictures taken then they should put up giant curtains.
This is one of the best 1st Amendment audits! No other video on RUclips is the auditor "threatened" with a private fire department!!! lololololol hahahahhah!
this dude said "chevron law" lmfao!!!!!
OMG ~ That was absolutely priceless!!! Chevron law huh??? That dingbat guard did NOT want to retreat when called back to his post. And what the heck was the threat with Chevron Fire all about? What they gonna do: Hose ya down??? LOL ~ I think by the time that old fool realized how idiotic he was making himself look it was too late and his pride took over when he should've just walked away. This was comical!!
I doubt Chevron instructed this security company and this guard to confront people outside the property line.
No, they didn't, and the woman yelling at the idiot to get back on their property was well aware of it.
FOWLER!! GET YOUR ASS BACK OVER HERE!! LMAO
This video is just as funny as it's ever been. 'You ain't taking pictures on my watch! '. "Mr. Fowler! Mr. Fowler!" "I'm going back in now." Lmao
That was his mom calling him back inside.
Chevrons Law sounds like a spin-off show from Law and Order!
If your job is security, you should have the right training to enable you to understand the law, and your boundaries. Poorly trained security guard with a bad attitude
legend has it that the security guard has since been seen chasing the google earth car around trying to prevent them from taking pictures as well, some say he even climbed the roof with a tarp to block them from taking satelite photos of the facility as well.
Chevron Laws ! Hahahahahahahahah wtf never heard that before
Essentially, by acting outside the scope of his authority, the security guard is breaking the law. I suspect his bosses realized this and quickly reined him in. He is lucky.
Chevron law I almost shit myself when he said it
I clicked to hear him say the whole Chevron's law thing.
Just imagine if he had a real badge. He'd have arrested the dude! lol!
You mean murder, then get a vacation and a promotion.
Government likes watching us but they don't like us watching them
And there goes Mr. Fowler with the walk of shame
She said, "Mr. Fowler you can come back in now" 😂😂😂
Those security guards need to learn where the jurisdiction ends!
"Under Chevron law..." Priceless
Where does he think he is - Venezuela?
+Fred Stiening lol
+Fred Stiening Thinks he is in the future... where Chevron and Brawndo run everything
I felt like this kid was a snitch in high school
I applaud your ability to stay calm and resolute. We need more people like you. I on the other hand have a personal space rule. Violation of said rule results in immediate and relentless first strike. No other reason to violate someone's personal space other than physical assault or intimidation to do so.
"Mr. Fowler!" LOL
I'm laughing so hard. Mr Fowler deserves an Osca award. Lol
A uniform can do amazing things to some people's ego.
The day Mr Fowler discovered that he was, Incompetent, irrelevant, and immaterial!
'We can do this all day' , or until my boss makes me go back inside. Lol "Fowler, Mr. Fowler"
Chevron's law!
He said "you have a nice day" like that's a bad thing.
No you have a nice day!
+sudilos117 I will thank you.
Just imagine that tyrant guard being a cop
Wow that guys failed the police academy one to many times lol
4:25 - Did he grab your equipment or you in any way? This guy is something else. You should have told him to stay out of your personal space or you will take that as a threat and defend yourself (the correct way to say it - I would have said it differently). A real tough and scary guy!! What a joke.
lol @ under chevrons law.... you will not take pictures on my duty.... FOWLER! FOWLER! ok...i'm coming... (tongue tied) MR. FOWLER!! OOOKAY IM COMING!!!!
